My banking needs are relatively simple…read more I became exceedingly unhappy with the service and poor attitude that I was receiving from PNC. I had originally started as a MidAmerica (the Naper Boulevard branch) customer, was swept when National City took over and then finally PNC ("PREVIOUSLY National City" :-) came in. MidAmerica was a great local bank. In my last year with PNC, there were always unnecessary and surprise charges. It became very clear that PNC was not in business for the little guy, although I was a legacy customer from MidAmerica. Having switched banks before, I could see where this was going. So, last April, I marched myself over to Naperville Bank & Trust and set up an account with Loretta. Other than to write this review, I have not looked back. The on-line banking works well and on time. They even have mobile banking, but I have not availed myself of that. The locations are convenient. NB & T is tied into Wheaton Bank & Trust and Glen Ellyn Bank & Trust such that the local banking and ATM networks are huge and convenient. If I remember correctly, Naperville Bank & Trust customers NEVER pay to use an ATM in the U.S. If you are charged, then they reimburse you. Is that "crazy generous" or what? If you have had your fill of PNC or Chase or the other big banks and their shenanigans, then you might want to give Naperville Bank & Trust a try.

With the services that Chase is taking away from their customers, I have become angrier and angrier…read moreevery time I go into the bank. The bank cannot count my change and has now taken away human tellers in favor of a machine in my branch. When I passed a sign that indicated a bank would count my change, I knew I had to open an account at this bank. As soon as I walked into the bank, the atmosphere made me remember what customer service could be. I was warmly welcomed and greeted by the employees including Irma who set up my new account in a very painless way. The online system is not difficult at all. Those of us who are not the private client customers that Chase is courting need to smarten up and start to use community banks. I will be exploring the app, and I will be reporting back on that. Oh. At Naperville Bank & Trust I can use Apple Pay. Why would I need any other bank?

I was told to go sit elsewhere since I was not on the account she felt I was leading him. I said his wife of 64 years just died and he has dementia. She said she had his best interest in mind and I (his daughter of 63 years) was told he couldn't do anything as long as I was there. I said I'd like to speak to someone else, as this was not going to be productive. She said she was the bank manager (Ana Holinger). We left the bank my dad shaking he was so mad, and I in tears from this horrible and frustrating experience.

I had hand sanitizer thank God ...who knows how many germs are on those things, or how many other people may have already cut themselves. While waiting for my money and bandaid I waited for the blood to stop but it took longer than I was comfortable with so I asked the girl to document what happened and I took a few pictures. The 2 girls inside kept looking at each other like I was insane. I informed them my job requires extreme finger dexterity and this not only will cause a few days of pain ( (I'm sure I'll live) but it needed to be addressed. I did not appreciate their attitude. I also had asked for small bill's and DID NOT get what I asked for.
