My husband & I stopped at this branch for him to do some business. While he was occupied, I went looking for a restroom and an employee asked me if he could help me out. Turns out their restrooms are on the second floor and he said he had to escort me as the doors have a security lock. He punched it in for me. My husband said his transaction was fast. Place was deserted on a Tuesday evening. We went inside because their drive up ATM was out of order and being repaired. They do have a walk-up ATM but the husband doesn't like those. My friend is preparing for international travel. The evening before she called because her account was locked. She was transferred several times and due to their having an old phone number she was told she had to go to a branch. We arrived at the branch at 5:45 pm, 15 minutes before closing! We were promptly greeted and a gentleman helped her. It took until 6:25 pm which was almost 30 minutes past closing time. He was so friendly and helpful explaining why her account had been locked and then updating her information and resolving the problem. He never made her feel like she was keeping him past hours on a Monday! And a very snowy Monday at that. His kindness and helpful attitude was very much appreciated!!! He then even held the door for us as we were leaving making sure we got to our vehicle ok in the dark hours. read more

I opened an account there about 8 months ago with Edward. He seemed to be helpful. About 4 months later, I called to close my account because I was noticing some automatic withdrawals I wasnt sure of. Fast forward 2 months. Edward calls me and is very rude and condescending saying that my account is over drawn. I was trying to figure out how because I closed it but any question that I asked he was very rude and never said anything but I need to pay and come in. I was out of town so i went in 3 days later. I came in and was asking how it was possible because my account was closed. I ended up just paying it because I couldnt work with him and I will never bank thru chase nor recommend because of him. Having been with WAMU since I moved to Washington, I have had mixed feelings with the changeover to Chase. So far, I have been surprisingly pleased with service. Have not had any truly bad experiences with Chase, outside of an issue with depositing at the time of the changeover. Since then, have not run into any issues online or at their branch. I reference the Redmond location as it is the one I have visited the most recently. All in all, I am liking Chase though I am a bit confused with the bank fees with the change. Having not experienced any of this pain, I am so far content with Chase as they have convenient branch locations and many ATMs in the area. read more

This Chase always seems to have the longest wait time ever inside. There was an issue where neither the front atm or drive thru atm was working to accept deposits. When I told the teller on the inside about the atm in the drive thru not working properly all weekend she said that it wasnt an Chase atm & it was managed by Brinks. Instead of addressing the complaint she passed it off. Super annoying. read more

He was very professional but still friendly, which I appreciate as usually banking is pretty tedious stuff. I have been a Chase customer for over 12 years, and have been largely satisfied with them. We keep all of our savings at Chase. We have made a few real-estate investments, and this time around decided to use Chase for mortgage. TERRIBLE MISTAKE. Unlike their commercial banking, that seems to be reasonably competent, Chase's mortgage banking in this area seems to be staffed by below par employees. Our mortgage broker neglected to update important information on our prequalification (which had been issued months ago), and didn't realize that when someone is taking out a 5th mortgage there are different guidelines. As a result, Chase ended up unable to meet the closing date that was set based on their commitment, and we had to ask for an extension. Even after the extension, Chase failed to process the loan. We've taken out mortgages enough times before to know how bad of service we got. Lucas, the mortgage broker and his lending manager did not communicate at all: only after the deal fell through, and we tried to arrange other financing, did I realize that they didn't ask us basic information that may have helped close the deal, that the other lender was asking (and couldn't understand why Chase had trouble). They also didn't communicate: Dean, the lending manager, told my realtor on the evening the day before closing that they can't close, but didn't even bother to inform me at all. The realtor was the one asking what's up and that's how I got to know. In this fast moving market, you just can't afford this level of incompetence on your side. read more

What happened? WHO is the manager who completely closed this main Redmond bank, including the drive-up window, during the coronavirus?? Friday, April 3rd, late morning--big sign on the only main Redmond branch, that it was closed. There was no referral to go to another! The small branch in Fred Meyer grocery has been closed for weeks and the ATM there does not give money. Hours online for Chase have not been adjusted for the coronavirus, and humans are impossible to reach on their phones. What kind of customer service is this? NO reason whatsoever why their main bldg. drive-up was closed! What, are customers supposed to drive 15 miles to other suburbs, only to find them closed too? During this time of trial, people need access to their money!!! Other, different banks were open! Maybe all the people from Chase ought to take their accounts to Wells Fargo, about a mile away? read more

