I would not recommend working with Fredrick @ California Star Insurance in Santa Maria, one of the…read moreagents. He initially told me he would review both my auto and homeowners policies and asked me to send over my declarations pages, which I promptly did. After that, communication completely stopped. I sent three follow-up emails over the following week and never received a single response, acknowledgment, or update. Even a quick courtesy reply would have been appreciated. If someone is going to request personal insurance documents and offer to review coverage, there should be at minimum a basic level of professionalism and follow-through. Based on my experience, basic and professional decency needs to be considered when asking documents with sensitive and personal information.

If I could give a business negative stars, this would be the one. Dishonest and terrible customer…read moreservice. I have purchased multiple insurance products through this business, and I regret ever choosing them. Cynthia Hsncock was my agent, and an example of customer service at its poorest. I recently purchased a new auto insurance policy through her. One month after enrolling I got a bill for the auto insurance that was almost double my "guaranteed the premium won't go up, this is really what you are going to pay" auto policy. Repeated attempts to contact my insurance agent (Cynthia) via email, voicemail, and a message through the receptionist went unanswered for over TWO weeks. So here I am, stuck with this bill almost double the quoted premium, which is accruing late fees, and can't get any answers for WHY it went up and no one will call me back. And if I call the auto insurance company directly it just routes me back to Cynthia's office. So finally after over two weeks, and calling again 4 times over the last 3 days I get a grumpy return phone call. And when asked why my repeated calls and emails have gone unanswered, her unapologetic response was "I've been busy." Wow. Nothing like feeling used... They got my money then apparently don't even owe me a return phone call to explain why the product that I ended up with is almost double the price of what I had originally agreed to and purchased. Do not give this company your business

Whether I'm opening a new account, applying for a loan, or just asking a quick question, they make the process smooth and stress-free. I also appreciate how transparent they are about fees and interest rates, which makes managing my finances much easier. It's rare to find a bank that combines great customer service with modern convenience, but Bank of califonria truly delivers. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and efficient banking experience.

Almost everything was accurate on all the paperwork, although a family members name was spelled correctly on a page and on that same page a few lines down the same name spelled incorrectly. Attention to detail? I had sent an email to Jennifer Gutierrez our Escrow Officer asking if I could come in and sit down with her to review some documents and make sure they were filled out correctly. Saving us both time and money. She said it wasn't a problem and I showed up exactly when she told me to. Not sure what happened, but when I showed up, she said, what can I help you with? She acted as if I was wasting her time, and I felt like I had done something wrong. We were treated like an inconvenience when we came in for our final document signing, in fact they missed our appointment time by 45 minutes. They didn't say anything to us and no apologies. When my wife and I went in to sign documents, some paperwork got missed that they should have sent to me at least a month prior to when we were there. Then they told us if we didn't get it signed immediately it would delay our closing date. The person signing is in Los Angeles... Maybe it wouldn't have been an issue if they had provided it in a timely manner. Overall, not very customer friendly or efficient. If neither one of those things are important when it comes to something so important as Escrow, then I guess they are okay. (Yelp LA Challenge #59 of 100)
