Laura has been my stylist number of beers. She does a great job of coloring. And advising recommending what to do with my hair. I've had it short, I've grown it out, and now I am considering a different style. Laura is great at explaining the care involved with style and advising whether or not it will look good. Over the years this salon has changed names a few times, but the stylists and service has remained excellent! Previously it was Alexander Thomas Salon and most of the stylists stayed with Charm Studio. My stylist stayed and I have been here twice since the change. There were some changes inside and the new look is great! There is a Keurig with coffee and hot tea k-cups in the front next to the receptionist's desk, which is really nice. I get my hair colored and cut by Sandy and I always leave very happy! She is great at what she does and I have never had a bad hair experience with her. She has done my hair for dances in high school as well as times when I was a bridesmaid and also for my own wedding! Whenever I get my hair colored or cut she does a great job and I always get a lot of compliments from friends and even strangers! I highly recommend Sandy and Charm Studio! read more

I spoke with a friend on social media about needing my hair done... it had been two years. She recommended a person who wasn't available but I can't get a sitter often so I was obliged at an offer for one. I called made an appointment and came but left unhappy. I asked for partial highlights ... I said a friend told me about the place and hat I wanted a looking for a new place to be loyal to. I was offered a 25% discount bc of a referral and she would receive the same. I thought that was pretty awesome.. at first. I arrive at 11:15 and by 11:58 I had my person starting to begin combing and drying my hair for a finish... it looked he same as when I walked in. She foiled and put me under heat and removed them within 45 minutes. The only difference was a yellower tint to my hair but everything was the same. I stood up and showed her. I have pictures to show that. She said yea I need to add a few more I said no the whole thing needs to be redone. She left the foils on my hair for approx. 10/15 mins. So once I said something and I was not happy she redid the whole process said I'm putting you under heat for 15 more minutes then quickly brushed me aside for her haircut appt that was next. She came to check on me and said it's been fifteen minutes but I'll let it sit more it's def getting blonde. During the 2nd application I have video of her jerking my head. Owner ? Check your cameras - I jerked at my head twice. She was smacking the foils against my bad and pulling my hair harshly with the combing while foiling. She had an attitude bc she didn't do the correct process and tried to rush it ... I didn't need a discount and for 90 dollars I could have had better service color and treatment ... I stood up when I wasn't happy with a manager I was told privately was actually an owner later on who never once checked to see what was going on. I love my friend. The person she had may be great. I'll mever return. She blow dried my hair flat not even completely dry my shirt was soaked down my neck to leave in freezing weather and not much remorse for not doing her job properly I was scared until the end I left bc it was atleast enough to live with. I tipped five dollars out of respect and bc of my character but she does not need to be doing hair guys. Horrible job. My highlights are not even. My small side is bright blonde and the pull over side roots are dark then blonde ... It is not proper hair procedure to process someone's hair twice esp for just fifteen minutes on a highlight Please do better I don't get to do this often it's Valentine's Day tomorrow no saving day I am so heart broken read more

I first went to Charm Studio over a year ago for a cut and glaze with Katie. My hair came out great and Katie did a beautiful job with blowing it out. Katie sadly left the salon a few months later but referred me to Victoria who also did a gorgeous job. The price is excellent and you can't ask for a nicer staff. Give them a try! read more

I feel very awful that I have to write a bad review but I feel it is needed. This was my first ever hair coloring experience and after this I don't think I ever want to mess with my hair ever again. I came into this salon very excited and nervous to get balayage for the very first time. I heard about this salon from people I knew that got haircuts around my area. They gave me this hairstylist named Kelly. I showed a picture of how I wanted my hair to look and she didn't meet my expectations at all. I cried my eyes out when I saw it and she didn't even say sorry or even acknowledge my obvious discomfort. My chocolate brown hair is now turned into this brassy brown color. I wish I never even tried to dye my hair and I am counting down the days until this grows out. She tried to fix it but it is nowhere near the original picture I showed her. I'm not saying don't go here, but maybe try someone else or don't get balayage. read more

I've been going to charm studio since they opened last year. I can confidently say all of the stylists are talented and professional. I had Victoria do my hair on my wedding day and Melissa did my makeup. Almost all of my female guests that day asked where I got it done. Reasonably priced and they offer such a variety of services.
