Michael, your Client Relationship Consultant, was phenomenal!!! What an outstanding addition to your team. We had several questions that needed to be answered in regards to changing our accounts and he made sure that everything was covered in a timely manner with ease, along with great follow up. He was very knowledgable about your different types of accounts and he double checked each item that we had questions about to make sure that we got all of the information we needed in order to make the best possible decision for our account needs. He was also kind, considerate, and "sincere" in helping us. To add, Michael was professional, energetic and never missed a beat during our visit to your establishment & far exceeded all expectations. We've been customers of US Bank for years and even though we've encountered many nice people there, Michael by far was more genuine and the "BEST" out of any location that we have visited!!!!! SUPERIOR JOB ALL AROUND!!!! Albert read more

Trying to do business with your bank is totally frustrating. I live in Manteca and tried calling your branch for a real estate loan at 209-239-4414. It is totally impossible to speak with a live person. Press 1, press 2, press 3 gets you no where, except another message. All your employees are not working or asleep. What is going on? ARE YOU A REAL BANK? THEN ACT LIKE ONE. read more

I'm extremely disappointed with U.S. Bank and the way they handled my business account. The bank put a levy on my account without any valid reason and held my money even though the levy clearly belonged to a completely different business with a different EIN number. Because of their mistake, my business operations came to a stop -- I couldn't run payroll, pay taxes, or keep up with regular payments. This caused serious damage to my reputation with employees and partners. I called U.S. Bank many times, but every time I was put on hold and eventually disconnected. No one took responsibility or helped resolve the issue. I've lost trust in this bank completely. My family and I have had accounts with U.S. Bank for years, but after this experience, I no longer feel my money is safe here. I will be closing my accounts and can't recommend this bank to anyone anymore. U.S. Bank needs to take accountability and fix their processes before more customers suffer like I did. read more

U.S. Bank Branch - Seems like every weekend, this ATM is out of order. Come on US Bank Manteca, get it together!!! - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Manteca, California

I love that U S Bank is more conservative than other banks. They don't get into trouble because they don't put their/our money into foolish plans usually. I went into the branch, which seems to be in an odd location, to ask for a letter of some sort to help in finding a place to live. They didn't have a letter that they could or would dispense on my behalf, but suggested simply using the account statement to prove that I can pay my bills. The teller was friendly and helpful and surprisingly, didn't charge me for the printout. read more

The bank usually only has 2 employees visible at any given time. I've never seen more than that so it tends to take a while in line. But when you do make it to the window you get great customer service. Every encounter I've had was very pleasant. The tellers are very nice and get you through your transaction as quickly as they can. It's not their fault there are usually only 1-2 of them working windows. The ATM is super slow but that seems to be an issue with all US Bank atms. read more

Incompetent workers. The lady's working there were extremely rude and didn't want to work or help me make an account. I just needed to exchange bills and they said a "glitch" would happen if they tried after 5. Hope they get fired so they get a "reality check" read more

US Bank Manteca Branch I am happy to be a customer at this branch. They are an excellent group of people who always help with a smile. I have been visiting this branch for a little over one year, and all I can say is thank you... read more

This bank is slow most of the time I have to wait In short lines but it takes the tellers forever. Only 1-2 teller at a time they should have 3-4 working at all times. I wish my company used a different bank as they do not offer direct deposit. read more

It's a shame that at this time with the way the world is right now that they are charging $40.00 dollar late fees or any amount of late fees on credit cards........ very disappointed!!!! read more

I've been banking here at US Bank for over 10yrs. This morning I asked the Assistant Manager if I deposit a cashiers check (that is from US Bank) would the funds be released today? She said yes, so I deposited at the ATM as instructed but then to find out that my funds are being held and not released today. Asst. Mgr should've of told me to cash it inside the bank then deposit the money - instead now I have to wait?? I don't understand -- this is a US Bank Cashiers check that was issued from this US Bank, yet I cannot get the funds?? Please explain? read more

I banked here for two years. The tellers were not an knowledgeable as you would expect. They were befuddled on a couple of transactions that I tried to complete. Also they were not all that friendly. I switched over to Chase Bank Manteca and am glad that I did. read more

First off ive had a business account at us bank for 10 years. I live in Manteca so this is my go to bank location. This time a year my business is on slower side so basically need to deposit checks a few times a week to take care of bills. Came in last week a tried to deposit check in atm and it. Shot me out a receipt satling there was a error with deposit took the check. So I went inside and told teller that it was a check for 300.00 and she ask are you sure nunerous to.es like I was lying to her. She needs to be retrained on customer service. I told her if you don't believe me open atm and get check out she said the manager was already gone abd I had to wait 7-10 days until resolved. I think that is bull. I'm going to take my business elsewhere slowly but surely read more

