I was very impressed with the service. My pet peeve is dirty dishes sitting in front of people and that did not happen! The wedding cake was delicious. White homemade cake with a light strawberry cream. My only suggestion would be to have had someone to serve all the pies. It was kind of awkward having to do it yourself. I definitely recommend Emily's for your next event.

They were helpful, responsive, and everything was clear and upfront. There were no surprise charges, or "gotchas". In fact they did several things beyond the scope of the contract without additional charges. More importantly, on the wedding day everything went perfectly. They gave us great advice on the set up of the tables, chairs, bar etc. They listened carefully to everything that was asked of them, made a couple of outstanding suggestions and dealt with the problems caused by strong gusts of wind at an outdoor venue with calm assurance. All of the food was incredible. The hor's d'ourves were fantastic, especially the brie and artichoke tarts, mini lobster rolls and tuna tacos. The mac and cheese in mini ramekins were also a huge hit. The dinners were equally delicious. I had the half chicken, which was served with a delicious polenta. It was absolutely amazing. Perfectly cooked, moist with a crispy skin. Other sides were served family style and were all fantastic. The dessert was also superb. Each guest received a trio of mini desserts, each of which was delightful. We had several guests with food restrictions (vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free). The servers made sure the restrictions were observed, and they made it a point to bring appropriate appetizers to those guests, which was a very nice touch. All of the guests raved about the food. The service was also first class. There were so many servers handling the passed hor's d'ourves that every guest had multiple chances to try each of the offerings. Service of the dinner was equally impressive. The venue is outdoors, and it is a bit of a hike from the kitchen tent to the dining area. Despite that, the guests were served quickly, and the food came to the table still hot. Finally, their prices are quite reasonable, especially given the outstanding quality of the food and service. A very good value.

We are all still talking about the lovely dinner they whipped up. My husband who does not like vegetables, LOVED THE VEGETABLES!! I don't really like meat, but I LOVED THE CHICKEN over beautiful fresh squash. We couldn't get enough and went home very full and satisfied. The staff were so lovely, comfortable, generous and competent. Thankful for their time and talent.

Working with SKBT and Karen has been a joy from start to finish. From the moment we walked into our tasting to create our delicious menu, to last minute changes, to executing perfect food the day of, I want to relive this experience again and again. My guests raved about the menu, and some favorites included fun takes on cocktail meatballs, shrimp and grits, and chilled tomato soup shooters. The food was beautiful and displayed like it was in a magazine. Karen and her team were also in charge of staffing my event. This meant not only did they feed my guests, but bussed the tables, cleaned up trash, set up my pie display (Karen took it upon herself to clean out her stock of cake stands and create the most beautiful tables ever) and EVEN mop my bathroom trailer when it sprung a leak. As guests started to leave, SKBT cleaned every table and organized my decor. Best of all, Karen and her team were friendly and attentive the entire night. My bridal party had their own tray of appetizers waiting for them immediately following the ceremony, and all night the staff checked in on my husband and I (as well as my parents) to see how they could help. I eagerly look forward to having another event so I can hire this team again.

Prices were so reasonable and it was an enjoyable atmosphere as well as a great place for a foodie like myself. Every thing tasted clean and home cooked with an upscale vibe. The space is a well decorated old home with all the quintessential New England charm one would expect. We sat outside to enjoy the good weather and enjoy the extensive patio. Our server was very friendly and professional. We opted for the blueberry salad, the mussels, the Gorgonzola bread and the watermelon gazpacho. Food was paced well, we jumped into the gazpacho first. It was like a watermelon salsa. The sweetness of the watermelon worked well with the funk of the onion and tomato. There was a light oil used to give the soup a better texture but it was used sparingly and wasn't greasy. It was a well balanced bite but not really a soup. The mussels were small but cooked well. The bread was crusted on one side and soft but crispy. The white wine broth was briny, rich and seasoned well. A good broth for dipping, which matched well with the bread pieces. The best bite was the Gorgonzola bread. Soft, tender crumb with a healthy amount of broiled cheese on top. Bread was pre-sliced but also was provided a knife just in case. Combined with the mussel broth, made a great bite even better. The salad was good but lacking. The salad was dressed well, blueberries were in season but missed the punch wild blueberries tend to have. The walnuts were candied locally and were lightly crisped rather than entombed in sugar like other places. The salmon add-on was seasoned well and grilled well. It was kind of plain in presentation, kind of pushed to the side of the plate with abandon. The dessert menu was extensive, along with their specials. I opted for the chocolate chip cookie warmed. It was a reasonable cookie for the price. Was a little overworked so it would've been hard if not warmed, but as a warm cookie it was good. The missus opted for the strawberry shortcake, and she enjoyed the single bite she managed to get before we got swarmed by the local bee population. The patio is very pretty, lots of flowers but also lots of bees. They had a tendency to swarm any sweet dish that came out, so it may be wise to either take dessert inside or to go if you can. Insect swarm aside, the food was great but pricy. The dishes coming out to about 70. The quality was good, the portions are large, but the price reflects that. Its really good though, so if you're in the area this place is a great spot for a nice meal in a very nice location

I've had food prepared by Nancy (the owner) before and always had my taste buds yearning for more, but last night I was able to step into the kitchen with her and take one of her informative, fun and very delicious cooking classes. I went with my team from work, and it was a great environment where once we all strapped on our Ginger & Pickles aprons, we were all able to "let our hair down" so to speak... We were greeted with a fabulous wine and cheese board, along with a phenomenal Brie baking away for us. We were given a menu of what we would all be cooking and enjoying that evening, pre chosen by our team leader. The menu was well planned, well written and not at all stuffy or overly complicated. Our "Valentines Day Date Night" menu included a wonderful beef tenderloin with a cream sauce, haricots verts with shallots and soufflés we made. So so so good! People work in teams on recipes and it really helps the evening flow. While 2 people are working with Nancy (and sometimes her assistant Brooke), the rest are taking in wine, Brie and observing some new techniques in the kitchen. Once one team is complete, The next team moves on to the next section of the menu. Before you know it, dinner is being played and served. Everything came out so well, it was as if we were dining out at your favorite restaurant. Nancy is able to answer all your questions and explain why things are done one way versus another, or give you ideas and tips on how to increase your own culinary skills at home. I will definitely be bringing friends here for some classes in the future.
