I stopped by this Chase bank over the weekend to deposit some cash. I was visiting other stores in the plaza right next to this place so it was convenient for me. I parked at the supermarket plaza parking spot and just walk to this Chase bank. The bank has its own small private parking lot but the plaza next to it has more space so I prefer that one. When I walked inside, they had a indoor ATM or three people working the window. My withdrawal process was easy, basically told the teller how much I wanted to withdraw and then just putting in my Chase card into the scanner. Went in to open an account for my son May 7th 2026 10:00am pretty much an empty bank. They tell me we just took a walk-in and there are no available staff. All the while agents are sitting in a glass room sharing instagram photos and laughing to at 5-10 minutes. read more

I only really give this location a low rating because it's just not convenient. You'd think being on the corner of two busy streets & next to some large shopping centers would be great. Until you realize they have their own parking lot & you can't access it from the other center's parking lot so if you're shopping there, you need to either move your car or walk a very circuitous route to get in. Not to mention their parking lot isn't the biggest. It's just a hassle to get in & conduct your business. It really leaves me using this location as a 'last ditch' location. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the interior is nice and quiet so it's a good experience once you are in. So, if you don't mind the location, then this bank will give you a good option for whatever you need done. It's not not my favorite. I also don't really like that the ATMs are outside and on a busy sidewalk. Call me paranoid, but I just wish there was at least some sort of partition between you and the street just to avoid the chance of someone coming by & trying some shenanigans. read more

Great team and service! This branch wasn't my original everyday go to, but after Devonshire / reseda Blvd branch closed some of tellers moved over here and followed them over. So friendly and attentive, defiantly feels like that local branch love and care like if it was a small town bank. I even got a hang of automatic teller machine for fast deposits and withdrawals. Try to avoid their peak times so dodge long lines. It's my go to everyday now and can't imagine going anywhere else unless it's emergency and I'm not around. This branch is wonderful. I've had nothing but the most professionalism from the branch managers to the tellers. My mother loves everyone so much at this branch that I am beginning to believe that she comes to this branch just to catch up with them. I have come here for all my banking needs from putting money into an IRA to the little things and love them! It's a shame that people have posted such negative things about the branch. I came to this branch because I happened to be in the area. I was doing an errand with them and my other bank, Premier Credit Union. They can do some training on customer service. There was no greeting when you walked in the door, and no acknowledgement from anyone to offer to assist you. There was no one in line at the time, and no customers being assisted on their windows, so you would think someone would be free to offer some assistance. We walked over to one window and there was a teller talking to another teller. He didn't stop to acknowledge us, so we asked him if he was open. He just pointed to the next window and proceeded to speak to his co-worker. We walked over to the other window where we were directed, and there was a teller moving wrapped coins in a cartridge. He also did not look up at us, or acknowledge us. We waitied a couple seconds thinking he would let us know he can help us as soon as he was able to, and he never said anything. At that point, I made sure to look at his name tag so I can make sure his name was on this review. His name's George and he can definitely brush up on basic customer service skills. A basic greeting and acknowledgement to a customer can go a long way. We asked him if he was open, and he said, "Yes, what can I do for you?" He processed our request, but the service at this bank really can use some improvement. No one smiled, and no one acknowldged us or offered to help us. It was around 12pm, and they are open until 4pm, so it's not like they were rushing to close. The only person that offered to help us is a lady, asian I think, wearing a black dress, who came from the back area and came to me and my mom while we were waiting for George to finish processing our request. She said hello and asked us if we needed any help.That's when we told her no, we were all the same party and was already being helped. I wish the other tellers can at least greet their customers like she did. Especially coming from Premier across the street, (whose service was top notch), it was quite a difference. That was a clear picture of how a credit union really treats their members with alot of care vs the bigger commercial banks like Chase. read more

