We made two trips to the Bedford DMV this week and the drive there and back including the time to get service was better than any trip to Oddfellows road. Every encounter with every staff member was pleasant. They resolved our issues and gave us documentation to show the issue was appeased. Checked in at the kiosk (after wading through all the people who were walk ins). I waited about 15 min before being called and it was easy peasy !! Got my REAL ID. The clerk could not have been nicer. She even retook my pic cause it wasnt the best first try. Clerk told me that there were about 70 people waiting for "walk ins" when she got there at around 7 AM. By 9 AM, they were no longer taking walk ins. It is obviously a problem. This facility is just too small for the people it needs to service.

When you arrive, you text a number to get in line so that you can wait in your car and see updates on how many people are in front of you. The employee in the lobby will also help you check that you have all the right documents so you don't waste your time if you're missing something. A few hours of my life I won't get back, but not as bad as it could be.
