Let's start by saying I'm not a fan of doctors or medical things, period.
I've spent the last 10 years of my life being poked and proded by doctors, nurses, needles, etc. They're not exactly my favourite.
I was referred to Charter by my GP and at first I was wondering why he didn't just send me to a hospital, but once I arrived in Charter, I understood why.
I was considered an urgent case; I waited for less than 5 minutes to see the Doc, she was so friendly and full of information. She was also very caring and showed great empathy, something I don't find from many doctors.
I had a couple of procedures done and at one point, she made a statement about my current "state" which almost made me faint but luckily, she didn't mean what I thought she meant and we had a little giggle about that.
After the procedures were done, I was told they would check-in with me in a couple of days to see how I was getting on and they did.
As we all know, it's unlikely that Docs will ever really keep to their word, you usually have to chase them down for everything but a few days after I left the clinic, my phone rang and it was the Doc I had seen and she was concerned about how I was doing, which I thought was lovely.
I consider myself very lucky to have had such a wonderful Doctor treat me when I arrived at Charter.
Not forgetting the beautiful, clean building, with comfortable seating areas, friendly staff and security.
Charter is an absolutely fantastic medical centre. read more
