This is about Chase Banks in general. Service is depending on location definitely. I loved how secure the bank was with my account. The tellers and specialists can b really nice. The problem is that they closed my account without any reason even though i keep calling and waiting in the costumer service phone line for atleast an hour trying to find out why they closed my account without a reason. They told me, "we have the right to close any account" and i understand that, but without telling me why??? I went through so much headache, wasted so much time to try and find out. It was very frustrating!!! so for their awful way of doing things, I DON'T RECOMMEND CHASE BANK!!! they will band u for life and not let u open an account without any reason. This is an awful customer service. I was their costumer for so long too. They think just because they are a well known bank then they have the right to just close anybodys account without any reason?? Even the tellers and specialist from inside the banks tried to help me and stayed w me in costumer service line for 30 min trying to help me find out... at the end they say they wont tell them the reason why?! This is dumb and it doesn't make sense! Dont waste your time to be their costumer because it doesnt matter if u were 30yrs costumer banking with them, they will still close your account without telling u the reason. Anything in life has a reason and this from a bank? Such horrible business ethics! They have the right to close accounts but, dont have the right to not tell me the reason... its like a judge sentencing a person in jail for life without a reason. Awful service. After losing a loved one they had complete lack of empathy. After over 20 years of banking with Chase they chose to not follow California small estate probate laws and they did nothing to help me at this location. So, I went to Wellsfargo (on Peck) and they helped me navigate claiming a small estate. The banker at Wellsfargo treated me like a human being and did whatever he could to help me. Can you guys fix the drive thru ATM already? It hasn't been working for several months.

This is the second time that I have had the left immediate atm machine inside break. The first time it ate my check and didn't recognize it, and this 2nd time (as I'm typing this now) the card is stuck with an infinite loop with my card locked in the machine. I can't even call the customer service line nor speak to staff about it be cause it's a Sunday evening. Someone really needs to go rip these machines out and replace it because it's tad ridiculous. Great Customer Service. Before I actually went to to the branch I called and asked all the info on exchanging US Dollars to euros. Yes the staff was busy and asked if they could call me back. Few minutes later I got a call back and I asked away with all my questions, the staff was so friendly answered them all and fast. I drove over to the branch, walked in and was greeted immediately buy a team member asking what I needed help with and guided me on where to go. A few minutes in line and was helped by the next teller, I did my transaction and was out the door in no time. I will have to return in a couple of days to pick up my Euros but they will call me when they receive them, FYI there was no Fee to buy euros as long as you have an account with chase (saving, Checking, or credit card) Parking is perfect lots of spots all around the building located at the corner plaza of the street. read more

I asked the bank teller for the Chase's bag so I can use it for my deposit check. The teller told me that I have to pay for it, not free. Some deposit checks missing my business name by one alphabet the teller rejected and don't want to deposit my checks, the manager came and told me the same thing. All I have to do is write another letter D in the name. Services are not acceptable with new customers like me. Asking for deposit slips, tell gave me one slip only and said one deposit one form I will never come back to this bank. Unprofessional and so rude. read more

There's two tellers and i started with 6 people ahead of me. These tellers are taking a minimum of 7 minutes per person. WHYYYYYY does it takes so looooooong!??? This Chase branch opened earlier this month. Parking: Limited parking spaces in private lot. Located in shared shopping plaza. One feature I like about this branch is that the ATMs are indoors. It provides more security during after hours when using the ATMs. Another thing I like about this branch is that it offers a drive-thru ATM. I thought this building looked cool inside and out, thus the 2 stars. Here's where it all went downhill, I went in to do some banking, and well you know how long the lines can be, I have this sudden urge to use the restroom and I kindly asked to use it. The snappy asian lady was impatient and replied hautily, "Restrooms are for employee use only! If you want to use it just use that one" pointing to a run down restaurant across. I said I couldn't walk it's very urgent. And that I couldn't walk anymore. She still wouldn't budge and was getting hostile with me. So rude! Not to be mean but it's always the asian women who are extremely rude to me. From school districts, to DMVs, to restaurants and now BANKS! Short story short, I went to the Mexican restaurant and they were very nice and I told them I would come back again and buy food. read more

This place is relatively new and there is plenty of parking. I came in on a Friday afternoon and it was pretty empty. This is smaller than most other Chase banks given the size of the land, but it does have a drive thru as well. I still think a bank drive thru is tricky to use since you have to get close enough, but yet not be too far. I already have trouble getting a ticket from a parking structure much less try to do my banking like that. Hahaha. Upon walking in, I strolled up to the bank teller and she immediately processed my deposit. While taking care of the transaction, she chatted with me and was very friendly. I'm not sure what's going on with the ATM here but every single person who pulls up has to open their car door to access the ATM. It is just not situated right. I don't recall this being a problem at the Temple City branch. And they should really fix it because what's the point of a drive-up ATM if you can't sit in your car to process a transaction? You have to open the door, either stand half way up in your car or stand up and get closer. Does not make me feel safe, especially in the night. They offer free notary services to their customers, which is nice. When I asked what the fee was for non-customers, they notary public said it was free. Since i had to get some forms notarized with a few people, I told my sister to go there too. She cancelled her account. When she got there, the manager came out and told her they do not do free notary for non-customers. It makes me look bad to send her there and she told me she thought it was too good to be true. On another occasion, I ordered checks. I wasn't in a hurry to get them but about 4 months later, one day, I'm like where's my checks? Went back into the branch and turns out the guy didn't order them. So another guy helps me and this time yes I do get my checks, BUT he never asked me what # I wanted to start with so I received about 100 checks overlapping in the numbers I already have. I hardly ever walk into the branch if I don't have to but the wait time is usually short compared to other branches. read more

