I called first to make an address change today and was told I had to go to a branch office to make the change. Luckily, I was jetting northbound on 35 from Kyle to Buda and found the new building without even asking! The address change was smooth even with little Rooster in my arms. For those conspiracy inspired I needed the change even when I didn't lift a couch or TV. I love ATFCU; welcome to my world aka Hays County!

So I did. I had already closed my account with them. It's been more than 6 months since then but I wanted my bank back so I went in. Well upon arrival the teller still greeted me by name!!! First and last. These ladies are more than amazing. Yes, they still have to abide by the law but will do anything they can to help you. I could not ask for better service!!! They are AWESOME!!!

As for us, we had an account here and had problems almost every time we traveled overseas, to the UK, Europe, Asia or Australia. The transaction would be flagged as unauthorized, and the account frozen. So we'd be stuck somewhere without access to money until it got sorted out. They kept an old-skool Mon-Fri 9-5 schedule, too, so trying to get these snafus dealt with while factoring in international time differences, long distance phone charges, etc was a nightmare. Even when we told them we were going out the country, we had problems with using our account overseas. Trying to converse with their Lubbock phone staff was excruciating, because I don't have an American accent, and would get a beat of silence, and then an 'Ex-CUSE me?!' after I'd spoken. I was a loyal customer doing banking with them for 9 years +…read more They decided to all of the sudden disregard the agreements we had set in place for my checking account, and savings account. No one can charge my accounts if the funds are not there ! First I was overdrafted 190 and I was able to get them to make it right I had to pay the additional 40 or so remaining (which I did immediately take care of). Then after that didn't have any issues for a whole MONTH. It went way far downhill in the worst way, and they ended up closing BOTH checking accounts. All because some website (I did not authorize) was able to overdraft 70 or so dollars from ONE of the checking accounts!!!!!!??!?!!?!?!? So I went from one checking account being negative 70, to all three accounts including savings being the SAME amount as the single account overdrafted 70 dollars. Then was not notified by phone or anything just mail that came AFTER MY accounts were closed that they were going to close my accounts. long story short I was only left with my savings account and no checkings account so no debit card usage as of now, and im still negative that same 70 dollars that I will not be paying for obvious reasons.
