Worst ATMs in existence. I can not believe how slow the ATM machines are, parking is a mess as well.

This is a criminal organization. Had $6000. in an account for several years, or so I thought. They were deducting $95./month 'service charges' when there was zero activity on the account. I did not receive the statements as they were being sent to a different address. Did not find out until the account was drained completely. After many requests and 'escalating to management', I got a refund of $950. They kept $5000. and would not credit it back. If you bank here, BEWARE read more

No stars!! Worst customer service ever. This place is a joke. Not too, mention their ATMs never work.

Very poor. I deposited a (valid, government issued) check in the ATM. The following day I received a notification indicating that the check was not accepted. Turns out...it was made payable to my (deceased) mother, as well as myself. I endorsed the check (obviously my mom is not able to do so), but the geniuses at this bank required her signature. The check clearly states "deceased" after her name. The check was not accepted, and returned to me a week later. I was then told that I could redeposit using the app. The app rejected the check, because it was "ALREADY DEPOSITED". I've reached out to the branch, with no resolution, as well as their corporate offices, and they simply couldn't care less. I have 7 accounts with Chase, but not for long. They are arrogant, unresponsive, clumsy, and error prone. read more

This review - all 5 Stars is solely for the manager Julian! I went in to the branch yesterday to close my accounts. They have a sign in sheet to meet with one of the bankers at the desks as opposed to the tellers. There were 4 people behind desks and only one customer before me. I was honest and wrote down that I was closing my accounts and not surprisingly was overlooked by the desk people as they helped people who walked right into the branch as well as who arrived after I did and wrote down that they had no appointment! After wasting/waiting for 17 minutes I decided to return with an appointment. Today I called and spoke to Julian, who I not only find that he is the branch manager, but that he was so pleasant to speak to on the phone, so accommodating on the phone, & so apologetic on the phone, that I almost didn't show up to close my accounts simply due to the stellar customer service which Julian provided!! I showed up in person, he stopped what he was doing and I was out of there in 5 minutes. Obviously that place (though far from perfect) is doing something right as today (two days after a holiday) had a lobby filled with customers in a land and time where electronic banking abounds! Kudos to Julian for leading such a successful team and knowing how to genuinely care for and satisfy customers even if they are parting ways!! Julian is a true professional in every sense of the word. read more

I have banked with Chase private banking for years and love the branch I use in SF but I walked into this branch to add my husband to one of my accounts and before I could even get started the homophobic attitude started pouring out of the ladies mouth. Went to deposit ( not cash ) an old money order today. Low dollar amount 80 bucks. Problem is it's old BUT on the back there's a number to call and the company says it's valid. The banker says it looks good, bring it to the teller. Tellers say that after 6 months it's too old to cash and recommended I take it to where I got it.....I don't typically deal in money orders so go to back to the company who tell me with moderate irritation to bring it back to the bank he says, "It's a check, bring it to a bank". So now I have to go back to this bank. Effectively wasting my time... I think they took a look at me (black, no fake hair, nails, or designer anything) and decided they weren't gonna help and didn't even open my account to see my history with them. Mind you my mortgage and checking account is there and has been for 7 years. I think it's time to move on. If all of my assets lay in a place that would assume I'd commit fraud in person knowing what I have to risk by that for 80 bucks I should consider changing. I can't recommend Chase to anyone. I went in to bank yesterday to payoff my truck loan. It turns out a deposit a day before was still on hold so the funds actually were not there to cover the truck payoff payment I asked her to process. Yet this female clerk processed the payment as though nothing was wrong. Kudos to male bank teller and told me day before that the payoff could not be processed on that prior date and didn't waste my time or chase's time and erp system with garbage info. Which was another thing I had to deal with post the female tellers inexcusable and unforgivable level of extremely poor customer service!!! read more

Most welcoming friendly caring bank i've ever walked in to!

I have never been put through so much hassle by a company, and without any apologies or recognition that they have created an unpleasant situation for me. Don't bank with Chase. According to them, putting money into my own account is suspicious. Opening an account with Chase has been such a journey, with an array of challenges along the way. This has been the most difficult bank to work with (I have accounts with B of A and Citibank, and have banked with Wells Fargo in past - all superior). In a nutshell: *Husband transferred funds to my account, and the account got frozen. I spent an hour on the phone with a rep, who at the end of our conversation told me to go to the branch. I went to the branch with my husband, with everything the rep told us to bring. That was not enough for them, so we had to leave and return a second time with even more documents. All of this was a massive waste of time. * Finally, when I get access to my account, I get a message from Chase telling me that they are withholding money from me for the IRS because they need an updated W-9 from me (they are assuming I am not paying federal taxes). I am a teacher, who has paid my taxes this year and every previous year. I have no beef with the IRS. With ALL of the absurd visits and phone calls just to have ACCESS to my money....this is such a joke. Now that I have access, they have found another reason to detract money from my account. Nobody has apologized for this when I have explained what a ridiculous process it has been to open an account with them (all for their advertised "coupon" of $125 extra dollars with an account). They need to try a lot harder to keep customers - I am gone. read more

