Amanda Rea and her team are consummate professionals. We were introduced to Amanda & Guild by a friend of ours. We were hoping to have a simple mortgage transaction with no hassles, and this was one. From the first meeting until closing, every interaction was easy and simple. We had absolute peace of mind throughout. Their rates, valuations, communication and the professionalism of every interaction was outstanding. They even would send us a video at the end of the day to show how we were progressing with our loan. I would heartily recommend Guild Mortgage to anyone who would like to treated like royalty. read more

We had a crazy situation. Two different home buyers, a previous home being turned into a rental, a recent refinance and a whole lot of other complications. Amanda and her team tackled the problems and while it was certainly a hard battle, we were able to get approved, funded and moved in. Without Amanda and her teams support we would likely still be trying to find a new home. I would highly recommend Amanda and her team over at guild mortgage for being not only proactive problem solvers but also flexible in working with our work schedules to ensure everything got taken care of on time. read more

Amanda's team is THEE best in town. A year ago, I was directed by my realtor to see Amanda for any luck on purchasing a home; unfortunately it didn't work out BUT Amanda broke down every factor that needed improvement in order for me to get pre approved. A year later I've gotten approved for a great amount and was able to purchase a home within the month! Shout out to Jermiah who was also a big help in the team. Honestly, this team is genuine and committed to helping first time home buyers. read more

As a first time homebuyer Amanda and her team made getting through the loan process very easy. She was able to help us get the loan that we could afford. Initially, we didn't think that we qualified for a loan, but after some discussion, we found out that we also qualified for some grants. Amanda and her team were timely and a joy to work with. When we took our kids there, we told them that mom and dad had to go to do some boring things at a boring place (I am not sure how I would have described signing paperwork any better), but afterwords, my daughter asked to go back to the boring place because she had fun. read more

Working with Amanda and her team was an absolute pleasure. This was not the first home I have purchased in my life, but while I cannot tell you who my loan agent was in the past, I am sure to remember Amanda and her team. They were great to work with the whole time, communicated amazingly for everything they would need during the whole process and made the experience of buying a home feel like it was far less stressful than it would have been anywhere else. They were able to get us the loan we needed and managed each hiccup along the way with very little stress and anxiety. I would Amanda to anyone who is looking to purchase a home. read more

This is the second loan that I have done with Amanda and the Rea Team. Each time they have been more than just a great company to work with, they have been just a powerhouse of knowledge and professionalism. I would highly recommend that you start your own loan process off right and give Amanda a call. Her wealth of knowledge about the process and the way she and her team will expedite things will show you what myself and all of the reviews are telling you. Thank you Amanda, Kim and Mike ! Buying our first home was by far one of the EASIEST things we have ever done and all because of Amanda at Guild Mortgage. She was incredibly efficient, knowledgeable, and easily accessible for questions. We weren't even in the same state, yet it couldnt have gone any smoother. Thanks, Amanda!! read more

Amand Rea and her team were great! Let me tell you how it was for us. My husband and I decided to buy a manufactured home ( a lengthy very patient and slow process) The first meeting with guild we were not in a state to be approved but with some guidance from the team on what we needed to work on we got in fighting order and even got pre approvals from a few companies. We liked the interactions with guild they didn't feel pushy and always felt genuinely concerned and interested. After that we were able to pick our house this is the part of the story where we did A LOT OF WAITING that was part of the manufactured home process not the loan process! Once the home was finished. Finally! We got down to business on the final stuff Guild walked us through everything they needed the open communication was great and they always answered our ENDLESS questions, sometimes embarrassingly Clueless we never felt out of the loop! I would work with Guild again in a heartbeat. We seriously closed in less than two weeks once our house was finished and appraised we are so extremely thankful for how hard they worked for us! read more

Amanda Rea helped my husband and I throughout our new build process. She absolutely knows her stuff. Besides the waiting for our house to be done, the process was seem less because of her and her amazing team. read more

They were persistent with getting our information at first, until there was a problem. Then we did not hear from Amanda or Jess again. When we were attempting to just get some information before deciding on a lender, they ran our credit with a hard credit check without permission. When we asked to get it removed she tried to push us to work with what we got from her mistake even though we knew we weren't ready yet. After requesting it to be undone we have not heard any updates of the process and gotten no response when we have reached out. This affected my credit score and caused it to be lowered significantly when I went to apply with another lender who would work with our situation more. read more

