Pizza is so fresh, airy and crispy. Baked clams are delicious little necks with an amazing dipping sauce. Highly recommend and will be back! Note: they don't take reservations and at peak times due to limited tables can experience a wait time

Charred is always a fantastic dining experience every time we visit. On our latest trip, we ordered the stuffed rigatoni, burrata ravioli, veal Milanese, and chicken parmesan. Each dish was fresh and delicious. I just wish they would take reservations but their amazing food is worth the wait!

This place is amazing! Service is great and friendly. Restaurant is beautiful, clean and orderly, but the pizza is outrageous. I ordered the mortadella pie and I have to tell you as a native Italian that I've never eaten a pizza so unique and delicious is my freaking life. Not cheap and deservedly so- every penny is very well spent here. New customer for life.

Not a huge fan of this place. I wanted to love it, I really did, but I wasn't impressed. It took a while for a waitress to come and greet us and the drinks were poorly made. We had the meatballs to start and they were actually good. I had the chicken parm and the chicken was really thick. Too thick for comfort- I was afraid of getting a weird bite and I definitely did. The sauce on the chicken parm was good but the pasta was overdone. My friend had the broccoli raab pizza and she liked it. I won't be back

I stopped into corner restaurant- Charred Brick Oven, because American Waffle house was closed as of 3pm. **o I watched as cups were baked in circular - electric/flame oven for gnocchi and cheese. I ordered one. I also ordered a Chicken dish. Server was nice and took time to answer my questions about the oven. I found the two items very expensive. Food tasted good and there was ample amounts, too much for me. .So, a nice Italian Restaurant in Massapequa off of Merrick Road. This said, I am partial; as I guess my mouth was in the mood for Waffles- I do not expect to be going soon.

I've wanted to check out Charred ever since they opened in Seaford. So far, in the last month, I've dined here twice. Both times, I was very happy with the food. The first time, I had the Chicken Parmigiana which came with Rigatoni. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was really good. And the portion was really big. The second time, I had the Shrimp Oreganata. I've never had this dish before, but it sounded good so I decided to try it. It definitely was the right choice! The shrimp, white wine sauce, breadcrumbs was such a good mix. I definitely recommend it. I had a slice of the Veggie Italiana pizza that my friends ordered and I thought it was one of the better pizzas in the area. I'm always in the mood for Italian food, so I will definitely be back!

Charred Brick Oven just gained another fan! My cousin and I stopped in last week as I had driven by in the past and heard great things. Honestly, though, nothing could have prepared me for the delicious culinary experience I was about to embark on. First of all, during the summer, everyone has to try their watermelon salad! It was phenomenal with a unique and yummy blend of flavors. I also highly recommend the gnocchi bomb, which was one of the best sauces and pastas I have ever had! The service was a little rushed, but I understand as the restaurant was busy. I will definitely be returning!

When we walked in, it felt more like a busy pizzeria with a dining area than the trendy spot we were expecting. The place was packed, and we ended up waiting about 30 minutes for a table. Once seated, we noticed right away that the menu didn't match what we had seen online. In the videos, every pasta dish came with burrata, but here it was an extra charge. The bread bowl itself was also a $7 add-on, which pushed the $25 pasta dishes to nearly $40 each -- a price that simply doesn't make sense for what you get. Staff was friendly, but the busboys seemed completely untrained, and service overall was slow. We did receive our minestrone soup quickly, but it was just okay. The soup's kidney beans and chickpeas were noticeably undercooked. When the pasta arrived, the disappointment continued. The burrata, which we paid extra for, was cold and hard rather than creamy. Even the waitress seemed surprised when we pointed it out. We also noticed that the regular pasta dishes (served in normal bowls) were much larger portions than the bread-bowl pastas -- despite the bread bowls costing more. At the end of the meal, the reality became clear: the bread-bowl trend is more gimmick than substance. With two pasta dishes and one soup totaling around $100, the value just isn't there. Unfortunately, we won't be returning. Don't be fooled by what you see on social media -- the experience simply doesn't live up to the hype.

So this past Sunday we checked the website and the Sunday Family Day specials were still listed. Our family went to celebrate a birthday and planned on ordering off that menu. We were all seated and had started ordering drinks by that time so we stayed. My disappointment and frustration is the menu was and still is today as I write this, listed on the website. I believe the menu should have been honored since the restaurant is still advertising it and the same entries are and were still be offered, just at a higher price.

I don't understand the rush. We were eating the appetizer and almost done. No indication that we were in a rush. Yet he felt the need to come over again and interrupt to get the dinner order. As opposed to letting us finish the appetizer, clear table. And then come back. I know it's ingrained to flip tables. But come on. Otherwise. Highly recommend

We got a high top table in the bar area which was fine. Reservations seem to be a must. People started pouring in and the restaurant and bar filled up rather quickly. The wait staff is just lovely, especially our server Andrew. They start you off with some warm crusty bread and a trio of options for it; butter, olive oil and a cheese spread. We started off with the eggplant meatballs and they were delicious. Served with a lovely tomato sauce, ricotta and some cheese shavings, they were so so good. For the entrees we went for the Pork Osso Bucco and there was a daily special for a Lamb Osso Bucco. First of all the portions are huge, their "dinner plates" are really platters. So while prices are on the high side you get a ton of food; and I must say the food warrants the price. Back to the entrees, the pork Osso Bucco was sublime. The meat shank was super tender and the sauce was superb. Served with a fantastic squash risotto and garlicky zucchini zoodles, it was all perfect and I had a another full dinner to bring home. The lamb version was unctuous and delicious, topped with a demi glaze, served with risotto and asparagus it was another fabulous dish. By the end of the evening, she even said, "Goodnight, love you!" and quickly laughed saying she didn't mean to say it. That pretty much summed up the vibe of the night friendly, relaxed, and memorable. The food was excellent from start to finish. I had the Caesar salad appetizer, which was very good, and my sister had the calamari, which she said was excellent. For our entrées, we both ordered the chicken parmesan with alavaca sauce, and it was absolutely delicious. To finish the night, we shared the crème brûlée for dessert, and it was the perfect treat. The portion is definitely big enough for two people, so I wouldn't recommend ordering one per person. The location is beautiful and right by the water true to the restaurant's name. The only small thing to note is the parking. There are two parking lots, and the first one is definitely the better option. The Picasso was a nice size, but the sandwich lacked a little seasoning and needed a little more balsamic. It felt kind of dry. For cocktails we got the strawberry lemon drop, it tasted a little medicinal and the cucumber lime spritz type drink(I can't recall the exact name). This one was very good.
