Super friendly bankers. They always say every time I walk in. I like that the ATM's can be accessed with your Apple phone now. And you can get 5's and 20's from this location. I don't believe all locations have this option. It's within walking distance of my office which makes it the most convenient branch in my day to day. I've mostly used the ATM's. Haven't had to work with the bankers much. I want to keep it that way!! read more

I frequent this branch often when either living in IV or when traveling through for van or RV /Camping/surfing/visiting it's definitely a perfect spot to stop and grab lunch and cash at the same time... Not super easy to park unfortunately they do not have an area to pull over and get out but if you are smart and either plan your route accordingly to drive one specific direction on Pardall you can park right on the street and walk about a half block or less to the corner. Otherwise there are a variety of small lots and other parking spaces on the streets in each direction so it just takes a bit of maneuvering to find your preferred place. Either way it's just a hop skip and a jump back across the crosswalk to grab your cash. ATMs are located inside for safety and comfort, they have one that is lowered for disability access which I greatly appreciate, and both machines unless they have run out will allow you to select your denominations of bills by hundreds 20s and fives. I've not usually seen them have tens. If you're having any difficulty with actual banking issues they have several areas to speak to bankers and I have had very pleasant interactions with the employees there. I'm always greeted with a friendly smile and phrase when I walk in even if just using the ATMs... it's really really kept cool and comfortable in there too and I would actually recommend that they turn down their AC on the weekends or when it's after hours because they are absolutely wasting money and energy I swear it was easily 68° or colder in there today and although it was a welcome respite from the sun I had to question the logic of spending money on such a thing with the banking area access gate rolled down and only the ATMs being accessed by one or two people every once in a while I think they could put it up to 72 degrees and be perfectlyFine to not make the customers feel hot but probably could save quite a bit of money for the branch and for the earth in general! However if I were going in to sit and speak to a banker for a longer period of time I would be very glad for the again welcome break from any potential heat yet I do feel it was excessive and some thing to take note during not only tough economic times but just for sustainability overall it seemed very wasteful and unnecessary. Felt refrigerated... They were closed for a while during Covid but they are back now and should be open normal hours! So for all I have had no real problems using this branch other than the inability to access a banker for some months and it did deter me from dealing with a fraud issue that I had which is unfortunate as if they were open I would've gladly gone in and spoken to someone but when I had to find away without one of my cars in working order to get to the other branches I ended up putting it off and now it is long overdue. I feel that their friendly demeanor and willingness to help especially in the middle of a college town where all sorts of problems can spring up, and I h confident that even though my problem is going to need to be escalated now with additional issues that have cropped up, I feel more than welcome to go in and at least ask for advice and help to start the process and see where it takes me. I removed a star for the slight difficulty in parking and lack of convenience for people trying to be really quick it can seem a bit tedious but the friendliness factor and the easy location that is super walkable for all of us that live nearby make it still my top choice branch in all of the local areas. I've shared some laughs and some troubles with them over the years and feel again comfortable and confident to go in and ask for help and I've gotten some really poor advice from bankers at the other branches... I had a great experience at this branch previously, which is why I am giving them 2 stars. I had an issue with Card Benefit Services and Ray was a tremendous help to me (I believe he is a manager at the branch downtown). Everyone else there was very pleasant and welcoming as well. However, I came in today to try to speak with a banker about an issue (around 2 PM). The female employee near the entrance was extremely abrupt and told me that the banker was busy because he had appointments. I asked about the wait and I was informed that it was an hour. I was originally planning to wait and come back but decided not to because of her dismissive attitude--I did not feel like a valued customer or even a customer at all. I have NEVER had an issue with the quality of Chase's service before this, whether online via email or phone call or in person at a local branch. As a Chase Sapphire Reserve member, I expected a minimum of basic courtesy from the employees there, which I did not receive. I will not be returning to this branch and plan to go to the branch downtown if I need to speak to someone in person in the future. read more

I read some of the reviews and was hesitant to come here but I was near this bank. I asked to cash two checks and the teller seemed to have an issue with one of them so she called someone else for help. When I asked what the problem was they both just ignored me. They resolved the problem and gave me my cash so I asked for a receipt and I was told I couldn't get one. I asked why and I as told because they don't give receipts for cashing checks. I thought it was strange and asked if she was sure (I've gotten receipts for cashing checks before). So I asked if I could have a copy of the checks for my records. She rolls her eyes and makes my copy. Fast forward and I am able to get a receipt/statement through Chase online banking. The receipt said the tellers name was Ashley. So Ashley lied to me, not cool Ashley. I gave it three stars because on my way out I had a conversation with the banker and he was super sweet, happy to help, and professional. read more

Nightmare created by the cheerful yet incompetent banker. Opened a business checking account, giving all my information as asked by the banker. I couldn't see his screen or what he was typing in. He submitted the application for both checking account and business credit card, then printed up the documents for me to sign when I noticed his errors. He then said he would fix it and submit again. I got my debit card a week later in the mail, still with the errors. Seriously? That's like ordering a Coke, getting a Sprite, pointing out that you ordered a Coke and your server says "omg, I'm so sorry, I'll fix that.", then brings you another Sprite. My credit card application was declined because the erroneous information did not match the IRS' data. After spending over 10 hours on the phone with 8-9 different Chase customer reps, 3 different IRS agents and driving to the bank in person (told that they could fix it if I did so, but they didn't), I was finally told that because the banker put the info in wrong, the only way I could get approved now would be if I had a document from the IRS with incorrect information on it. They made a mistake and now I'm hosed. You take your kid to school and tell the enrollment person her name is "Angela Marks", but they write it down as "Pamela Parks". You tell them that's wrong and her name is Angela Marks and they say they'll fix it. You go to pick up your daughter but they won't let you have her, since your kid's name is "Angela Marks" and all they have is a "Pamela Parks". They tell you the only way they will give you the child is if you provide a birth certificate that says "Pamela Parks" on it. Because the banker botched the application with his typos (even after being caught and corrected by me), I will be unable to take advantage of the $500 cash back offer as I had planned to make a $3,000 purchase two days ago. Now, I will put it on another card and miss that opportunity. Not to mention the stress and wasted time driving around and on phone calls. Avoid at all costs. Really nice and friendly, though. UPDATE: The banker kept working at the issue and finally fixed part of it, so I'm adding another star. But all in all not a smooth or stress free processs. I went in to deposit cash and prefer to go to a teller because I've had bad luck with the atm machines taking my money. The teller had placed the money into the bill counter but it wasn't working very well either. Somehow $10 went missing. My husband (who works with money daily) and I have counted it several times and I had asked them to count it manually. Instead, The teller brought out his manager and he had the nerve to ask me where I got my money from. So I just replied with "work" because it really isn't any of his business to ask me where it came from. It was if he was ipmlying that I had stolen it. I asked him if he could count it manually but tersely replied with, "Well the machine already counted it three times and next time have your work write you a check." He said if I wanted to double check then I can step aside while they help everyone else. I really didn't feel comfortable with counting money with a line of people behind me watching so I just let them deposit what was left. I will no longer be banking with them. There were a few pleasant people who have worked there but there have been too many problems within just a couple years and now these rude people really ruined it for me. read more
