I had money in my savings account but Advia charged me two times to transfer money from my Smart…read moreLine account. So I called them and asked them to transfer money only if I didn't have any in savings. I was told I needed a new user name and password because my husband is primary on the account. He's never used the online banking app and doesn't handle the finances/banking. It took me awhile to get used to the system but I finally did. Meanwhile I was calling customer service/phone tellers for assistance and they got upset with me and wouldn't help me. They either hung up on me, would not answer my calls or told me I had to go to the credit union branch for help. I use the online system/App to stay on top of what's in my banking because my husband is not good about giving me his debit slip charges. The tellers are nice until there's a problem and then they stop helping you. They will hang up on you, tell you "you'll have to go to a branch for help, or not answer your calls. I basically was harassed and bullied by Advia and had so many lock out attempts I was checking the usernames and passwords I was entering meticulously. I was still being locked out. I was told to check with my cell phone provider which I did. I also checked with Apple who said the problem was with the credit union. So since I didn't have access to my account I became over drawn and have been stressed out since November 24th/17 days...or 3 weeks. I am now afraid of being bullied again by Advia but all this is not right. I have been a member for 47 years.

A very special…read morebank Most of the time we use banks for perfunctory and mundane purposes and don't really require a whole lot of interaction with actual people. So much is automated now that we can do much of it online or with minimal human contact. But occasional something complicate, confusing and difficult pops up that requires a banking expert. We required such a banking expert recently and needed to resolve a rather convolved and old problem expediently and efficiently. We were in another state, in a bank we didn't know that didn't know us so we had reservations about the outcome. However we got in contact with the bank's president Matthew, and he was incredibly pleasant and personable and had amazing knowledge and flexibility. He, along with several other wonderful individuals in the bank, solved our problem and went out of their way to give us the information we needed to fix a complicated problem with smiles and humor. Yeah, banks are kind of boring and we expect them to do things without much effort on our part. But once in a while you really need a bank banking expert for something out of the ordinary and this is the real test of the institution and the folks working there. And this Comerica bank and more importantly Mathew and the people working there went far beyond what they had to do and made a difficult situation into one that was quickly and simply solved. Nice to have a site like Yelp to praise a business when they truly deserve special merit.

After I retired, we moved to Battle Creek where our main credit union is NOT located so we opened another account at Kellogg. Kellogg has always been very professional and courteous to us every time we go there. We are very impressed with all the staff at Kellogg on B Drive North!

That certainly could be on me. I don't think it's all on me, but it could be on me. I get the feeling however, the H&R Block works directly with IRS and must get some sort of kickbacks to deliver more money to them. That's what it seems like... I would've given them a three star review if that had been the only thing, but I just got a letter from the state. My state tax return was not ever filed. I only had one little week left to pay it. They told me I would get a refund from the state and that would cancel it out. Now I have had to pay out of pocket when I don't really have the money and I'm going to have to wait for the refund.
