We met with Albert and he gave EXCELLENT customer service and we made him do many various things from opening a business banking account( he explained so much about the different kinds), going into a safe deposit box, ordering cards and checks,etc. He went above and beyond and that is exactly the kind of service I like and the way I expect successful businesses to be run and the kind I give to my customers as well all through my life! This particular Chase Bank location is not very convenient. The ATM is positioned awkwardly on the far side of the building, which means you have to park, then walk a considerable distance, and even climb stairs to reach it. As I always mentioned, it takes one person to represent their company now it could be a good or bad experience. I have been living in Millbrae for more than 30 years, and this Chase bank used to be a different bank. Since we bought the house here, we have dealt with this branch for personal and for mortgage payments. I hardly needed to talk with anyone besides the tellers. Last week I was traveling, and I misplaced my essential Credit Card. It was important because every auto payment was connected to this card, and I just couldn't find it. So I went to this branch where a lovely person welcomed me, she introduced me to Jason Chen, and as soon I explained my anxiety, he listened humbly and let me take out all my frustration. Jason explained to me all my choices, and meanwhile, he fixed few issues right away and ordered my new card in few minutes. I am sure Jason shared his kindness with all the guests, but I felt a very personal level of solving my problem. So Thank you, Chase, for having amazing people on your team. Been a customer for 25 years . Customer service has really gone down hill. Today I visited this branch and there were only 1 teller working. 2 people were chatting in the back. When I asked a lady in the back, she said they normally have 4 but they are in the middle of an audit. She sounded annoyed by my question (then don't be in customer service if you don't want to deal with customers!) Okay so they need 3 tellers to audit. Can't the 2 that's in the back stop talking and help??? Or the gentleman at the desk who he had no customer help??? And there were 5 people in line after some already opted for the machine because they couldn't wait any longer. Maybe not a good time for an audit or maybe plan ahead and have extra tellers. Theres absolutely no way to get in touch with these people the local number never gets answered and you get referred to the 800 number they don't help at all. This place needs customer service people. You need to have an appointment for the most ridiculous things. I've been involved with a local nonprofit that uses this bank for a couple of years. Terrible service. Last year we made an appointment to speak with someone, still had to wait 30 minutes after the appointment time, and then the rep we worked with was very inefficient and slow. One of our board had to leave early and the rep forget to get him to sign something and realized only after he left. More recently I tried to use the ATM in the morning before the bank opens for a withdrawal (to avoid fees using other-bank ATMs) and the ATM wasn't working. I know because another customer couldn't get it to work either. I tried calling 4 times during the day to ask when the ATM would be fixed, and every time it range a few times and gave me a recorded message saying they're busy helping other customers and please call back, then I get disconnected. On one call I even got a recording asking me to stay on the line to provide feedback after my call, which I was eager to do, but even that time I got disconnected after the recording. Horrible, unacceptable customer service. We really need to find another local bank to move our account to. read more

The only reason they don't get 5 stars is because of the ATM location and the parking. The ATM is located on the El Camino side and it is not a very secure location. I think they could find another place to put the ATMs. I also find the parking lot to be confusing. There is a one way in and one way out setup for the parking lot which is not accommodating at all. In coming into the parking lot from el camino you may run into a car coming out the same way because most people do not follow the RULES of the lot. Just make it bigger and everything will be OK. Aside from this the branch itself is great. The tellers are very friendly and you never had to wait too long in line to be helped. Often times the personal bankers will help to expedite the line. I use to come here periodically when I worked in the area. Good staff and service. If you bank with Chase then this a branch you should get to. read more

Atm outside is constantly out of service! It is almost impossible to get stuff notarized here. The notary is always on "lunch". Can call on different days and different times and their still onn "lunch". They also never pick up their phone and very hard to get call back. read more

This location used to be Wamu. Located right on the corner of El Camino and Millbrae Ave, right across the street from peter's Cafe. I don't go to this bank alot, since I stopped using my account at Chase for quite a while. But just 2 weeks ago, I decided to come in and cancelled my account before they start charging me monthly fee. This bank usually gets crowded for some reason. I came on a Saturday around 1pm. Luckily there was on line! And i was helped right away by a gentleman at his desk. The whole process took about 10 minutes. Thank you so much! I was in a rush too! And he had me left the bank in no time, plus he switched my account to a student account so i can keep the account without being charged if i didnt have a certain amount in it. Sweet. read more

Wish I had never become a member. Worst customer service ever. I did a lease to own buy out in March for 2020 and it's currently May 2021. I have not been able to register my car with the dmv because Chase has not sent the required documents to the DMV. I call every week and spend at least an hour on the phone with no help just for them to tell me that "some thing require more time" my case manager Lewis never responded to my secure messages and it seems that no one is willing to take this matter seriously. Meanwhile I have to drive around in an unregistered car worrying if I'm going to get pulled over. read more

I made a stop at this Chase location because I was headed to the Millbrae area. Sometimes I forgot that this location is here even though it's right on the corner of a major intersection. There's a parking lot in back, so parking isn't tough at all. Or it wasn't bad at all when I arrived. There was no line at about 4pm..good deal! Haha. The tellers/banker staff are all nice and friendly. The only reason for the 3 stars is due to the poor ATM location (on El Camino) which is farthest from the parking lot. Also the lot is designed as a one way to enter from El Camino and it is a hassle to get back onto El Camino since you have loop around. read more

