I've actually never had a bad experience at Chase until now. So my fiancé and I decided to combine our accounts. We both have chase and I figured it wouldn't be a big deal. First off we sit down in the chairs in front of the CLEAR offices and see two employees chitchatting and playing on their phones. The woman looks up at me and I smile and wait for her to ask me to come over and then she looks down back at her phone and says nothing to us. So I've worked in customer service for awhile and I usually give people a break because I know what it's like, well she finally comes to us and I'm kind of annoyed. She doesn't introduce herself and by her body language alone I know she's not taking us seriously. Now we look young but we are in our mid 20s so I get this every now and then. She did nothing we asked. We wanted to combine our account. She created a new one and wouldn't close out our old ones. We wanted to combine our savings and she didn't. Then she said, "So where are you even getting income form? Your parents?" That was really the last straw. I was so insulted. I responded," Actually I work a full time IT job and my fiancé is in law school. We earn our own income." She left to get papers and once she gave them we left. It was around 5pm and I'm assuming she just wanted to get home, but if you're open until 6 you need to fix your attitude until then. read more