Chase Bank "Known Issue" Not Fixed I paid my credit card bill for more than the "required amount" but next day noticed my checking account was missing over $2,540. I called Chase to cancel but was told it couldn't be canceled because it was "processing". No explanation more than that. I called my credit union to put a stop payment but Chase Bank did not acknowledge that. I had to go in to a Chase Bank to have someone there help change it. I was tod "Chase will keep what you wanted to pay and return the rest to your checking account." The Killer: They took the money out at 3:00 pm East Coast time, not local time and it went fast of course. Returning the money? Oh that will take "3 to 5 business days". It has been a known problem that isn't repaired and generates Chase a LOT of INTEREST that we, the customer, lose. Corupt corrupt corrupt? read more

Oh, Chase. Dear Chase. I will not go and bank anywhere else. I've been banking here for about 3 1/2 years and I've gotten exemplary service. The branch manager, Alexandra is always helpful and on-the-ball. I've had numerous conversations with her and she's always helped me out when I needed it. The bankers - Marion & Margie are so kind and helpful. Whenever I've had an issue, all I do is give them a ring and BAM, problem fixed. I never EVER have to go into the branch unless it's necessary. I love that Chase is so professional in their attire and they care about building relationships with their customers, which I really appreciate. I also love that whichever branch I go to, I find the same level of help and consistency throughout every branch. If you live in the area and are looking for a bank that's not trying to push their products on you - but help you regardless of the situation - then this is your place to be. I'm delighted with my experience here and have no plans on changing in the future. read more

Have had accounts at the Morgan Hill CHASE BANK since WAMU became Chase. Never any problems, no bounced checks, only responsible banking. Frankly I LOVED Chase as they have great employees. Just got letter in the mail saying CHASE IS CLOSING ALL OF MY ACCOUNTS in 20 days. Not only shocking, since I have never bounced a check and always kept plenty of funds at the bank. Perfect credit, so no issues there. After researching on line further, I found that this can happen at any time with ANY customer and they never give you a reason why they just send notice that accounts are closing with only 14 days notice. Employees, Marion, Jeannine, Margie and others are fabulous, top notch. Branch Manager - well I don't know him at all and clearly he does not know me. But CHASE BANK, the corporation clearly leaves a lot to be desired. They say they care about customer service, but clearly that is "Fake News". I will never forget the feeling of vulnerability and feeling as though my integrity is being called into question. On line articles show that this can and does happen to drug dealers, prostitutes, slave traffickers and the like who deal in more unsavory cash businesses. I am none of those. I don't deal in cash and am just a normal person who works hard, and values honesty and integrity. Never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined this happening. If it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone. BEWARE OF CHASE BANK. Not worth dealing with companies that don't respect you. read more

I like going into this Branch. I really feel like we get a small town greeting when we walk in here. I'm also a customer at Wells Fargo, across the street.......and somehow its not the same feeling when you walk into their branch. The reps always seem so nice and friendly. One of my favorites is Marian. He always seems so Happy! I don't think he has ever had a bad day!!!!! He is usually pretty busy as I think he is a favorite for many. I would say that most of the reps are pretty easygoing at friendly at this branch. I agree with one of the prior reviewers about the mortgage experience. We have an existing Home loan with Chase and I'm always getting offers in the mail. When we went in, we inquired about refinancing. I thought I wanted to keep everything in town with my local branch.............The rep was so busy in the break room that it took 3 requests for him to come out and greet us. He acted like we were bothering him. I told him I had heard about some refinance offers / perks which included no fees. He said that didn't exist........He didn't seem like he was interested in helping us at all. One week later, we ended up getting those offers again in the mail from Chase so we worked with the on-line Chase rep. I actually got better Telephone service than in person service! . read more

This used to be Washington Mutual. The ATMs have been replaced - which is great because they were extremely old. The issue here is parking. Unfortunately, the lot is terrible. Just last week I witnessed 2 people backing into each other. You can stay away from the lot and just park on Main Street and walk up to the ATM when needed. read more

I no longer bank with Chase as the organization with which I was involved moved their money to another bank. However, as I am teaching a Life Skills class to underprivileged folks who have disabilities, and who will need to have access to banks where they can deposit money etc, I stopped by for some information yesterday, Mr. Allan Bueno was extraordinarily helpful explaining to me how Chase can help and gave me resources for my class. read more

Horrible everything. This bank decided to give some people's jobs away to machines and we know how it is to call somewhere that answers the call with automated system. Well to force people to use the machines, let put one teller and have people in line for a hour on a Friday evening and last week day of the month. After standing in line for a hour the teller telling we are having a computer problem. No I was not taken care of. Neither friendly or helpful and they won't give change unless you have an account. I'm happy I'm not a member . In contrast I went to the Wells fargo across the street had a friendly gal greet me and show to me to a clerk that helped me with the change I needed . They charged me $6.00 to cash a check written on their bank. The check was written by a Chase account holder, but because I don't have an account they charged me $6.00. These people are crooks! I would never bank there now. read more

This branch is a cut above all other banks. Marion helped me open a trust account and it was a simple and easy process compared to some other banks I've used. Marion was very polite, friendly, knowledgeable and served me some great coffee! read more

The parking is horrible & there are very few tellers working at any given time. Going to the bank is never quick. They tried to charge $6 to cash a check and you aren't allowed to deposit cash into someone else's account. What kind of bank doesn't accept cash. Their rules are ridiculous and charge fees for everything. I only do business with them because I have to. read more

I've never been happier with banking. This bank *feels* like a home town bank. Very consumer oriented and friendly!
