The branch manager Jen is great. I got scammed through Cash App and she took the time to get my money back. Thank you Jen!

Came in to exchange some change and was told that the roll of quarters that I had was short when the teller compared it to another. I told the teller that I always count my change before I put it in the coin wrapper. Usually never had any problems coming to this branch. Made me feel like I don't how count out change before wrapping it. If I could give them zero stars, I would. read more

I have banked at chase for a long time. This is not my normal branch. I went in with 525 euros for them to exchange to dollars and they tried to change it to $293. I said absolutely not. Then I tried to talk to a manager (but I guess they were too busy) so the guy I ended up talking to said, "Oh well the exchange rates aren't what you see on google." I don't know exactly what the rate is but I know over $225 dollars less is absolutely bull! And no apology or trying to fix the problem. Just terrible customer service. (For reference, I had a friend exchange at Wells Fargo today- 197 euros turned into $214. read more

I'm a newer customer. I called a few days ago about a savings bond. $50. Was told I had to go to a banker. I made an appt. Was not told anything about how long I had to have my account. Was contacted this morning by Makita who told me I could see a teller. Again, didn't ask me any questions about how long I had my account. Went in and was told they couldn't cash my $50 savings bond because my account wasn't open for a year. Wasted my damn time. All of this for a $50 savings bond. If that's one of the rules for savings bonds that should have been stated when I first called. read more

I always read several reviews before I write my own. There were some good ones, but far too many bad reviews. Are "you people" just negative all the time? Do you ever find the "good" in situations that may not have ended as you had hoped? Take this as a lesson. The customer service is usually only as good as you allow it to be. People are doing their jobs as best as they can. They aren't making $90k for listening to your whining. Most mistakes are probably made by you in the first place, so stop complaining. Today my wife and I were at teller window #1. I usually don't come inside - prefer online for everything. But we needed a copy of a rent check due to a dishonest slumlord (Paramount Realty, Gurinder Bains) who said we paid rent a few days late. Wrong! Check deposit even shows the creep had the check in his greedy little hands on the 5th (so not late). Anyway, JAN was terrific. JAN was very professional, yet friendly. JAN seemed to take a personal interest as to what kind of day we were having. JAN has worked there for about a year and a half (I asked), and I doubt she is making $90k. But guess what - you whiners and complainers ... JAN didn't have to be so nice to my wife and myself. It's something called reciprocity. I thoroughly enjoyed my time at CHASE today ... because JAN gave my wife and I great customer service. So, the next time you want to give a one-star review, realize this: if someone was reviewing YOU, you may not even rate one star. Do you really think you're that great at what you do? Be kinder, be nicer, and be prepared for a better day. Thanks for listening. read more

Chase Bank - The roses are for JAN. - Banks & Credit Unions Near Me - Citrus Heights, California

It's simple really - the bankers here don't know how to do their job. I went in to speak with a banker face to face because I had received a notice that a credit card was closing, which I didn't want to happen. I also wanted to order checks and to see why my free checking was suddenly being charged a monthly fee. I listened to the "banker", he told me what to do to fix these problems, and I followed his instructions exactly... And my card still closed, hurting my credit just as I was applying for a loan, I continue to get charged a monthly fee (because I found through my own research later that he was incorrect)... But at least I got a box of checks. Simply put, I don't know what qualifications it takes to handle someone's bank account and finances, but these folks don't have them. The bar is too low, especially with Chase. What little help you get is wrong and it affects your finances and an "I'm sorry there is nothing we can do" is not good enough when it was their misinformation which hurt you. read more

I went in today to get a cashiers check to pay my rent. When I walked in I was immediately greeted with a bright smile and welcoming service by Dave, he is absolutely amazing. Jake who helped me get my check was also amazing, this is the type of service I believe every establishment should have. They ask questions and make conversation and they do what they can to provide exceptional customer service. read more

Chase is just another bank. Be careful of the fine print in your account contract. Service fees arise quickly and without warning. I was on the fence originally getting the account because I just needed a place to deposit cash. USAA doesn't have any ATMs in California so it's limiting to have cash on hand. Chase seemed like a good option but every branch I go to typically had long lines and short customer service.. My most recent experience was walking in to talk to an account advisor about one such service fee and potentially closing the account. I was asked to wait in their lobby. 10 minutes pass and I return to the window to ask again. I'm told everyone is busy and they will have someone with me when possible. Another 10 minutes has passed and I've managed to write this review while still waiting... I was debating about closing the account today but this wait confirmed that I would be ending my relationship with Chase. Golden1 credit union has rave reviews from a number of customers I've talked to. I will be trying their service next. read more

This is the worst Chase I have ever been to. I recently had emergency surgery & could not walk into the bank to make a deposit, so I decided to go to the drive thru. After 15 minutes of waiting in line with no one ahead of me, 3 different tellers walk by the drive up window to get coffee. ( The coffee pot is right behind the drive up window ) Each one of them discarded me needing assistance. After waiting another 5 minutes thinking they'd ask if I've been helped or needed help I decided to press the call button. 2 of the employees rolled their eyes, like I was interrupting them. Another 5 minutes went by before a teller finally came to the window. She proceeded to tell me I had 4 people in front of me inside the lobby. I asked if they were short staffed they said no, just one person was on break. ( could've fooled me cause they we all talking with each other verses helping customers ) When I was finally helped the teller was very short with me, throwing major attitude. As always I was kind but EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. I definitely will not be going to that location again. read more

Took my elderly mother to the bank to close her two accounts. The bank had a greeter who was walking around as people entered the bank asking what they needed and telling them which line to go in. He was very nice. They had 1 bank teller open and another bank teller with a close sign. There was a long line of customers waiting. We waited 45 minutes before someone helped us, and he could not help my mother close her accounts. We asked to speak to the manager and 15 minutes later she came out and was rude to my mother asking why she was closer her account and gave my mother incorrect information. We went to another Chase Bank on San Juan and they were the ones that told us that the manager at the Sunrise Chase gave us the wrong information. Don't understand why someone that is suppose to manage people was so incompetent and rude. Very poor customer service. read more
