We went on the most amazing sailboat ride today with Quin and Ritchie. Excellent crew and great music. We saw lots of dolphins and a lot of the local area and were entertained by Quin and Ritchie.

We had a great sailing experience and highly recommend Suncoast Sailing, especially if you are looking to relax on the water with a limited group of passengers. We'll worth the price!

What a great experience!! My girlfriend and I arrived a little early and had dinner at The Club: Treasure Island, where you depart from. We were the only ones there since we got there pretty early! Dinner and drinks were great! Then we had a few more drinks at the outside patio bar while we waited to board! Captain David and Kurt were great, knowledgeable hosts! We could not have asked for a better duo for the excursion! We were treated with dolphins while we sailed through John's Pass and eventually into the Gulf. The sunset was magnificent!! What a great 2-hour, relaxing, intimate, and enjoyable sunset cruise that I would highly recommend!

THIS is the cruise you want to be on! Beautiful schooner--friendly crew. Better than expected! My son dropped his Rubik's cube in the water and they maneuvered around to scoop it up in a net! 10 out of 10-would go again!

Sunset cruise was awesome. Fun, relaxing sail trip that took about 3 hours. Sunset pictures came out great. Staff is terrific.

Captain Richie sounding the conch shell. So cool

Crew was great. Took care of all of us during our sail. Boat was comfortable and I felt completely safe. Would highly recommend them.

What a fun adventure! We booked this last minute adventure out of John's pass before heading home…read more You set sail on an hour and a half long voyage through the inlet, down past treasure island and turning around before mid st Pete. While on board they have a pirate bar with free beer, wine, lemonade, soda and water. A number of cocktails and other beverages for purchase. They also have a few snacks available (Doritos, cookies, sun chips). We brought our bag with bottled water and snacks. Definitely sunglasses, hats and sunscreen! There is a small shade covering and little seating area in the make that covered but majority of the voyage is sunny. And trust me, you want the views! The pirates Matt, Dawson and Jake were great! They played the part and were awesome with the children. They did a pirate story time, dance party, limbo, water gun fight, face paint and plenty of views. The kids loved it. If you're looking for an adventure for the family, check this one out!

I can say with honesty that this was by far the best one we've done. Usually when we do these, there are tons of people and barely room to move around. I find myself hoarse afterwards yelling for my child to stay close trying to sift through all the people. There were maybe 4 other families on the boat and there was plenty of space to move around. The activities they did with the kids were awesome, including a water gun fight, sword fight, story and face painting. We even saw dolphins during our cruise. My oldest son said it was his favorite pirate cruise yet. The crew was truly excellent and we are so grateful we lucked out and had them make our experience so special.

The folks running the tour were accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend this tour to break up a beach vacation!

This cruise was not good. First, they advertised a 4 hour snorkeling experience. I understand that…read moretravel time will be included, but it made no sense that it took ~45 mins to get to the spot going there, and over 1 hour to get back. The return trip was so slow. We were baking under the sun. (This felt like it was done on purpose so that they could kill time so we would return at the 4 hour mark). They don't even offer free water for us to drink. Instead they charge something that should be provided since we will be without access to water for 4 hours. It's a shame that they would deprive people for that long without water knowing well enough that they will be in the sun for that long!!! That's not right at all. The first stop was to Seashell Island and wasted ~1 hour of our time. It was nice to see, but it was not what I expected to happen on a snorkeling trip. So let's do the math: we had a total of ~1 hour 45 mins of travel, plus ~ 1 hour on an island that you could see only a bit of since it's large and you couldn't possibly see it all. That is a total of ~2 hours and 45 mins. Now how much time is left for snorkeling?? About 1 hour and 15 mins for snorkeling. But it wasn't even that much. We probably spent about 50 mins snorkeling on this human made ruins (they called it ruins) that is covered in moss and contains about 50 tiny fish and a lot of seaweed that will make you itch. I guess they charge per fish you see. I also found it odd that they had life jackets but didn't recommend us to have them on while snorkeling. In the event of an emergency I wouldn't trust the two captains to assist in a timely manner. Instead, they recommended we take a pool noodle along with you to snorkel. The captains were not even charismatic or gave us any talking points. There was an attempt at spotting dolphins, but that failed--probably not their fault, but was annoying because they were sailing so slowly under the hot sun. Also one captain had a beautiful accent, but I couldn't comprehend anything he was saying (the sound system was probably to blame). Sooooo to sum it all up: DON'T GO HERE. Save your money. I write this review with the intention that others think hard before they choose to go here not because I like saying bad things about a place. Thanks for reading!