Made a $50,000 deposit. Bank placed a hold on that deposit( understandable), but froze all my other accounts because they claim they have to wait for the check to clear. My two other accounts should still be accessible via atm card. I'm very upset and now I'm being held hostage ! Looking to close my accounts when check clears. Their online banking is somewhat antiquated and unclear. read more

This is probably one of the worst banks in all of Manteca, actually I'd go as far as saying in all of the Valley. There is nothing professional about this place. The women that work in there are completely rude and not helpful. There is something to be said about a person who makes you feel like your inconveniencing them when your handing over your money to their company. There is usually no one in the place when I go in, this gives the tellers/loan officers ample time to sit and socialize about their after work lives, then huff when you need them to complete a transaction. I have had the pleasure (sarcasm) of having Veronica as my teller the last two times I have gone in. She flies through the transaction and tosses my receipt back at me with a half smile and nothing more. Wow, how's that for customer service? read more

Can't stand this ATM at this location it seems to be always down whenever you need it! Ridiculous! This is a giant owned bank corporation and they have only one US bank ATM in Manteca? Plus it's outdated compared to other financial institutions! Ridiculous! I have complained numerous times about this ATM and it's always broken. Plus the fact that it doesn't take cash in the ATM like other banks do is horrible. There are times I need to deposit cash and I can't because the ATM doesn't take it right away and add it to your account. read more

I just found out today that Denise is no longer there which is very sad, she was the most customer friendly teller they had. I've notice since the new manager has come in she's making all kinds of staff changes and not for the better. She got rid of the nice lady at the desk by the door that greeted everyone as they entered and exited for a guy that doesn't even look up. Also since she took over not one teller has called me by name as Denise and Patricia always did. I would also like to see the new manager get up from behind her desk and actually help a customer. Since she has been there she has never been up to the counter just always sitting behind the desk behind the counter. If things don't change soon it might be credit union time for me and my money!!!!! The only thing saving them is Joshua and Lori and the lady that sits behind the line, at least she still greets you. read more

If you love tons of excuses, late fees and horrible communication, go see Raymond A. at US bank in Manteca or Modesto. Horrible customer service! Unable to print legible statements from online. I miss the old employees.

I vigorously dispute the previous reviewer's comments (admittedly this is written two-plus years later). I've found both the tellers and officers to be very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. That said, they are somewhat understaffed, so don't, repeat DON'T, go there Friday afternoon. read more

Excellent customer service by Sophia Ferreira. She got us in and out with every question I had answered. Awesome Sophia.

I consider the handling of my money, which I work hard for, to be a holy mission. U.S. Bank fails completely. I had a U.S. bank account about four years ago then closed it because of mediocre service. They are way behind the times. At the time, Chase had the ATM where you could deposit just the check; with U.S. bank, you needed an envelope, too. There were other significant customer issues, too. I returned to U.S. bank, while keeping my account at a competing bank about six months ago because of a promotion. Same U.S. Bank, no change. On Thursday I (attempted) to transfer money to another bank. Today, I looked at my U.S. Bank account and the transfer had not been made. I contacted customer service and they said, "We don't see that a transfer was made." I will be closing the U.S. Bank account and won't return another time. It's not worth the hassle! read more

The staff have always been friendly to me and I never had a long line to stand in but I also never went on a friday. They have been very helpful, understanding and kind. The only thing I don't like is I am use to banks with a drive thru and there is none at this one in manteca. All banks had them in MO but maybe that was because it would snow half the year. read more

I forgot who the guy was that gave us our premier line of credit, but I'm very dissatisfied with his business work ethics. For one, he sold my wife and I on a deal that seemed too good to be true, a premier line of credit. The guy told us that it's like a regular credit card with monthly interest charges, but we could use it anytime we needed. So a year later, we decided to use the premier line and come to find out, we get charged interest every day. I called the bank and they informed, "well sir it's in your statement in the fine print." I can for surely say this guy who helped us was out for helping himself in getting another account opened. The work ethics of this store is horrible. Also, if you're going to explain an account to someone, explain all the details and don't rush us to signing documents. I learned my lesson with this one, read every single detail even if it takes the whole day. I would recommend others to stay away from this bank, for your sake. read more
