I'm extremely disappointed with U.S. Bank and the way they handled my business account. The bank put a levy on my account without any valid reason and held my money even though the levy clearly belonged to a completely different business with a different EIN number. Because of their mistake, my business operations came to a stop -- I couldn't run payroll, pay taxes, or keep up with regular payments. This caused serious damage to my reputation with employees and partners. I called U.S. Bank many times, but every time I was put on hold and eventually disconnected. No one took responsibility or helped resolve the issue. I've lost trust in this bank completely. My family and I have had accounts with U.S. Bank for years, but after this experience, I no longer feel my money is safe here. I will be closing my accounts and can't recommend this bank to anyone anymore. U.S. Bank needs to take accountability and fix their processes before more customers suffer like I did. read more

The bank usually only has 2 employees visible at any given time. I've never seen more than that so it tends to take a while in line. But when you do make it to the window you get great customer service. Every encounter I've had was very pleasant. The tellers are very nice and get you through your transaction as quickly as they can. It's not their fault there are usually only 1-2 of them working windows. The ATM is super slow but that seems to be an issue with all US Bank atms. read more

I love that U S Bank is more conservative than other banks. They don't get into trouble because they don't put their/our money into foolish plans usually. I went into the branch, which seems to be in an odd location, to ask for a letter of some sort to help in finding a place to live. They didn't have a letter that they could or would dispense on my behalf, but suggested simply using the account statement to prove that I can pay my bills. The teller was friendly and helpful and surprisingly, didn't charge me for the printout. read more

I've been banking here at US Bank for over 10yrs. This morning I asked the Assistant Manager if I deposit a cashiers check (that is from US Bank) would the funds be released today? She said yes, so I deposited at the ATM as instructed but then to find out that my funds are being held and not released today. Asst. Mgr should've of told me to cash it inside the bank then deposit the money - instead now I have to wait?? First off ive had a business account at us bank for 10 years. I live in Manteca so this is my go to bank location. This time a year my business is on slower side so basically need to deposit checks a few times a week to take care of bills. Came in last week a tried to deposit check in atm and it. Shot me out a receipt satling there was a error with deposit took the check. So I went inside and told teller that it was a check for 300.00 and she ask are you sure nunerous to.es like I was lying to her. She needs to be retrained on customer service. Made a $50,000 deposit. Bank placed a hold on that deposit( understandable), but froze all my other accounts because they claim they have to wait for the check to clear. My two other accounts should still be accessible via atm card. I'm very upset and now I'm being held hostage ! Looking to close my accounts when check clears. Can't stand this ATM at this location it seems to be always down whenever you need it! Ridiculous! This is a giant owned bank corporation and they have only one US bank ATM in Manteca? Plus it's outdated compared to other financial institutions! Ridiculous! I have complained numerous times about this ATM and it's always broken. This is probably one of the worst banks in all of Manteca, actually I'd go as far as saying in all of the Valley. There is nothing professional about this place. The women that work in there are completely rude and not helpful. There is something to be said about a person who makes you feel like your inconveniencing them when your handing over your money to their company. There is usually no one in the place when I go in, this gives the tellers/loan officers ample time to sit and socialize about their after work lives, then huff when you need them to complete a transaction. I have had the pleasure (sarcasm) of having Veronica as my teller the last two times I have gone in. I just found out today that Denise is no longer there which is very sad, she was the most customer friendly teller they had. I've notice since the new manager has come in she's making all kinds of staff changes and not for the better. She got rid of the nice lady at the desk by the door that greeted everyone as they entered and exited for a guy that doesn't even look up. Also since she took over not one teller has called me by name as Denise and Patricia always did. I would also like to see the new manager get up from behind her desk and actually help a customer. Since she has been there she has never been up to the counter just always sitting behind the desk behind the counter. If things don't change soon it might be credit union time for me and my money!!!!! The only thing saving them is Joshua and Lori and the lady that sits behind the line, at least she still greets you. read more

I consider the handling of my money, which I work hard for, to be a holy mission. U.S. Bank fails completely. I had a U.S. bank account about four years ago then closed it because of mediocre service. They are way behind the times. At the time, Chase had the ATM where you could deposit just the check; with U.S. bank, you needed an envelope, too. There were other significant customer issues, too. I returned to U.S. bank, while keeping my account at a competing bank about six months ago because of a promotion. Same U.S. Bank, no change. On Thursday I (attempted) to transfer money to another bank. Today, I looked at my U.S. Bank account and the transfer had not been made. I contacted customer service and they said, "We don't see that a transfer was made." I will be closing the U.S. Bank account and won't return another time. It's not worth the hassle! read more

The staff have always been friendly to me and I never had a long line to stand in but I also never went on a friday. They have been very helpful, understanding and kind. The only thing I don't like is I am use to banks with a drive thru and there is none at this one in manteca. All banks had them in MO but maybe that was because it would snow half the year. read more

I forgot who the guy was that gave us our premier line of credit, but I'm very dissatisfied with his business work ethics. For one, he sold my wife and I on a deal that seemed too good to be true, a premier line of credit. The guy told us that it's like a regular credit card with monthly interest charges, but we could use it anytime we needed. So a year later, we decided to use the premier line and come to find out, we get charged interest every day. I called the bank and they informed, "well sir it's in your statement in the fine print." I can for surely say this guy who helped us was out for helping himself in getting another account opened. The work ethics of this store is horrible. Also, if you're going to explain an account to someone, explain all the details and don't rush us to signing documents. I learned my lesson with this one, read every single detail even if it takes the whole day. I would recommend others to stay away from this bank, for your sake. read more