The people here do their jobs but they're not the most personable people ever. It's always cool to be able to walk into your local bank and feel some sense of community, but here they're all just strangers and they feel like it too. Not the best, but also not the worst customer service I've experienced. The ATM's location totally sucks. You have to walk all the way to practically the corner of El Camino and Millbrae Ave so there's really no convenient parking spot. Whoever thought to place it there didn't really use their brains before doing it. What makes it worse is that the wind blows stronger there because of all the cars passing by so it really should have been placed on the parking lot side. On the plus side, there is in fact an ATM and it takes deposits, which is always a good thing especially when the lines inside are always long, like they are here at this branch. read more

The staff here at this branch are very nice and friendly. Service is indeed very professional and most important of all, the staff work very hard to make sure every customer gets their transactions processed quickly and efficiently. There are times when the line at this bank gets long, then another window is immediately opened up to help the next customer in line. Getting to and from the bank is convenient cause there are SamTrans bus stops, BART and CalTrain Stations nearby! read more

The manager of this Chase bank was rude and unresponsive. Date 8-7-2014. I am a Preferred client. I had to deposit a large amount of money and ensure that I get 6 LLC Notarized. Bottomline, the manager did not want to notarize or deposit my check and said I dont have time after keeping me waiting for 25 minutes. This is the worst customer service ever. This Branch Really Sucks. Never enough tellers. Only ever has 2 at best. Wait in line while others complain about problems about their accounts to tellers, making the rest of us wait. Bankers goofing off and hanging out in the back room. Only 1 ATM at this branch. Branch Manager is like a used car sales man that you cant trust cuz he makes promises and smiles and waves at customers like a broken stewardess on board an bad airplaine flight. I'm a long time B of A customer but got seduced into Chase with one of their offers - and so set up an account. Since then, I've had several interactions with them. I am a bit older and the staff there is very young, but they are incredibly professional and helpful. Tiffany, the branch manager, was great and gave me lots of personalized serviced and always calls me back quickly when I phone in. Then I went shopping for a car loan and Tiffany hooked me up with Jack who was wonderful. They went out of their way to get my loan approved ASAP and redirected things so that they could print they check for me in the branch to allow me to meet the car dealerships deadline for obtaining outside financing. I am so impressed with how efficient they are and how directed towards customer service they are. I like their policies too. I wish they had more ATM locations like BofA does but I'm going to work at transferring all my accounts over simply because the service is so much better. They seem to work well together too. So many banks I go into have blanked-face people who smile at customers but don't really see them - and their interactions with one another seem dry and perfunctory. The Chase team in Millbrae work together like a well oiled machine and seem to really connect with customers and with one another. I highly recommend these guys. read more

I was really upset when I woke up this morning to find that Chase had charged me two separate overdrawn unsufficient fees that should not have been charged on my account in the first place. I've never really had an issue with Chase previously until now. I decided to give them a call instead of making a inconvenient trip of going into the branch since I had to be at work in about 20 minutes. I believe the banker who helped assist me, his name was Jeremy? (forgive me if I am way off with the name) After about 10 minutes of me rambling on and complaining about my concerns (which during the whole process, he did not once cut me off or disagree with anything I had to say) gladly waived the fees for me. I am super satisfied with this specific Chase branch here in Millbrae and will continue to bank with them. Each time i have visited i've always received excellent and courteous service ever since it became Chase. Most recently, i had to deal with theft of my personal banking information which required a lot of work to replace information i lost and closing and opening accounts. I felt that the staff went above and beyond in helping me. This specific chase branch is Wreck. Nothing to brag about, nothing positive to say. They always, and when I say always; I don't use it lightly, have a long line god knows where it ends and how long you need to get to the teller. No to mention most of the time, they only have one or two tellers. Also most other branches have business window where they serve business customers faster and more efficiently, but this branch don't discriminate, One for all. Their business bankers, forget, unhappy people with head filled with drama from home they bring to work, and you the customer is the victim if you get caught in the middle of a heated personal conversation. I really think that branch needs to go through renovation and new blood to improve. Its strategically located with plenty of private parking but what's the point when you are about to walk in into unpleasant ground. I was very displeased with the service they offered, when I cashed a check at this location. When the Banker offered to open an account for me. And I declined. Her whole attitude had changed and did not want to help me. Her tone of voice was not calm and patient but quick to answer and she did not look at me to talk to me afterwards And rushed me out as fast as possible. She also charged me a fee to cash my check. As I stated to her I had an account there, but she kept stating its not a checking account. Even tho Every other branch waives this fee as long as I have some type of account with them. read more

My wife and I were talked taking money from savings by this bank. When we wanted out of our investments because they were not producing, we were talked into staying with them. When I finally told them to sell, after we lost 55,000.00, the account was not closed and on the very next day, we lost another 1200.00. We were told that it takes 3 to 5 days before they made the transaction. Beware of what they tell you about investing in this bank. They are just wolves in sheeps clothing. They only need to make money from your money and do not care about your needs. read more
