Caliber Collision, Lompoc, CA, repaired my vehicle after a collision recently. The quality of repair exceeded my expectations. Then my vehicle was transported to our local dealer for calibration of the adaptive cruise control (ACC) sensors. Local dealer which returned my vehicle saying all was good. It wasn't. Caliper returned it to the dealer again stating problem still exists. Long story short dealer stated that there is no alignment for the sensors and suggested that I consider trading in the vehicle on a new one because they are never the same after an accident. Lompoc Caliber Collision general manager, Austin Cox, started researching the problem through his corporate contacts who discovered that in-fact there is a sensor alignment. He obtained the procedure and the alignment measuring device. The alignment was completed and Mr. Cox asked me to test drive the vehicle to verify the ACC was performing correctly. All I can say is WOW, I picked up my vehicle about 11 days ago and it looks like nothing ever happened to my car! They did an amazing job in every category possible! My brother in-law is a painter for a shop in Santa Cruz CA and he looked at my car and said wow looks like no one ever has touched the car! Orange peal matched perfect ZERO dirt in the clear coat and the pearl color matched perfectly!!! I will forever RAVE about this location and ALL caliber locations. I've been to two other caliber Collison in Ventura county the were very professional. I was treated with respect and were very welcoming. CESAR at CALIBER COLLISON in LOMPOC,CA has no respect, very very unprofessional he like to eavesdrop and I was kicked out of the shop when going to get the vehicle repair. His way of estimating vehicles and people skills is horrible. If you want stuff done right with professionalism DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT go to CESAR at caliber he will ruin your day with his below average people skills and professionalism. My brand new 2019 Chevy suburban truck was scratched by a nail in an act of vandalism. The scratch was very deep and penetrated every level of finish and paint. We were very upset because the vehicle was only four days old! When our insurance recommended Caliber Collision, I asked friends and neighbors their opinion. Caliber Collision really saved me from myself. I removed the door and bent the rods inside that lock and unlock my door, I screwed it up and could not lock the door anymore and I just bought a new updated radio $$$. The manager told me that is not something the body shop normally does but he tried to find the part and said my best bet would be NAPA or better yet a junkyard. I ended up finding some on a vehicle at BEDLOW junkyard. I drove back to Caliber Collision and they fixed my door and now I can lock it again. After a deer hit the side of my wife's car I assumed she would be out of commission for quite a while. Our insurance company referred us to Caliber Collision and I am glad they did. They were able to get the car in that day and returned it to her exactly one week later. They actually finished a few days earlier than promised. The deer had blown out one window and Caliber's technicians got every bit of glass out and polished up the car. My wife was very pleased with their professionalism, courtesy, and attention to detail. Took our car damaged in a parking lot to Caliber for an estimate and repair. The front desk was warm and friendly, the estimator Marcus was fantastic.
