Being a regional bank does have some drawbacks because we could have deposited while in another state when we had more time. But we made it, and made our deposits a day earlier than if we waited until the next day after we got home...and sometimes that is important. The teller was friendly and efficient and I walked back out to the car where my wife was waiting. The total time was under five minutes. They do have the usual drive thru's and ATM. I chose to go inside because I needed help with identification of one of our accounts and because I don't completely trust the transfer mechanism with cash!

There are many reasons I left, but here are the top ones: 1) Fifth Third is pulling out of small towns in SW Michigan, leaving only an ATM behind, if that. 2) At the branches I use, there's constant turnover of the tellers. To me, that means they're not paid or treated very well. 3) Corporate spends LOTS of $$ on political lobbying in Washington and Lansing. Telling customers/clients 'I don't know' isn't how one should be responded to. This branch used to be quite a great spot and branch to go whenever we need anything financially related. We have been coming here for years. Now, it's full of employees who are just flatly giving out 'I don't know' to customers/clients.
