I usually don't go to this branch but I had business near it so I went there. The normal Setup of them needing manager approval to cash the check since I don't have an account with them happens. This time the manager on duty(Carlos) tells me I have to deposit my check elsewhere and that he cannot cash it. His explanation for why was that "I cannot tell you why cause it's not your account the check is being drawn on, but the check is fine for a deposit, just not to be cashed". Carlos made the mistake of believing that I don't know that since the funds were verified to be available and business I received the check from has a healthy longstanding relationship with BOA, the refusal to cash the check solely was on him. Seeing as how I've never had issues at the branches I've gone to before, I believe I was profiled. My bank takes too long with deposits which is why I opt for cashing it instead, but now I'm gonna have to fall behind on bills because my check won't be available until around Wednesday thanks to Carlos. STAY AWAY FROM THIS BRANCH IF IT IS NOT YOUR USUAL BRANCH. This event took place on Friday December 20th, 2024... at the time of me writing this review it is now Tuesday December 24th, 2024. Christmas Eve, and I have no money due to being profiled by this man.