Watch your bank account. CHASE let someone take $4000.00 out of my account. We called, closed our account and They issued us a new card, than we found that they took an additional 1,000.00 from the new card at the same location. Sunshine Food Mart at 8255 Winnetka Blvd. I think it's an inside job. How did Sunshine get our new card. Chase isn't even making this easy for us. I haven't been watching our account like I use too. Our daughter died in February from Cancer and in our mourning we didn't check it as we probably should have but, to be issued a new card and they start taking money out of our account again sounds shady to me. WHAT SHOULD WE DO . They want us to close the account and open a new one. Why would I open another account with them, so they could steal from me again. Should I go to Well Fargo or Bank of America. I'm going to other websites to let others know what is happening and to not let it happen to them. P.S. should I contact an attorney for this. This banks customer service is horrible!!! There are 6 people waiting for a representative and only 1 person helping. I have been waiting an hour and a half ; and am still waiting. This is after spending 30 min on the phone with customer service. They made a mistake and I am the one required to do the footwork to correct their mistake !!! read more

3 bankers and two of them are private bankers who won't deal with you unless you are a chase private client. So that leaves one banker for the entire store who takes forever to deal with one client? Management is pretty stupid here. Know your audience and peak time for clients and staff sufficient people. read more

They were bad before, but when I went in today (June 8, 2015) they had apparently fired all the tellers (except one for business customers only). I'm not kidding. It's not like they were short staffed. They LITERALLY wallpapered over all but one of the teller windows! I know this sounds like science fiction but... Instead of tellers, they now have 2 giant ATMs sitting in the middle of the floor. These ATMs are the size of smart cars. The have what looks like 27inch touch panel screens. The problem is they are completely counter-intuitive. (It starts with the card going in backwards and then sometimes requires touchscreen input and sometimes requires manual key entries...) Usually I prefer machines to people... I love ATMs, self-serve gas and self serve grocery check out, but these ATMs don't work. I tried to make a payment on a credit card account and the machine was like "sorry, can't do that now". I looked around, but none of the zombie workers would make eye-contact. I had to stand in the "business only" line for 20 minutes to make my payment. All the while wondering if I would be lucky enough that they would do me the honor of taking my money. (They did, but I felt like she thought I was a bonehead who couldn't figure out the high-tech.) I'm all for progress, but phase it in and get feedback before you jump in with both feet! this is one of the worst bank to work with!! I had a business account with Washington Mutual before they sold to Chase ,my account and my contract was with free management fee! suddenly they decided to charge $ 200 plus a month for account managing for me giving them money! so I closed my account and ask to get my money in cash, like I'm giving them every day and they told me they don't have enough money to give me.and they will need to write me a check! the bank manager was a young guy and completely unprofessional. when I called the customer service someone answered in India, and was rude enough to tell me that they can charge whenever they feel like it !!! I move my account to another bank that was more than happy to get my business and get my money. all this happened a while back I decided to share it with everybody today. also they trying to automate the entire system that they don't have anybody work there anymore and they can save more money on the tellers. read more

I never had problems here. Everyone is so nice and friendly. Michael always helps me with everything. They also notarize documents which I had no idea about. Really useful! They also print me checks when I run out. Issue me replacement cards on the spot whenever I lose my debit card. Can't go wrong with this branch! What I don't like is how they let so many members of their team go to replace them with electronic deposit machines. Makes the place a lot less personal. read more

Ok for all you complainers....this branch of Chase is now in very good hands. The VP & Branch Manager who is now at the Granada Hills location was transferred from two other locations (since he has been doing such a good job in the previous locations) and is handling this branch like a charm. I've had personal help from him at Woodland Hills and Winnetka location and as long as he is in this vicinity, I'll continue to go to the branch where he is. Just left my Chase Bank branch in Granada Hills. Every time I walk in that branch either Granada or Cynthia (both tellers) are actually happy to see me. It's so refreshing to bank at Chase where I know the people from the tellers to the Branch mgr actually appreciate my business.
