Captain nick and captain hunter showed us an amazing time. They are super friendly and great at what they do. 100% recommend spending a bit more for these guys

I've been on countless fishing charters in multiple cities so I know a great amount of how they're supposed to work. Initially, making the reservation with Josh over the phone was a breeze. No deposit required which is great considering South Florida's weather is very unpredictable. I'm very meticulous when it comes to fishing charters and live bait. It was my fault for not inquiring about live bait before booking. As expected, upon arrival there was NO live bait for our group of 6. The mate mentioned the day wasn't windy enough to catch live bait but I know that wasn't the case; the intentions nor effort were not present. In addition, the drive out to reach a fishing spot is 30 - 45 minutes. On a four-hour Charter, that travel time is essential. Of course, there are limited options for the captain but definitely should considering not counting the travel time as part of the trip itself. On the way back, the captain was rushing to make it back before the 11:30am bridge - mind you, the charter was supposed to finish at noon. Our captain and mate were super friendly, funny and made the trip worthwhile. Again, my fault of course, I didn't ask what type of fishing we'd be doing. If you're down for a relaxing, no excitement type of day, then this would be for you. Troll fishing is the most boring thing ever. If I would've know that this would be the case, I would not book. After four hours, two Bonitos were caught in which the captain kept one for bait on his next charter. Not the best catch but at least something was caught. Lastly, when returning to the dock, my car had gotten booted by the restaurant next door. The owner of the charter forgot to mention to the restaurant's valet attendant that my car was part of his trip. I had to wait 30 minutes for the company to unlock the boots. Overall, we had a great time but will not be returning. Despite the cons of the trip, my group still tipped a decent amount.

Awesome charter! Friendly and knowledgeable guys, nice and clean boat, highly recommend!

Captain Josh is the real deal! He used all his experience and put us on the fish! Including our trophy 86" sailfish! First Mate Nick was great! Setting lines, giving tips to the kids and even jigging on the side while we filled the box with a limit of black fin! We will be back and you should let these guys take you out too.

Visiting over March break with my father in law and two brother. Josh and Logan fit us in for a trip and we had the trip of a lifetime. Logan worked his birthday off for us and managed to get enough fish in the boat including a 55 Lbs AmberJack. Absolutely the fish and trip of a lifetime. This is my second trip with Josh and I'll never fish with anyone else.

We had a great time on Chasin' Finz for a half day fishing charter. Booking the trip with Josh couldn't have been easier. Josh was great about answering all of my questions before booking. This was my first time fishing like this and now I'm hooked. Captain Pete and Mate Tyler were very helpful and friendly. Looking forward to another day on Chasin' Finz next time we're in town!

Went fishing with the kids. Capt Josh and the deck hand were great. The negative is the time that it takes to get in and out to the fishing. You are paying to fish not travel and lots of time gets taken up doing just that...traveling. We arranged a half day trip so 4.5 hours (8-1230)fishing according to the web site. Travel time is at least 2.5 hours total... so in actuality you are fishing 2 hours for $650 including gratuity. We left the dock at 8ish and didn't start fishing till after 9a. We stopped fishing at 1050a to be back by 1230p. Make your own decision if it's worth the money. I can say though that the crew is great. Luckily we had a good day fishing and caught a bunch of king fish so all in all good day. Just want you to make an informed decision as no one has mentioned this.

We arrived around 7:30-7:45am and were on the water by 8am. We spent about 2 1/2 hours rolling to some of the spots they knew well. A couple of kingfish and a few others (don't ask me I'm just there to catch them all). The entire morning was relaxing, fun and filled with great conversation. The Captain Jeff pulled out the kite and I have to say this has been on my bucket list for a long time. I've always wanted to see it done live and in person. What an amazing experience. I was able to catch a couple of great fish as they put the kite out. But unfortunately for us we had to pull it back in about 20 minutes in due to a storm rolling in super fast. I plan on doing this again though I would love a catch and release for a sailfish. Dave was amazing and kept us going non stop and gave us breaks when needed. He was just awesome and fun to chat with. My husband was a good sport (seeing as my fish were bigger and better eating than his) and that made the trip for me! :) 4 hours was awesome but next time I'll try to book a couple of days maybe a morning and then a different afternoon. So much fun!! I can't wait to come back. The awesome thing is the guys recommended we filet one of the fish up to take up the dock to a restaurant that would cook it right up for us. So that is exactly what we did...you can't get any fresher than that...what an awesome recommendation!

Stretching across only a modest 50-acres, it's the perfect place to unwind within some beautiful nature & it makes you feel as if the city isn't only a stones throw away. Offering free entry, as well, it's a great place to get outside & enjoy your day. Whether you want to walk, fish, exercise or relax, this park is the place to go. It only has one trail but it's sizable. The trail wraps entirely around the crystal clear lake & then some. There's an area with a decent incline/decline in elevation which is about as good as you're going to get in FL. I especially love the massive Australian pine trees that are throughout the entire park. Not only does it provide beautiful scenery & a home for the wildlife, it offers shade as you're on the trail. Keep in mind there's some areas that are totally clear of trees so it definitely gets hot during midday. For the most part, however, I'd say a good 3/4 of the park has some sort of cover/shade you can utilize. This park has been a part of my childhood & I still visit to this day so that speaks for itself. It's always been well maintained which is something I truly appreciate. Guests, for the most part, do a great job at being mindful of their belongings & not leaving trash. The city employees are good about staying on top of it, as well. Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about Wolf Lake & I love coming. Do yourself a favor & find an awesome local park like this one to get outside.

In honor of one the areas most beloved residents, Hollywood Commissioners voted to rename the park after him in 1999. The park was originally named Yankee Clipper after DiMaggio's nickname but after his death his family requested the name change. It is a fitting honor for someone who gave so much to the community even lending his name for a world class children's hospital. Today you can stroll the same paths Joe DiMaggio used to enjoy. The park has a paved exercise path that runs around the perimeter of picturesque lakes. Along the way are fitness stations that use your body weight to work out. There is also a large shade covered playground for kids to enjoy. The real delight of this park are the extensive paths which are ideal for exercise like running and walking and for kids to safely ride a bike and skate on. The outer loop is .81 miles and the inner loop is .40 miles. This park is also excellent for bird watching as the lakes attract a number of species of birds. Just be sure to keep dogs away from the edge of the water. Last summer a crocodile was caught in the park before being relocated. This park is really pretty and beloved by the community just as its namesake Joe DiMaggio was.
