My yard looks great! The crew worked quickly and with intention. We're so happy with the results.read more

For someone who's…read morenot green-thumbed at all, I really needed a clean up and a redo of my yard so the dust and dirt from my ground doesn't keep blowing over into my home. Plus, having some sorts of landscape gives a better, happier vibe than a plain dirt in my opinions. I appreciated that Martin was prompted in communications re: quotes, planning and with ensuring that staff showed up at appropriate time. Paul and Cheri the staff who worked mostly to help with my yard showed up on the days/time I expected. I also appreciated that they were respectful to my property and simply could work independently on own without giving me much worries at all. Now that the yard cleanup, sod and gravel installment, irrigation for watering are done, I'm very happy and thought it was definitely worth the time and investment. Best...you know who love the work more? My 3 naughty troubles (e.g dogs)!! Ever since the first day the work was done, they all preferred spending time outside in the yard and inside the house. Usually when I open the door for then to roam around my fence yard, previously with dirt, they would choose to stay inside. But..now that the yard is redone..100% they prefer being outside! It definitely was worth the investment for me and my pets. Thank you for Roadrunner's work for that!

They said their pickup was broken. The driver tried to back down my driveway and broke only a few branches before I stopped him. He wanted to back more but I like my trees with branches. So he dumped the load a couple hundred feet up at the entrance to the drive as I requested. I am a 78 y/o man with a bad back, but I like my trees. Many of the pieces of wood were too big to use in my fireplace, I will have to cut them. Many others were were chunks that won't stack well. Others were partially rotten and won't provide much heat.. I have a large pile of small pieces and baskets full of shredded juniper bark that the rodents can use to build nests if it isn't too late. Unfortunately I have plenty of kindling and I doubt there are enough rodents near my house to take all that bark. I am not sure how to dispose of it since I don't yet have a county burning permit and my trash service is limited. I suppose the upside is that I don't have to stack a lot of wood. It is a mess: there will residue around until spring, at least, since a real cleanup will take several days and there are other things I have to do.. To their credit, sorta, the 1/4 cord of wood was very large, but now I have to deal with it all. I guess I could hire someone (at about the same cost as the wood). Never again!
