    NEVER AGAIN!!! Big disappointment!…read more At first Cory was all friendly like "How can I earn you business?" So, I took a chance with them and they did lock in a decent rate. They gave us a long list of financial info they needed. We gave it ALL to them way ahead because I know, once we're in the middle of packing, moving, changing addresses, scheduling closings, driving etc, I don't want to have to worry with those details. Then Mann Mortgage - Michelle and the underwriters - USED the closing deadline to leverage demanding more and more information, trivial crap, all items WAY BEYOND what they originally said they needed. And here's the thing, my wife and I have a strong income, a long history of success, and high credit score!!! They actually called my wife's employer THREE TIMES (to her employer's disbelief) to confirm she worked there and her salary. REALLY? Oh, but it gets worse... Mann Mortgage then did what all the shady mortgage companies do: We were almost at closing, we're immersed in all the demands of moving, staying in a hotel before closing, driving long distances, and suddenly Michelle is like, "Oh, we need one more thing!" Ugh. So we got it to them. Then, "No, we need one MORE thing." So, again we deliver. Then, "Oh, we need one more thing!" Yet again, I deliver taking time away from helping my wife with moving details and I confirmed with Michelle, "OK...this is ALL YOU NEED, RIGHT? After this it's done, right?" And Michelle said, "Definitely, that's it." Then she comes back AGAIN demanding something else!!! And worse, she used the "It's not me, it's the underwriters" BS, piss-poor excuse, just like used car salesmen blaming the sales manager when really they're all on the same team and know exactly what they're doing. Mann Mortgage didn't "serve" us, they "played" us. Michelle, Cory and the whole company made this process a distressing, painful, frustrating experience and trust me, they knew EXACTLY what they were doing the whole time. It's dishonest. It's bad business. And it's part of their plan. And to top everything off, as Michelle was making all these FURTHER demands I finally reached out to Cory, their "kind" salesperson explaining what was happening, expressing my disappointment and asking for some help and his exact and complete response was a text saying, "Thank you for your feedback." In other words, "F-you." (He has some personal work to do). If my review can save ANYONE the pain and hassle of working with Mann Mortgage, the time I've taken to explain this will not be in vain. DO NOT HIRE MANN MORTGAGE. If they approach do not walk away, RUN!!! .

    Honesty, the mortgage process did not go very well at all. It seemed like every day another issue…read morewould come up to hinder my wife and I from getting our mortgage approved. At one time I was about to give up and just cancel the purchase of our new "Home of our dreams" Luckily when all seemed lost, Ryan Howard (The Branch manager) Stepped in. I do not know what we would have done without Ryan. The issues that were preventing us from securing our mortgage were not due to problems from Mann Mortgage, but from errors from credit bureaus and title companies. Ryan solved the problems, saved the day, and my wife and I are now the owners of the most beautiful home in Las Vegas that we probably never would have owned if not for Ryan. He even sent a basket of fruit to welcome us into our new home. I would recommend Mann mortgage to anyone applying for a mortgage.

We hadn't purchased a home in 20 years, so it's almost like doing it the first time, and she was amazing at helping us through the process and answering our many, many questions. We also don't live in the area, and she was great at providing information to help us understand things locally. The market in Truckee is pretty hopping, and we ended up bidding on 4 houses before finally getting one. Every time we tried, she was super responsive, got us what we needed in an incredibly timely fashion, and was there for us as we had questions. Customer for life was her motto, and she earned it. Can't recommend Vic & Jen enough.

She's the best in the business! Jen is very personable, extremely knowledgeable, and completely transparent. She does an outstanding job of making a tedious and daunting process as painless as possible. We had an opportunity to buy a property that presented itself quite unexpectedly and we weren't even sure what we could afford at the time. Jen was able to quickly help us sort through our finances and got us approved for a loan at a great rate in a very tight timeframe. By doing so she allowed us to get our offer in first with a buyer that needed to close in a hurry. I'm sure that without her help and expertise we would have totally missed the chance to own our dream home.     I was recently referred to Jill from my realtor…read more I am very upset and do not know how/ or why this got so far. I applied for a loan and was told that I was qualified. My family and I were looking for a home in the Sparks area. We had looked online and just skimmed through Zillow/homes.com and so on. I had a realtor prior to looking. We did not have any idea of what we would qualify for. So we applied with Jill. We gave her all the documents that were requested and she kept in contact with us regularly. We did have high expectations and crossed our fingers. We did not get the high side of what we were hoping for to loan, but it was still a great number. I had signed all the documents and was approved with no issues or concerns from jill. So the search began. Our realtor and I went to several houses to determine the best bang for our buck. We found the "perfect house" All the paperwork was to follow. This as you know is not a fast process We sent an offer letter. To my knowledge, the offer letter does get sent to Jill/ loan office. The seller counters and we do as well. both parties agreed and settled on a price. I went to our realtors office to submit a check and sign all the necessary documents By this time several weeks have gone by prior to the approval I was then sent a congrats email/ Video on the house being excepted ( This was a great touch and made the experience exciting ) At this point, our realtor and I set up the inspection process. I did not realize that the inspector really checks everything inside and out of the home. We had an appointment at 1:30. I arrived early around 1:15. The inspector had already been there for some time; as he had his ladder out and was practically completed with the front and side yard. The realtor and I spend 2 hours at the "new" home. As you know, the inspector is a third party and has a bill of his own without escrow. Our realtor and I briefly review the report. Jill informs me that the next step is appraisal of the home to verify the value I then get an email from Jill asking me to give her a call. THIS IS WHERE THINGS GET VERY BAD!!!! Jill let me know that the loan NOW will not be approved. She gave me some excuse that made a bit of sense. She had said to check back in later to see if anything would change in the future. Meanwhile. Myself- the realtor and the seller has wasted valuable time!!! Ive paid for services and promissory documents! I am now out of this time, and money. I had already given notice of where I am staying and now in a jam This is UNACCEPTABLE !!!! I do not understand after turning in every piece of document requested, that after- (close to a month), I am all of a sudden not accepted. Why was this not spotted before hand. It would have saved so much time for everyone. AND MONEY!! Now I am running around trying to find a place for my family and I to rent. ( I have now -12 days to find out where I will be living with my family.) This includes trying to squeeze into my busy schedule, to view homes, get paperwork checked out, enroll my children into schools. Something that I could have avoided last minute. Not to mention our realtor had spent several days with me. Hours of paper work. Mile high of paper.- I took many days off work. - loss of income- The seller- I really do not know the situation behind them. I am sure that they are extremely upset. In my situation; I am not sure if he has had tenants that had got any news of the sell ( giving the tenant eviction notice)- Or- maybe they could not buy a home without selling this home first. I can imagine the frustration of everyone involved in this- Except for Finance Of America My family and I are now in limbo with an uncertain future.
