This park is called Holland park. It is a hidden gem and definitely worthy of a visit. There is a tiny mini beach area that you can enjoy. They also offer the vista tower, which shows you a nice vista point of boats coming and going.

The best part is all the gear and equipment and bait is included for all paying guests. There's several trip options to choose from. Early morning, during the days and their late night trip. We have done all, and I prefer the late nights. The water is calmer, it's not as hot, and it's pretty relaxing if you ask me. The business operates daily, weather permitting. The boats are pretty big, they seem to be able to hold about 30 persons on the fishing level. There's an upper deck for a smaller fee, for people who do not want to fish, but go along for the ride. You're welcome to keep whatever you catch, depending the size of course. Once we cough a nurse shark, we were not able to keep it, but it sure had eveyone taking onboard! You're also allowed to bring your meals and drinks on board. It's definitely a party if you make friends with your neighbors and enjoy the tour. I'll definitely continue using this company for years to come.

As a novice myself, the crew is informative and helpful in teaching how to use the rod, fixing issues such as lines being tangled or snapped hooks, and identifying the fish. Cool learning experience too. They showed us a sucker fish as it strapped to the boat walls before setting her free. We went on a Friday at 7:30pm. The boat wasn't too packed and we claimed the front. Between 3 of us, we took home 4 fish. We caught a bunch more that were tossed back in the water -- baby sharks, and many fish that weren't of proper size. Great adventure even if you don't catch any fish. A very peaceful view of the skyline looking east and we caught moonrise to the west. Nice ocean breeze! After returning, they scaled and gutted the fishies for some fun cooking ahead.

We arrived around 7:30-7:45am and were on the water by 8am. We spent about 2 1/2 hours rolling to some of the spots they knew well. A couple of kingfish and a few others (don't ask me I'm just there to catch them all). The entire morning was relaxing, fun and filled with great conversation. The Captain Jeff pulled out the kite and I have to say this has been on my bucket list for a long time. I've always wanted to see it done live and in person. What an amazing experience. I was able to catch a couple of great fish as they put the kite out. But unfortunately for us we had to pull it back in about 20 minutes in due to a storm rolling in super fast. I plan on doing this again though I would love a catch and release for a sailfish. Dave was amazing and kept us going non stop and gave us breaks when needed. He was just awesome and fun to chat with. My husband was a good sport (seeing as my fish were bigger and better eating than his) and that made the trip for me! :) 4 hours was awesome but next time I'll try to book a couple of days maybe a morning and then a different afternoon. So much fun!! I can't wait to come back. The awesome thing is the guys recommended we filet one of the fish up to take up the dock to a restaurant that would cook it right up for us. Been doing Charter fishing for a while and we've NEVER EVER had to bait our own hooks before this charter. Deck hand NATE was too busy messing around with his music and dancing to bother baiting anyone of us and told us that we had to bait our own hook. The poles are old and beating up, the hooks are rusty and old and the line are worked out. First cast and the line broke, the weight broke off...No wonder we had to pay for the tip up front before we even set foot on the boat. Boat sat 15 people and that boat was very cramped to fish. We basically was shoulder to shoulder, felt like combat fishing in that boat...very, very disappointed. Flew from Seattle to do this and we got let down for sure...

The trail is about a mile around the lake and flat, making it an easy walk. Perfect for the kids to ride bikes or kick a ball around. There is a small event space available, restrooms are fairly clean but has no toilet paper. There are no drinking fountains. There is ample parking available however, they tend to fill up quickly on weekends. On the morning I walked the trail, there were a few doggy classes in progress with the cutest pups! Owners were friendly enough to let us pet them. This park is used a lot for photo shoots as well. We saw someone preparing a "Will You Marry Me?" back drop.

Stretching across only a modest 50-acres, it's the perfect place to unwind within some beautiful nature & it makes you feel as if the city isn't only a stones throw away. Offering free entry, as well, it's a great place to get outside & enjoy your day. Whether you want to walk, fish, exercise or relax, this park is the place to go. It only has one trail but it's sizable. The trail wraps entirely around the crystal clear lake & then some. There's an area with a decent incline/decline in elevation which is about as good as you're going to get in FL. I especially love the massive Australian pine trees that are throughout the entire park. Not only does it provide beautiful scenery & a home for the wildlife, it offers shade as you're on the trail. Keep in mind there's some areas that are totally clear of trees so it definitely gets hot during midday. For the most part, however, I'd say a good 3/4 of the park has some sort of cover/shade you can utilize. This park has been a part of my childhood & I still visit to this day so that speaks for itself. It's always been well maintained which is something I truly appreciate. Guests, for the most part, do a great job at being mindful of their belongings & not leaving trash. The city employees are good about staying on top of it, as well. Overall, I have nothing but great things to say about Wolf Lake & I love coming. Do yourself a favor & find an awesome local park like this one to get outside.

I saw a guy fishing at the pier, and he started yelling towards someone down the pier. I look back, and he tells me that he's yelling at me! He's dressed in regular clothes, and to the side of the pier. He's fishing, not working. He has some eye condition so his eyes are googly, so I couldn't even tell that he was looking and yelling at me. Especially since he has no uniform on, like I've seen the actual workers wear there, and they're by the sign when they're working. But, this guy had no indication, I thought he was an old male Karen once he told me he was yelling at me. He was holding a spool of fishing line, which is why I couldn't see his security badge until after I passed him and he started yelling. He had such a nasty attitude. It all started because he didn't want to do his job, dress up. He could've salvaged the situation by lowering his tone when talking to me, and showing some respect. But nope, he acted like a child. I wonder if he actually worked there. That's still an unfortunate experience. Also, I didn't see any no fishing signs on the beach. But learned that later.

He was extremely patient answering our group's many questions and educated us on numerous aspects of the ecosystem. The camp itself goes back six generations, which gives a very personal touch to the experience. Marshall went above and beyond "just" an airboat ride, making a necklace for us out of a river plant, stopping at a private island to allow us to explore, and introducing us to the people and animals that are part of the camp. Marshall was in constant communication leading up to the tour, professional, and accommodating. This excursion should be a must-do for anyone visiting the area.
