RFCU had a branch in Mansfield, and soon had branches in neighboring towns. Free checking, friendly tellers, free coin machine and redemption, and they're on the SUM network which means I'm never far from an ATM. I've only ever had one or two minor issues and they were handled promptly by tellers or customer service folks via phone. PS- They have real humans answering their phones!

The Bank of America's in CA are open until 6pm every day, which is very convenient for the average person. The normal work schedule is from 8am-5pm for the majority of the population. One can still make it into a branch for any banking needs in CA. It was Thursday at 4:30pm and I went to the Bank of America in Mansfield for some change. The branch was already closed. Apparently, this Bank of America in Mansfield closes at 4pm on Thursdays. How are people supposed to go to the bank if they work? Point is not all Bank of Americas run the same hours. Its easy to criticize banks as everyone wants things to be speedy and result in their favor. In general though all banks are the same, they all process money sometimes they loan money, they have standard operating procedures and steps in place to insure safe transactions. The difference is whats convenient to you and by employee attitudes. I have had 2 positive experiences with this bank one a few years ago when they helped release a hold on a check, the last being a couple of days ago when I needed to replace an expired debit card and couldn't wait the 7 days for mail. My usual branches machine was down so I drove a few miles and entered around 12.30. The teller told me that one of the seated managers would be able to do it however they were working with other customers and it might be a wait. Fair enough. Shot the breeze with her then went outside and took a little walk investigating the food options in the plaza. Nothing appealed to me so I went back and grabbed a couple of lollypops and waited. Not a big deal, I have learned to be patient. I checked email and watched a couple of you tube clips. I made note that the branch is spacious and immaculate. The couple that was occupying one of the managers finished up and I had the pleasure to meet Courtney a stunning blonde with a friendly demeaner who helped me and talked with me like a valued customer. She gets it. Made my day in fact. We chatted about the new pens. TD always has plenty of pens to pocket LOL These latest I do not like they are squared not round and uncomfortable to write with but will be there for me in a pinch like this TD branch.

It is required by the consulate to attach a copy. Andrea also confirmed that she does not have her's. I asked for a manager to see if maybe they keep a copy of these records on file and could help me but Rene said he was the manager and I could not speak to anyone else. Now I have to reprint all the documents as he already signed them and stamped them. He knew up front I will need this copy and the dates. Then got passive aggressive "have a nice day" on my way out.

The first time I had to go thru multiple steps to get it. This last time I refused and told them to mail it. now They say you can't print without an interface. I have the latest Safari and still can't print one even download my statement. Also in order to speak to someone at our local bank, you have to call the main number to speak to someone in my local bank to make an appointment to see them. This Bank is not user friendly. I hate to change banks now because it is such a hassle to change everything, but I guess I'll have to.

They even went as far as blaming the customer for their proven mistakes. My parents had Crescent Credit Union for 50 years and when they merged with Sharon Credit Union things went downhill quickly.
