I was also surprised at what you have to go through to establish service. Since we weren't the land owners just leasing we had to have notarized signatures from the land owner, obtain an actual street address for our lot before we could get service and there's a $250.00 fee for establishing new service to any property. Once we went through all this we bought other property and sold our leased lot only to go through it again!! But everyone we were in contact with were so nice, knowledgeable and efficient to get what we need done. Because we're so rural and we don't get cell service luckily we can use WiFi for our cell service. We had them all summer putting in lines and we're told we are getting fiber optic for our internet which will be amazing since it drags when streaming.

She had spoken with the engineering team, and said they could add a second line for me. I was happy with that, but then told they would not be going forward with that due to them switching over to fiber, and the man power and time would be better spent elsewhere. So I agreed with that decision, but that still doesn't fix my issue as I work from home, and need to able to have stable internet connection. They promised that they would have a splicer come and splice the fiber lines and ONT for my home (which has been completed!); and the cutover to fiber once it was completed. Well the splicing and the ONT has been completely done and I am still dealing with subpar internet connection. And I called the exact day the splicer complete his work on my home which was Wednesday July 31, and I got a phone call on Friday August 2, stating is would still take two to three weeks before I would be switched over to fiber... Oh wait first someone would calling me to setup and appointment first... Well I hope I still have a job when that happens!!!! If not, I will not need InterBel's services anymore!!! Oh yeah I had spotty internet connection this morning, because they don't want to fix the bad lines that I failed to mention above.

In 1998, the company made a major leap from analog to digital. A digital switch was designed in house and the microwave was upgraded to digital links to provide clear audio from the switch to the remote radio and paging transmitters. Since that time, the Icom and Relm/BK radio lines were added and public safety communications became a priority.
