We contacted her vai email and were on a video call within a few days. She took the time to get to know what we were looking for in a neighborhood as well as the house itself. She told us all about Lake Monticello and the pros and cons of living there. She planned ahead by preparing several houses in that area as well as around the Richmond area since we were also considering that as an option. We met in the evening and looked at the Monticello houses and then went to the Richmond homes the next day. While looking at houses she pointed out things that we might have otherwise overlooked that impacted our thoughts on the house or community. I wanted something close to downtown Charlottesville. After submitting numerous offers for numerous properties and not winning an offer, a home was finally found! Ashley visited the property and assured me it was exactly what I was looking for. What she didn't tell me was it was remote and at least a 40 minute commute to downtown Charlottesville and none of the photos Ashley provided showed the massive septic tank system and the propane tank with peeling paint, despite the home only being 3 yrs old! I trusted Ashley to do the walk through at closing and she said it was fine. In reality the property was filthy and the previous owners left garbage and items in the home. I ended up selling the property six months later because it was such a bad fit. Buyer beware-Ashley is not your friend!
