I had experience with the teller questioning me about my license and it wasn't like she was really interested. She thought it was fake and it was very irritating to me.. I opened my account with Chase many years ago. One of the features I liked about the Manteca branch was the drive up window. Every single time lately that I go to the bank the drive up teller window is closed. When you get inside the greeter is there and I'm sorry I've been to a bank before I know where to go. I'd prefer you behind the glass helping the customers with our transactions. During my visits I see elderly customers, mothers holding baby seats and handicapped customers struggling inside. Where if the drive thru were open it would be easier for them to conduct their business. I even said the majority of people may have chosen this bank over others because of the convenience of the drive up window. I work all day with people. My time off I'd rather not deal with people if it can be avoided. Another complaint I have is the the help behind the window. I was there on a Friday before closing before a holiday weekend. 2 tellers. 2!!! The 2 that were there unfortunately weren't the best choice on a holiday weekend to get the lines down quickly. Totally amazing. I was at Chase Bank on Maple Street in Manteca at 1:00 pm. today needing to do a wire transfer. People ahead of me were sitting there waiting to open new accounts. Someone came out and told all of us there was nobody available right now, and if they could schedule an appointment for us tomorrow or Some other time? I couldn't believe that nonsense? Once before I wanted to open a trustee account and was told I needed an appointment for a future date. They never have anyone available with the needed training or Authority. read more

This bank SUCKS !!! and I mean with BIG LIPS !!! Tried calling the local branch by calling the local number they had posted. It went straight to a guy in India. In INDIA !!! He tried to get through to my local branch and even he couldn't do it. He tried calling branches in two local cities besides mine and got the same response. No one answers the phone. Forget CHASE. The only way these people pay attention is if you take all of your money out of their branches. They must not want to be in the banking business anymore or they wouldn't have a system like this. I have had Chase for years but it seems just recently this bank has just gone downhill. They seem to applying small charges "fees". I do not have overdraft protection, but was charged a fee when having a deposit and debit card withdraw the same day. They are reversing the fees but this has happened twice in the last few months. You do have to call them on it to get the money back. The waiting in the bank is horrible for the atm machine or the one teller that is working. I was dressed down due to moving and I received a reminder email regarding my business debit card. Per the letter...i only needed we to come in to order a new card. I'm torn on this one. While the girls are most often pretty nice, the wait can be out of this world. We have business account, so I do get to bypass the line and go to Merchant Services. However, they're often so short staffed that this can be a wait as well. The branch manager tries to get through people as fast as possible, but really I think it's time to bring on a few more tellers. Fellas, if your looking for some sweet eye candy... If possible I would give zero stars! We had an appointment with Maribel for 11AM. It took us 15 minutes to park. Arriving for our appt at 11:07! Maribel was with another client. After we waited for 25 mins for Maribel her first words was to lecture us on being late! She actually spoke to us like children being scolding. The professionalism was out the window. Getting through the line to a teller is the easy part... If you have to wait to talk to a representative plan to wait all day. I've went in on numerous occasions and haven't waited less then an hour with only one person ahead of me. It's very frustrating when you have to wait for the ladies to finish gossiping with each other. it's BS because I could hear their entire conversation and nothing is related to work. Your bank is horrible. I am small family business we accepted a chase credit card from a customer. The customer ripped us off and said the item was defective. He used a chase credit card and your bank took money out of my account and sided with the customer. The customer scammed us and chase did not even make him bring the item back. I recently changed banks and I am now banking here at Chase. Setting up my new account was easy enough and the banker I worked with was great. I must say my one complaint is when I have gone inside to do some transactions and everytime I go in whether it's Monday at 10am, Wednesday at 2pm or Friday at 5pm the is always a line of people and one or maybe two tellers at the most. They need more people working. It takes way too long to get up there. Once you get up there everything goes smooth enough but you would think they would have more people working to accommodate the customers. There is no shortage of those personal bankers at the desks but there is a shortage of tellers. I typically use the ATM for most transactions but when I am dealing with large amounts of money I like to go inside and deal with a person. It is a matter of comfort for me. If things would be a little quicker inside this bank would be perfect. I am going to be opening a new account there and I will update my review firther when that is done. read more

1-26-15; Came in to just pull out some money. Simple, fast, & easy. When I came in there was someone already in front of me being helped so I was waiting in line. Someone else came in after me & walked to the "business" line. After the person in front of me was finished I was ready to be called next but instead they called over the other customer in the business line. I thought that was really rude & I'm not sure why some one was called over to go before me when I had already been waiting to be helped. Not sure of the girls name who ignored me but she has shoulder length dark hair & dark/medium skin. She did not even bother to acknowledge me. I'm used to being ignored in places like this because I look very young but I am still a customer who deserves to be treated as such & to be taken seriously.