This is the easiest, most seamless, and trouble free mortgage process I have ever had. We were presented with a list of required documentation, we had a personal appointment with Amanda, we reviewed all the requested documents and we were done. All we had left to do was the signing. Amanda did mention a gift which we never did receive but we love our new home and Amanda and her entire team made the entire process so effortless. The entire team is extremely professional and very well organized. I am simply delighted with my experience with Guild Mortgage, Amanda Rea, and her entire team. read more

Amanda handed our home mortgage, which was a bit challenging due to the fact I'm a business owner and not an employee with a W-2. Then, about a year later, thanks to the increase in home values, we re-financed so we could get rid of PMI. That went smoothly, actually closing today. I'm happy to recommend her and team for your mortgage needs. read more

This was my first home purchase, and I should mention that I was terribly nervous going in. I'm a single mom of two, with something of a checkered history when it came to finances. My oldest suffered a major illness as a small child so it took years for us to rebound financially. There was a time when we were in such a dire financial situation that I could not have financed a Happy Meal, so as you might imagine I was leery going in about making sure that I was as informed as possible about exactly what I was getting myself into. Amanda and her team could not have been more helpful or understanding. It was genuinely the smoothest home purchase possible, even for a first-time, anxiety-ridden buyer like myself. She was great about timely communication, explained everything I needed to know in depth, and made sure that the process was ridiculously easy. Thank you Amanda, Kimberly & Shannon for helping my little family get into a home of our own. People in my position often don't get to become homebuyers, so I'm very grateful for your help and knowledge. read more

Amanda and we team were extremely responsive to all of my emails and calls leading up to our appointments and interactions. They provided me with a clear and concise list of documentation to bring in and always offered us snacks and water during our office visits! They even gave us some fun and creative goodies along the way through the loan process. Amanda and her team were ALWAYS there to answer my calls, never failed to answer a question or concern, and did all of that with a beaming smile! My husband and I are relatively new to Reno, having only lived here as summer residents. But we soon fell in love with Reno and decided to move here full time. First stop, a great realtor which we found, Cindy Brenner. And after finding the perfect home, she recommended a lender. Not just any lender. She highly recommended Amanda Rae with Guild Mortgage. And we soon found out why. Over our lifetime, we have purchased and sold several homes. Some of those experiences were better than others, but none were praiseworthy. That is until we worked with Amanda Rae and her team at Guild Mortgage. From our initial conversation to closing, Amanda and her team provided unparalleled customer service and professionalism. Immediately following our telephone conversation with Amanda, we received a welcome email from her with a process map, "What Happens During the Loan Process" - a quick way to better understand what to expect. This document is invaluable! It was our road map of what we would expect during the loan process and when. This was followed by an email from one of Amanda's team members with a list of documents we needed to bring with us to our meeting with Amanda. We were prepared. Our meeting with Amanda set the tone for the rest our experience. Not only is she knowledgeable and confident in her lending experience, she has the innate ability to weave in humor with her professional acumen (e.g. the Mortgage Survival Kit, Ten Commandments for Homebuyers, and by asking serious questions followed by a lighthearted one). This made for a pleasant foundation and ultimately helped take the stress out of a stressful event. After we completed the application process, we were seamlessly transitioned to working with two of her team members. Again, we were met with the same professionalism, responsiveness and proficiency. Directions throughout the process were always clear and concise, and I never had to perform an action twice due to uncertainty or ambiguity. The progression was extremely efficient, beginning with the process map to the end - closing, with all actions complete a couple of weeks prior to our closing date. Important to note is, that while we were approved and "waiting to close", Amanda and her team followed up with us on a regular basis to just "touch base". So, if you are looking for a loan officer, look no further - Amanda Rae is your best choice. read more

Amanda and her team were the raddest ever. I had heard nightmares about going through the process and they made it painless. I mean mean so super painless that I was astonished. It was pretty simple. Provide them with what they need and they take care of the rest. I expressed that I wanted an early close and they did everything to help that happen and it worked out great! They called me at least once a week to give me updates and they were timely with their estimates on when things would be ready. It was great.
