Brian, the sales manager, was great to work with and helped ensure everything went smoothly. The entire team was super cool, and respectful of my budget. He mentioned he wasn't picky about what he wanted and gave me a budget so I started looking around on a Saturday evening around 7pm on FB Marketplace. I found a lot of Hondas Civics and Prius' in our price range. I found a listing from Alyssa representing Toyota of Lompoc on her FB Marketplace. I sent a message around 9:30PM (not expecting a response until the next morning) but she responded immediately! We chatted for close to an hour about the car and eventually our dogs but I digress... :-) We arranged to come down (an hour or so away) to the dealership the next morning. She had the car ready and took my husband on a test drive. We came to a deal within an hour or so and we were on our way. The dealership is small and "no frills"...a bit on the older side. The other sales people were pleasant but not overly friendly. I was a little bummed we left with only a 1/4 tank of gas and when I mentioned it to her, she said they only fill up the tank for new cars...come on, it literally cost $35 to fill up this Prius...Those are the missed opportunities that some business make and it is unfortunate. I truly enjoyed working with Alyssa and would highly recommend speaking with her in you are in the market for a Toyota.

Rocket Town Honda surpassed all of our expectations. They put us in the perfect car, which they actually had in stock (so many other dealerships had almost no inventory), it's beautiful, and the warranties and extras they gave us are out of this world generous. Our salesman, Jonathon, was friendly and eager to help us from the moment we drove on the lot. Melissa in parts was super friendly and helped us quickly get an additional accessory for our beautiful new CR-V. We plan to buy a second car in the next year or so, and will definitely be back to see the good folks at Rocket Town.

    Horrible customer service!!!…read more I came in on 12/13 to get a oil change. I booked the day before online for the next day at 1pm. As I was on my way I called the store to double check. My appointment was booked correctly. The young lady on the Phone, who answered said yes. I arrived right at one. I walked in and saw two receptionist. I went to the receptionist that was not on the phone and seemed not busy at the moment. I was told that the only person that could help me was the gentleman on the Phone, since oil changes were in his department. She told me that he was on the phone, and that he would be with me as soon as he was done with the Phone call. I understand that there are phone calls that need to be handled and other customers who need to be handled as well. I stood and waited to be helped with for 20 minutes. I understand that there are circumstances such as a phone call that can make things be delayed, but at the very least I could have been told at least a "I'm so sorry for the delay. I'll be with you shortly. Thank you for your patience. " SOMETHING!!! But I got told nothing and stood there for 20 minutes. I just left because I could not wait anymore, and I am currently moving from Oxnard to Lompoc. I was hoping to at least get my oil change out of the way.I decided to leave because 20 minutes is just ridiculous!!! I went ahead and called rocket town to tell them I was upset that I had to wait that long, and possibly try to book another appointment. But the same young lady. Just told me "He is the only one who can help you." I KNOWWWW THATTTT!!! But again, as someone who works in customer service, you should at least apologize and find a solution for a upset customer . I originally posted a low rated review on Google about this situation after this happened. That same day that I posted my Google review. I got a response from rocket Town apologizing for the situation and proceeded to say that I could call in and ask for Wes to possibly get a employee price on a oil change and rebook an appointment. Which at first I was hesitant, but I wanted to give my new local Honda dealer a chance. The following day 12/14 I called and asked for Wes twice. The first time no one answered, and I left a voicemail. I called again and someone answered, and they informed me that Wes was not in and he'll be in tomorrow. I proceeded to ask if they could possibly just assist me to go ahead and book an appointment for my oil change. The other person on the phone told me. "I can't help you with that. That is another department. " I understood and ended the call and went ahead booked another appointment online for December 15th. The morning of the 15th. I called again, hoping to speak to Wes. The person who answered the phone hung up on me as soon as I asked for him. I also want to preface that the reason why I was so upset about this situation is because I had to go to work in Santa Barbara on Sunday the 14th and I had to go to LA on the Monday the 15th. So it was urgent to me to get my oil change. I even left my car with my boyfriend and switched cars with him for the long commuting I had for the next 2 days. So he could take my car for the second oil change appointment I made here since he didn't have work on Monday December the 15th. But again, this dealer just is full of disappointment. I went ahead and booked a oil change for the Honda in Santa Maria for Monday the 15th and got helped with immediately. I will never be returning here. I would choose wisely if you plan on visiting here.