Life is upsetting in Redmond when you work like a dog, and businesses like this one treat you with disrespect. Came in to open a new account, because my old one is not reliable, and after sitting for a while I asked for help. The what I thought was nice lady, went to get someone and came back and said someone will be right with me. Then she asked me if I was an American citizen. . Is this legal? I never had a Bank ask me this in my life. Would you have asked a white person the same question? You break your back for this country and this is the treatment you get. My boss was recently appointed the treasurer of her Church. She doesn't really know how to operate a computer, so when she needs something that is on the mighty internet she asks me. She had previously gone to this branch to have the church's accounts transferred to her name, they told her all she had to do was login with the old passwords and change it. So she gives me the information and I attempt to do this. EXCEPT Chase doesn't recognize my computer and ALL of the security questions were still set to the previous treasurer. My boss assured me that the bank said this was all we needed to do. So we went to this branch. They helped us, we got everything sorted out. I thought. A week goes by and my boss asks if I can print statements for the checking account. SO I login, and can only see the savings account. Call the bank, the security questions ARE STILL to the previous treasurer. We go together again to this branch (its the closest) and talk to a different guy, who informs us that my Boss wasn't on the checking account and needed to have the reverend come in and sign some papers. Another week goes by, my boss tells me her reverend got everything fixed and can I now, print those statements. So I login, the checking account STILL isn't there. read more

When this location was WAMU, I remember it as the bank where no one will help you and everyone tries to "act busy" when customers actually show up. When they switched over to Chase, they didn't change their "fake busy bee routine". I was always amazed at how even if I would show up and be the only customer, they would manage to extend my visit with shuffling papers around while they talked. The one star I gave them was for making me feel so fed up that I just kept the Chase account open for "show" and transferred my savings to a credit union. read more

Customer service atrocious. Bank opens at 9am. Went in today around 9:15 and was told no teller in the building to handle transactions. Was told to wait or go to another branch. WHAT??? I asked to speak to the manager and was told she was out as well. I decide to close my accounts and find a bank with customer service and while I sit and wait for cashier's check the teller rolls in at 9:30. read more

Haven't talked to the cubicle guy yet but I'm pretty pissed off about this long wait because they only have two desk people here today.... --- Update --- Cubicle guy (Cubicle Gentleman) says that they are understaffed today. Everyone is great except one guy. Think he is the manager. Twice now he repeatedly tells me there is an ATM as though I don't know there is. Not just once but multiple times within a conversation. I don't want to use the ATM for that size check. With the interest they made from my mortgage last year I will go to a teller or drive thru if I want to! He's awful!!! read more

Please note: This is not a review for the JP Morgan Chase corporation, but for the local Redmond branch office. I'm not a fan of major banks (I'm a member of a credit union), but my experience at the Redmond branch was OUTSTANDING. After trying unsuccessfully to solve a long and complicated issue over the phone, I finally resorted to walking into the nearest branch and demanding to speak to the manager. I'm so thankful I chose this one! I was immediately met by a young man who patiently listened to my story and then went directly to the Branch Manager. Dale (the manager) stopped what he was doing and sat down with me, taking detailed notes and asking relevant questions to clarify the matter further. Long story, short: he solved my dilemma within 42 hours and called me regularly to keep me informed of his progress. He was diligent, professional and friendly. THANK YOU, Dale! read more

Wish I could give them a zero rating. Horrible customer service. I walked in to cash a large check amount. First they said they only had 10k available, then 7k, then 5k and finally only 2k...wtf? It's a stand alone branch!!!! How the hell do they not know how much money they have available? And this took 2 hours of my time waiting and at the end I was asked to go to different branch to cash the check. read more

These guys try to do good but fail to deliver . Over a year they screwed up my deposits like 3 times , each time taking several days to resolve and get the money to actually show up. They also have some of the most self serving policies that cost the customers more. Just to name one , the order they process deposits vs payments so you are more likely to get overdraft or late charges read more

A personal banker, Natalie, helped me setup a Liquid card for household expenses separate from our checking account. I used to work for Chase, but not this location or any of the staff here, FYI. Natalie really took an interest in me and my needs. I told her about my experience working for that company, she shared a little bit about her story and really just made me happy I came into the bank that day. I know it's popular to bash the banks, but I wanted to at least let Natalie and her managers know what a great job she is doing.
