Great service and very friendly people. Parking is gruesome so be patient. Opening an account was very easy and I never have any problems with customer service. I am very upset with Chase and will follow by closing my personal and business accounts with them. I recently had an issue with my business checking having fraud checks cashed. Someone re-cashed several checks out of my business accounts multiple times and Chase did nothing about it. When I contacted them to report, I was told that the issue would be investigated but there was no guarantee that my money would be returned to me. I spoke with one of the business account specialists, but he was not very helpful. The bank washed their hands of the situation and did very little to assist me in retrieving my money. Ultimately, after their investigation, I have lost $14,000 in fraudulent checks and have lost my trust in what was my financial institution. One would think that Chase would have additional safety measures to prevent this issue from occurring again but instead I was told that checks are outdated and that there are no safety measures available for them. Again, It is very upsetting since a financial institution like Chase is entrusted with a lot of money for personal and business purposes. I was robbed and the bank did nothing about it. As of now, the only thing that I can and will be doing is perusing the matter legally. BEWARE! Anyone looking to open up a business checking account should do it elsewhere as Chase will do nothing to protect your money and will leave you 'high and dry' the minute any problem occurs. read more

I've used many of their services and have spoken with many of the employees here even before when it was WAMU. I have always received friendly service. There are new faces though. Ever since Chase took over it seems that there are more employees that work at this branch. I had not used my bank card in a while and when I called to see if it was still active the rep told me that my card was compromised and i needed to go into the bank to open a new account. I left work early to open my account and not knowing where to go i asked one of the employees what to do and she directed me where to sit. I was in casual attire so they just looked at me like if i was poor. I let it slide so then another woman with scrubs walks in ten minutes after me. I had signed first but they let her go before me which was perfectly fine. Minutes went by and they finally call me only to wait longer. Finally after waiting another ten minutes they send me this woman who looked so unprofessional and was i believe coming out of her lunch break still chewing her food and looked at me i guess wondering if i spoke english and like she was annoyed. My review is about their credit card reward program. The Chase Sapphire Card offers travel incentives in the form of 25% additional reward points if you redeem your accumulated points that are earned by using their card to book travel through their travel department. BE VERY CAUTIOUS!!! We attempted to "cash in" our points with the rewarded 25% additional points for airline travel. The amount of points equates to dollars however their cost for tickets were much greater than what we were quoted directly by three airlines which flew the same routes, on the same dates at the same times. The amounts Chase Travel quoted surpassed the fares even with the bonus 25% additional points. I asked why their charges were so exorbitant and was not given a reasonable response so I asked for a supervisor. After speaking with over 10 people in more than 9 calls over a month I never received a direct response to that question instead I was offered as compensation for my time and aggravation an additional 5,000 points. I never received an answer to why the fares I was quoted by Chase were so high. Do your homework before you book any travel through their travel department. Their fares weren't a bargain compared to booking direct through the airlines. In our case their fares were inflated above the so called bonus they offer. BE CAUTIOUS ! Do your research. read more

I opened a Chase College account for my daughter. It has been a nightmare. I was moving my accounts over from Wells Fargo to Chase and started with my daughter's account. I put a check into to start the account and they put a 2 day hold on it. Ok, I understand that...then they "extended" the hold even though I brought my statement in as well as the cancelled check copy and showed it cleared. Finally after dealing with this for hours we get them to release it. So then we go to have her tuition payment taken from it and guess what?? It gets declined - so again we have to call and get it handled so they let us pay with OUR OWN MONEY!! I figured it was because a new account so I will be patient. Then my daughter needed books. Of course she calls me and needs it NOW. I sent my husband to the bank after he withdrew $300 cash from Wells Fargo to avoid any type of hold. Guess what?? They will not allow anyone to deposit cash into the account that aren't Chase account holders. We speak to the manager and this is the Chase "policy" - even though we have the receipt showing the withdrawal and can pull the account up to show it came from us. They said they need to source it. I deal with mortgages all the time and they source it by looking at bank statements and/or cancelled checks. So in conclusion-if you are looking for a solution to an account for your college student DO NOT USE CHASE! You can thank me later!! I am closing the account and going back to Wells Fargo, where I should have started. read more

The other day I had to purchase some printing for our Fraternity, so our Treasurer wrote me a check out of our Chase account to reimburse me for the amount I had to pay. When I went to this Chase Bank to cash the check the teller ask me if I had a personal account with Chase Bank. I said no and she then went into the talk about how she was going to charge me $6.00 to cash the check! I ask to see the Manager, a Ms. Grace Ramirez. When I said to her why would I pay $6.00 for a check that our Treasurer made out to me from our account, she proceeded to tell me that this was Chase banks policy and basically "To Bad". I got on my cell phone right then and told our Treasurer to contact "Every" Fraternity in California and if they Bank at Chase to reconsider and "Move" their accounts to another bank! Totally disgusted with Chase. Took from Oct 20 to Jan 4 to get an inherited account transferred into my name and the second account I'm still waiting for. Had me sit down and fill out papers with them on Oct 20th. (couldn't mail them to me to be mailed back). When still nothing happened weeks later on calling different departments on my own, found that the papers never got faxed to the correct dept. Faxed my copies myself. Then a week later found that the papers they had me sign were missing a section. FIlled that out and faxed myself. Never got a call that anything was missing, had to call myself and ask why it hadn't been done. Still waited. Jan 4th one account finally showed up. I think because I told them I was transferring out the money from their bank to another they held up the funds to help their quarter end figures. Probably do that to all the people wanting their money out at that time of year. The second account I had to return to refill out the form request AGAIN because it had been over 30 days and they needed an updated request. Are you kidding me? Been several days since that was done and the account still does not show. This all done by the investment advisors. The money I was planning to leave there invested, I will be now taking out. (As soon as they finally get it in my name). I'm really going to trust their advisors that can't fill out a paper correctly and obviously don't care about their customers? By the way, I had two inherited accounts at Fidelity that they handled in one week, sent me the papers to sign, I mailed them back and they transferred the money. No problem.
