I initially intended to buy waistbeads from another local vendor, but they made it so difficult to find out where they were vending. But... everything happens for a reason. Determined to get me some brand new waistbeads, I did quick Google search and Fablane Jewels popped up as one of the top vendors in the area. The shop was a delightful collection of spiritual and mystical things. Palo Santo. Sage bundles. Candles. Oils. Jewelry and accessories. Crystals and stones. And of course, waistbeads. There were so many to choose from, lots of different colors and patterns and adornments, and the price was more than reasonable. I ended up buying two strands, both with red beads, but with two different sets of stones adorning them. Shelly walked me through her intention behind the choices of stones, then we set an intention and an affirmation over the beads before applying them. This was more than just getting some jewelry. This felt...sacred. Meaningful. Intentional. Everything happens for a reason. I came for waistbeads and ending up spending almost 2 hours chatting with this kind soul. She wven taught me a more effective way to light my Palo Santo, and introduced me to the spray version for those places or moments where lighting it isn't an option but I still need some "spiritual sanitizer". Shelly also provides services such as reiki and yoni steam which may affect the shop's hours of operation to ensure maximum privacy and attention to clients receiving these services. I walked in there early on a Friday in hopes of getting a candle as a gift for a friend. The woman behind the desk was talking at full volume about another employee she said has "bad vibes", and did not greet me. I don't claim to know the whole story, but this woman was going on and on about this other employee in such a negative manner, i coughed to let her know i was there, hoping maybe she hasn't seen me come in. She continued on gossiping and degrading this other employee behind her back. She also mentioned something about Santeria and cursing people. Wtf?!? When i approached the desk to ask her the price of a candle, she threw on a very cheery tone and immediately offered me a tarot reading. Why would i want a reading from someone who was just loudly gossiping about someone? The woman then offered to bless the candle for me! No thanks! I am telling you.... This lady has bad energy. The only reason i gave two stars is because the incense selection was super awesome. I think the owner should look into who is doing readings there because this lady had the most pious and holier than thou attitude I've come across in a while.