It's new so that explains why it's so nice and clean. Parking is very limited due to the small lot, however, there is a drive-thru ATM on the side. Also, more ATMs can br found inside of an enclosed area, so that provides the customer with further protection. I also like the fact that if you happen to use the ATM after-hours, you would have to use your card to get into the building. this ensures that the customers are safe while withdrawing, depositing or transferring money from the ATM at late hours. read more

I recently read up on credit cards with no interest until 2018 and chose to get a Chase Slate Card to help me finish paying off another credit card before the end of the year. My first experience with this Chase was amazing! I was approved for the card almost immediately and was told to come back for assistance with the transfer when I got my slate card in the mail. The gentleman that helped me that day out was knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely helpful--however he was visiting from another branch. I got my card in the mail and had it with me today so I decided to try to make it to this branch before closing on my commute home. I arrived around 5:30 (closing is at 6). There were four other people waiting to see a banker. A young woman with a clipboard assisted me. When I told her I was there to see a banker, she let me know that would be hard as the wait time was around 30 minutes. When she asked what I was there for I explained and she led me to an ATM machine saying that she could help me try to conduct my business there. I re-explained, stressing that I didn't have a debit card with Chase, and needed to see a banker. She then told me to wait in line to talk to a teller, saying that they probably couldn't help but it was important to ask anyway. I was a bit put off, but decided to give it a try--maybe I just didn't know how it worked? The teller was extremely friendly and let me know I was right: I needed to see a banker, specifically. I told him I understood, but the young lady told me I wasn't able to do that anymore (it was now 5:52). He asked me when I got there and when I told him said they should still be able to help me and to sign up on the clipboard "on the table." The same clipboard the young lady from earlier was carrying around with her. I returned to the waiting area, sat down, and let the young lady know I'd been directed back to wait. She said that was impossible because the waiting list (in her hands) was now closed. I'm not upset that I couldn't be helped. I was there only half an hour before close--I get it I had to be there earlier, it was a busy day, etc. Completely understandable, I should have called during my commute and asked when they closed. However, I didn't appreciate being directed from place to place and spending half an hour at this branch to not be helped at all. I feel that the young lady could have been more knowledgeable on where to direct customers for assistance OR had simply let me know that the wait list had a closing time when I came in. Giving this branch a two stars, one for each of the employees that tried to help me navigate my situations with efficiency. I hope there's a way to do what I need to do with my credit card online. read more

So glad to have a friendly banker who can help me understand everything, be there to assist me in the future, and be like a family member. She's super sweet!! They have beautiful Disney designed cards, which too, have benefits!! A discount off Disney products :) While having a cute card. Takes a week to arrive, versus the plain blue one you could choose to have instantly. Good things happen to those who wait though :P. The atmosphere here is comfortable. Nice chairs. Terrible customer service. I arrived at the bank at 5:40pm and there was no one in line. The girl in the lobby told me they are closed for customer servive. When I finshed making a deposit. It was 5:45pm. There were no one in the lobby at all except for one customer in the teller line. They should have post it on the website that they are closed for customer service at 5:30pm instead of 6:00pm. What a waste of my time rushing to the bank for nothing. The manager was and always has been very pleasant. He asked a teller to help me in one of the cubicles. She was rude, short and not helpful at all. I was so disappointed in her character that I'm considering changing to Wells Fargo. I understand we all have bad day's. This chase bank don't really deserve even one star. I have banking with them over 3 years. I bring in a large amount of money from BofA to a checking. They introduce me an investment acc. After first two years the account lost so much money I request to see the adviser that open my acc. They said he is not working anymore and your acc had no financial maintaining. I ask them if I can see new financial they said your acc. Now below 40,000 so we don't provide financial service. I call in and complaint the chase bank person tell me to go to the brand and get help. My acc. Had lose 10,000. What should I do??? Also since they moved my money to investment they did not tell me the checking account now under 10,000 there will be charge 50$ a month So I got charge for 6 months when my other account never been charge. Ok....first of all, my daughter went into the closest Chase Bank because she was told they did Currency Exchange. When she went into THIS one, Raul, told her no...only certain branches. Ok...then he checked ,and went on to tell her the closest branch to do currency exchange immediately was the one in HOLLYWOOD!! Crescent Heights Area....so there goes my VERY upset daughter all the way across town in heavy traffic. Yes, I know, she shouldnt have waited for the last minute, but if Raul didnt know....or wasnt sure ,he should have checked with someone!! Fuck this Branch! In the middle of moving I lost my wallet which had my Chase Business debit Card and my current drivers license. I went in with my current Personal Chase Debit Card, Chase credit Card, Social security, Pins and emails to every account and my recently expired Drivers license to have the card replaced so I could cover some moving expenses and the fat shit automaton that calls himself a banker was able to cancel my card without a "valid form of ID" but was unable to issue me a new one because the program prompts him to enter a drivers license number or state ID number which is the exact same number that is on my expired drivers license.
