We had a great day on the water with Captain Brian! He was extremely knowledgeable and professional. He navigated the boat very smoothly and pointed out interesting sights in the bay - including a nest of Osprey with the mom, dad, and baby. It was so cool to see them! We also spotted several dolphins along our route and Brian stopped the boat so we could see them better and take pictures. He has a 100% dolphin-sighting record on his tours! On Egmont Key he parked the boat in shallow enough water so we could jump off easily. Then he gave us a full tour of the island which is a historical site and has a lighthouse and naval fort - so cool! At the top of the fort is an absolutely gorgeous view of the bay - great picture spot. Brian was happy to take pictures for us all around the island. We even saw a gopher tortoise super up close. Back at the water Brian had snorkel gear for us and we saw lots of fish - the water was so clear. We found shells along the shoreline and even a few shark hark teeth. The best thing about this tour was that Captain Brian was so flexible, giving us enough freedom to choose our adventure while at the same time having the control to make sure we did and saw what we came for. Was at Madeira Beach the week of July 24th to July 31st and had booked a charter for the 28th, the weather turned bad and we were cancelled three times. The weather changed to the good on Friday which was our last day and we were so sad we didn't get to go out to shell island and dolphin watching. We found Charter Finders on Thursday night and were able to book a 3 hour trip on Friday. It made our trip and we had a great time and saw dolphins and found tons of shells. Captain Barry (Baraccuda) was wonderful and showed us a great time. The price was very reasonable and even lower then some. The boat had all the snorkeling equipment we needed at it was all included. This was the best way to end our week at Mad Beach and we are so thankful for this charter. read more

We had such a fun time visiting the charter finders and experiencing the dolphin shelling cruise. We saw some dolphins on our way, and got up close to many birds. We didn't see any sea turtles or manatees but to cruise out to the beautiful waters on shell key/island and then snorkel for shells, for us, was the best part of the whole experience. We found sand-dollars and lots of pretty shells to keep. I couldn't get enough pictures of all the beauty out there. Very good deal for the price you pay. The boat isn't big and beautiful, but that wasn't part of our expectations. We definitely got a what we paid for and expected. We want to do this again, but with our whole family next time! read more

We just went to visit our son in Tampa. Was looking on TripAdvisor and found this highly rated adventure. Roger our Captain did not disappoint. Saw many dolphins with babies, plus single males cruising around. Took us from Madeira Beach along coast past treasure island to a pristine beach on seashell key. Found many nice shells and swam in balmy water. This was a deck boat and we only had another family of three join us. They were really nice and very similar in ages to our family. Would recommend this trip for anyone that would like to get out on the water and see this beautiful area and wildlife in their natural habitat. read more

Our party of 5 was looking for a private charter to get out on the water and see the sunset. Captain Chris did not disappoint! We saw dolphins within the first 10 minutes and again a few times just before sunset! They were swimming right along the boat! We saw beautiful homes on the water, and rode through John's Pass and Treasure Island. It was beautiful! Captain Chris was passionate about his job, which made it safe and fun! He played our choice of music and took great pics by the sunset. It was cool to see him enjoy watching us have fun, and he even said...This never gets old...highly recommend! read more

It wasn't what I expected but that's not a bad thing. Every other trip I've done a sunset ride on was a larger boat. This one is basically something you'd see docked behind someones home. That being said, there were only 3 of us so it served its purpose. The weather became progressively worse, so we avoided the gulf until right at sunset, but it was completely closed over. That can't be helped. Captain John is kinda hot but he should have more fun and joke around more. It puts people at ease and adds to the enjoyment. It was a nice boat ride, the weather is out of everyone's control. read more

My husband and I had the the pleasure of having Graham as our Captain this past weekend and wr had the best time. If a dolphin was spotted he made sure to slow down so we could see. He was very aware of the water. Took us a longer route to avoid rough open water which was appreciated. we thoroughly enjoyed snorkeling at our stop and helping a young gentleman who ran out of gas on our way back. Every other boater drove by but Graham was sure to stop and help anyway he could. It was a pleasure to be on his boat. We definitely recommend. read more

We had an outstanding time! John was a great "Captain" and made sure to be very personable. He took us to Shell Island and pointed out the best locations for snorkeling. Afterwords he took us on a tour of the area and made sure to point out all the local sites. My favorite part of the day was looking for dolphins and watching them chase our boat all while jumping out of the water and swimming right along with us. What I expected was a boat ride around the area. What we received was an adventure! Captain Chris is the master for finding the right spots to see. We saw amazing homes around the waterfront and marinas. The best part of the cruise, when I thought he was lost, he was actually scoping out porpoises which we flirted with and watched close up. We enjoyed our cruise very much. Captain John was an excellent guide! He knew the area well, was genuinely interested in showing us a good time, and he knew lots of fun facts about the Bay Area. He took some very nice pictures of me and my date, with the beautiful sunset as our backdrop. He even put in a lot of effort to try and get the dolphins to follow along the boat. We were expecting a large boat where eveyone fights for the best seats. We were pleasantly suprised when we got there and found that our group of 4 had a boat and Captain John to ourselves! Great! Fun time, for sure! Our captain, Keegan was young, very fun, and an excellent fit for our tribe. He shared some local knowledge, made suggestions what to do, asked as what we were looking for. We were on a 2 mother/2 daughters vacation and took the Sunset Cruise. This was the best boat cruise I have ever been on. Keegan our Captain was wonderful!! He made the cruise extra special and fun. We saw many dolphins and he was able to get them to follow the wake of our boat and jump behind it. The cruise was magical and felt like a Disneyland ride! Wonderful experience! We had Captain John for our Captian and guide. What a cool guy! Smart, funny and generally charismatic without cheesy. He worked to get us really good dolphin experience. No joke, this was almost like a private tour. There was one other couple on the boat. They were also wonderful. they had the front of the boat and we had the back. This was so much fun taking a boat out to a small Island. Not really good snorkeling but let me tell you the Beach combing for seashells amazing. Water was perfect for swimming and we brought snacks and drinks for a great picnic. There were three of us and had the place to ourselves and our Captain John was filled with information.
