I figured if I came right after the bank opened that I'd have a better chance of avoiding the typical lunch time rush. I was wrong. Front parking lot was already full but I found a spot in the back. Came in to find only one employee who could help me make some account changes. I don't mind waiting a few minutes when there's another customer, but what I was told would be 10 minutes turned into more than 20 minutes. Then add another 20 minutes before we were actually working on my account. Then there were computer problems. After more than an hour I finally left without having my issue resolved; I left my info on paper but the computers were down, meaning no changes could actually be made before I left. The employee I dealt with was nice, apologetic, and trying to be helpful, so no fault there. But a really negative overall experience that would keep me from coming back.

But the folks at this branch are always pleasant and those that have been there for a while always greet me by name. I have come in many times over the years to use the notary services they provide and I may be old-fashioned, but I like being able to go into a branch and have them get to know me personally in case I ever run in to a problem and need help. Having a relationship with a real person is, in my opinion, better than just the convenience of being an account number without a face. I have banked with TD Bank for so long that it was Commerce and when a new person deposits a check for me they always ask if I need help looking up my account number because there seems to be a few digits missing. I assure them that the account number is fine but it is older than they are, most likely. I like the service and the personalities I have encountered over the years so I will remain a customer and encourage others to do the same.

Also it can get very busy here at times. I come here to get my notary done. Friendly staff. Oh I almost forgot one time I somehow dropped my ID in the parking lot and had already driven away. Luckily a customer found it and one of the staff called me and I came to retrieve my drivers license - I thought that was pretty thoughtful.

It's simple to park since there is a really big parking lot for the bank and stores in this strip mall. You walk into a big bright branch with plenty of light. I found the team to be extremely friendly with plenty of hellos and smiles. The deposit only took a couple of seconds and the teller helping me was nice enough to photo copy the check for me. What I like most about the TD branches are the teams that are in them. The people in these branches are extremely friendly and helpful. This is very refreshing these days a many places are going with more and more automation to eliminate the branch banker. We use TD for my organizations that have accounta held here and I am just so pleased with the time and attention given to me with any questions I have. I use two branches, one in Mineola (my home Village) and one is Westbury on Brush Hollow Rd.
