Amy was instrumental in my daughter finding a grant to help pay closing costs! Of course, when it came time for us to find a lender, Amy was our first call! We've had a nightmare experience working with other lenders, but Amy Brazil and her team is a DREAM!!! Our experience is what a buyer would wish for! From day one when we were shopping lenders, Amy was responsive and helpful, providing us with tools to navigate the lending process, & we appreciated how connected she was to us. Amy also made it easy to choose her over the other lenders by matching their rates and even beating their fees! Once in the process, she continued to stay connected and was always available to answer questions or provide information. She stayed on top of the market & when the rate dropped, she was on it to make sure we locked in to the best rate. She goes above and beyond, even showing up to our closing to congratulate us and be there to ensure the paperwork was correct & answer any questions we may have. She has ours & our families business for life!

Wife solely approved for over $500k mortgage on $80k income. Informed we were using a 401k loan for down payment and mortgage officer ran the numbers in a manipulative way without regard to current expenses and assumption of sale on home not yet listed. Assumed the loan was a 401k disbursement, not what discussed. We did the loan and if defaulted would pay a 20% tax penalty and the deferred savings become income for the year, pushing income tax rate to 39.6%. Potential $80k tax penalty. We did not want this. Non responsible person throws away decades of savings for retirement. With the 401k loan, our existing mortgage and the new mortgage, those costs alone exceed her entire monthly income. Spouse recently retired from working. Sale of his "family" home potentially used to approve loan as the assets from sale would reduce mortgage. Home not yet for sale. It's Autumn, schools already in session, unlikely to sell for months unless deeply discounted. We informed the loan officer we need to pay the 401k loan from home sale proceeds. Appear to have been ignored to get maximum approval numbers. With Axia officer mortgage we would have had a 401k loan, an existing mortgage and a new mortgage exceeding 100% of gross income. Could not pay the 2 mortgages ($1800 1st; $2400 new) and an $1800/mo 401k loan at the same time. Even a few months would financially destroy our family. Potentilly leaving us homeless and with huge tax bills. Shame on you Axia. WHISKEY, TANGO, FOXTROT. Destructive. Fast and efficient in documents but much more needed when a clients life savings and future housing is involved. We felt manipulated, misdirected, lied to, ignored and set up for financial ruin. Beware of this predatory lender who seems to ignore clients input and provide maximum mortgage amounts for his commissioned pockets without regard to the consequences for the client.

To repeat the other reviewers, I took a chance with Mann Mortgage based on Yelp reviews and came…read moreout feeling like I won the jackpot. What an incredible experience with a flawless performance from Mike Richardson. I forayed into the home buying world once before and backed out after the mortgage company recommended by my realtor was terrible. It gave me the impression that the mortgage process was terrible, complicated, and ruthless. When my wife and I wanted to try again, we decided to do our own research and found Mike from Mann Mortgage. After your first conversation with Mike you'll know you made the right choice. The pre-approval process was fast and easy. Mike gets you a number and gives you phenomenal breakdowns of what you want to aim for based on what you're looking to spend. Everything is transparent and he happily guides you through everything every step of the way. Getting an offer accepted on a house was easily the hardest part of the process, but throughout that entire time it was Mike that reassured us and guided us to our dream home (and made up for our realtors being pretty all over the place). Even though we had a bit of a complicated mortgage (VA loan plus it was a probate sale), Mike never missed a beat. If anything, he held the deal together where the realtors (on both sides) and the title company repeatedly dropped the ball. He was the one person we could trust implicitly was working tirelessly for us and making sure we were taken care of as thoroughly as possible. Couple this with the fact that my wife and I were both irritable and impatient, and he had more than a few hurdles to overcome. Mike also nailed it when it came to closing. We were getting uncomfortably close to the end of our lease as the contractors hired by the selling agent needed multiple attempts to make simple repairs. When it was all finally taken care of and Mike could move forward- boy did he ever. All the realtors and the title company were as surprised as they were impressed with the speed of funding the loan and having the paperwork ready and flawlessly completed. I'm not sure how much money Mike made on this sale, but it likely wasn't enough. He was the driving factor behind getting us into the exact house we wanted. I still can't believe how easy it was to work with him, and how extremely capable he is. I cannot fully express my gratitude to Mike for everything he did for us. Oh, and for vets- Very, very, very military friendly. Mike is genuinely passionate about supporting and helping military veterans. Summary: Please do yourself a favor and go talk to Mike Richardson. Do it before the secret gets out and he has too many clients. I lack the ability to even imagine a better mortgage agent.

NEVER AGAIN!!! Big disappointment!…read more At first Cory was all friendly like "How can I earn you business?" So, I took a chance with them and they did lock in a decent rate. They gave us a long list of financial info they needed. We gave it ALL to them way ahead because I know, once we're in the middle of packing, moving, changing addresses, scheduling closings, driving etc, I don't want to have to worry with those details. Then Mann Mortgage - Michelle and the underwriters - USED the closing deadline to leverage demanding more and more information, trivial crap, all items WAY BEYOND what they originally said they needed. And here's the thing, my wife and I have a strong income, a long history of success, and high credit score!!! They actually called my wife's employer THREE TIMES (to her employer's disbelief) to confirm she worked there and her salary. REALLY? Oh, but it gets worse... Mann Mortgage then did what all the shady mortgage companies do: We were almost at closing, we're immersed in all the demands of moving, staying in a hotel before closing, driving long distances, and suddenly Michelle is like, "Oh, we need one more thing!" Ugh. So we got it to them. Then, "No, we need one MORE thing." So, again we deliver. Then, "Oh, we need one more thing!" Yet again, I deliver taking time away from helping my wife with moving details and I confirmed with Michelle, "OK...this is ALL YOU NEED, RIGHT? After this it's done, right?" And Michelle said, "Definitely, that's it." Then she comes back AGAIN demanding something else!!! And worse, she used the "It's not me, it's the underwriters" BS, piss-poor excuse, just like used car salesmen blaming the sales manager when really they're all on the same team and know exactly what they're doing. Mann Mortgage didn't "serve" us, they "played" us. Michelle, Cory and the whole company made this process a distressing, painful, frustrating experience and trust me, they knew EXACTLY what they were doing the whole time. It's dishonest. It's bad business. And it's part of their plan. And to top everything off, as Michelle was making all these FURTHER demands I finally reached out to Cory, their "kind" salesperson explaining what was happening, expressing my disappointment and asking for some help and his exact and complete response was a text saying, "Thank you for your feedback." In other words, "F-you." (He has some personal work to do). If my review can save ANYONE the pain and hassle of working with Mann Mortgage, the time I've taken to explain this will not be in vain. DO NOT HIRE MANN MORTGAGE. If they approach do not walk away, RUN!!! .

After speaking to Andrew, we decided to go ahead and use them. But Andrew had no contact with us once we started the process. We spoke to another person that wasn't even in the same state (she was great though). Eventually, we pulled out of building the house and bought a different house (not from the builder). We later found out that Andrew was related to the builder yet it was not disclosed. Had it been known, we would not have used them. We wound up having a ton of issues toward the end of closing. A LOT. There were a lot of mistakes that even the title company had to straighten some out. And the out of state lender calculated CA % taxes. Our realtor requested them to change it and showed them official NV tax for the house yet they never changed it. Our mortgage payment is affected by that. (We know eventually it'll be reassessed). We would've changed lenders had we had the time but all these mistakes happened within weeks of closing. It was too late to switch. We tried contacting Andrew via text, email and phone calls during the weeks leading to closing but to this day, he has not returned our messages.
