Jodie the Assistant Manager was extremely helpful, and friendly. She took her time with me to answer my questions and made me feel like a valued customer. I really liked the small bank feel, and the option to opt out of overdrafts. The building is brand new, and they even have coffee and water for their members. Visiting the area, and wanted to make two deposits. I saw that this branch is a shared branch for my credit union. The tellers are very nice, and friendly. I did not have a wait in line. But none of the tellers know how to do a shared branch transaction. The Manager was busy. I was told to give her a moment. I waited 20 minutes for the manager to do my transaction. In addition to another 15 minutes for her to put in my information. If I had been told in advance, it would take 30 minutes plus to do a simple cash deposit. I would have went elsewhere. This is a nice branch, but tellers need to be trained to assist customers. The Manager should not be the only person to assist. A more efficient way should be devised to better assist clients with deposits. read more

I went in to transact some business today. Every time I go in to any of their offices, service is always beyond reproach. Today, I spoke to Julian in the Rockdale Avenue location. The standards set by this bank are extremely high, because all of their employees are the nicest, most courteous, and competent, that I have ever encountered in any business. It is nice to see that you can still go somewhere and receive the epitome of excellence in customer service, and be treated with respect. I have been going to this bank for over 20yrs and I have had nothing but issues with my debit card I used it to put gas and then I tried to add money to an account declined mind you I have money in the account. I didn't think anything of it until I went to the front store and I was so embarrassed what. It declines checked my card app it was restricted I am so upset. This credit union is the worst financial institution I have ever dealt with. Have had many issues over the years but this week was the last straw. They did not credit an equity payment correctly. Then got a call from a very rude and aggressive person. My payment was not delinquent. They have no clue how to service a loan or treat a customer. I paid off the loan and closed out my account. While I was closing the account there were three people in front of me doing the same thing. The tellers did not even ask anyone why. I guess they know how bad their service is. I wish I could give 0 stars. nothing but problems we kept getting over draft fees when I signed the paper work so they could not over draft and it kept happening had to fight to get the fees back. worst bank I've ever had to deal with multiple fraud issues and they gave me a hard time with it. they lack customer service skills. one woman in particular in the New Bedford office Denise was extremely rude to me. actually slammed down my property and touched my stuff that i sat on the counter while trying to explain to her a fraud charge on the account. I will never bank with them again do not waste your time. go to a real credit union like New Bedford credit union or a real bank like citizens I have never had an issue with there customer service is great never even had a fraud issue. at Taunton I've had multiple it's crazy. read more

OMG I thought this bank was bad before - frequent mistakes, unknowledgeable and inexperienced staff, the occasional unkown postings/errors to my account. Now they have processed a conversion to a new online UI and it is the stuff horror movies are made of. I cannot count on my fingers the amount of issues and inconveniences I've had since this conversion kicked off at the end of March 2022 (holding all my incoming checks and even my work direct deposit for multiple days before posting to my checking account, my kids balances going to zero, seeing all activity that my SSN is linked to in one jumbled incohernet mess - that's just a few), and good luck trying to get one of their employees to help you out. Unless you like waiting in phone queues for 30 minutes I would suggest just going down there for the bad service instead - at least it's quicker. I would not suggest that anyone start an account here, I promise that you will regret it. I am a loooong time member and still there because I've used them for my banking since I was a kid. I have everything connected to my accounts here and it's going to be an nuisance to set up elsewhere, but I've decided this is the last straw for me. The grass is greener elsewhere. This place is a hot mess of garbage. TFCU took away all incentives to be a member there (members used to accrue points for meeting certain account criteria) and added a disatrous new online portal. It was not an upgrade. If you like feeling as though you get slapped in the face over and over again by your bank, then this is the place for you! PS: The new bill pay sucks, it's slow and payees that I was able to send payments to electronically are now being sent by snail mail. read more

Terrible customer service. I had 2 unauthorized charges on my account within minutes of each other. The banks third party system even called me and left a voicemail stating that there was suspicious activity on my account. The customer service rep basically told me Im lying and that the charges could have just been me. Im jumping through hoops trying to be refunded with zero help. Ive used this bank for years and will definitely be closing my account after this. read more

Was awesome prior to new conversion. New conversion has taken away benefits of being a member! ATM FEES! NO FAST PAY PROGRAM so to make matters worse they see pending pdirect deposits which they could do for you with one button instead they don't! Absolutely horrible experience. I have been a loyal customer for 22 years and they couldn't waive a $15 debit card fee after THEY deactivated my debit card then they wouldn't reactivate said car either. Disgusted with the attitude I received by Katie over the phone and shocked to hear they allow someone to be a supervisor who treats customers like that. I have been doing buisness with TCFU for years now, had loans with them, checking and savings accts as well. and for the most part been acceptable. One interaction has ruined it all, with thier employee in the back (I wont say her name here) but my wife and I had had such rude, abrupt and crappy service from her. She even went to her manager and started talking crap about us while we were still in earshot sitting in her office still . I have since closed my accounts and took my buisness else where. At this point in time I would tell ppl to stay away, I have heard rumors from other people about this persons lack of ettiquette as well, so its apparently not a one time bad day sort of deal with her.
