This was a few months ago, coming back from burningman. The car was covered in dust and it didn't look any better inside. We called them and they did it for us last minute, within an hour or so the entire van was clean and spotless! Friendly people and a reasonable rate, especially last minute. read more

I took my car here after seeing reviews and that it was close by. I asked for an in and out for my car and he said it would take 30-40 minutes. I asked a team member if I could leave and they said yes. When I came back 35 minutes later, I had to wait another 45 minutes. And come to find out that they gave my car a wax when that isn't what I asked for. I end up paying over $100 for something I didn't ask for and I wait longer than expected. The owner's excuse is that I left and so he couldn't ask me. It's so disorganized here. I will give them an extra star because the work they do is good. I'll give them another try but this was not a good first impression. read more

I like to support local businesses but I want to also comment, maybe they will read it. I got there with one car ahead, just about finished. The owner was telling the guy to touch up places missed....... she did that for like 15 minutes..... I shrugged it off as picky customer. Noooo.... it was a warning. They started washing my car, but then started another in tandem. I thought that was mildly insulting since I get to wait for 2 cars to be washed. It was about an hour and a half ordeal. On and off random people would show up, talk to the guy and then do some cursory washing and disappear. Finally the guy tells me he is finished. Taking the cue from the previous customer, I inspect and proceed to ask him to wash all the places he missed. He does it sort of willingly. I have to open the trunk and ask him to vacuum it (usually included wherever else I have gone). So, you cannot just leave your car and pick it up later. It will be sloppily washed and you would have to go thru the ordeal of requesting the "touch up". They are very disorganized. Clean towels and dirty towels mixed up. For a business that deals with washing, the environs look like a dump. At least they did have ice cream in the freezer. read more

So glad I learned about Mr Joe's spot on Fruitvale! They were friendly and took my Honda Pilot and made it sparkle after all the dirt from a weekend drive to Lake Tahoe. The fellas even wiped down the inside of the doors, floorboards and trunk. They care about the quality of their work & have good music while you wait. I like this place. I know a client of theirs so I came here based on how his car looks after being detailed by them. I barely pull up to the small lot when I am suddenly bombarded (in a good way) with guys ready to get to work. Three started out and then it ended with two working on my car because other cars had pulled up. My rusted rims was my main focus. They look awesome! I had them shampoo the inside and was hoping the rugs would come out just as awesome and they did. The only thing is that an awning needs to be hung or made from post to post in order to block the sun. There is, however, a bench in the shade on the other side, but in the event that they are crowded more shade would be helpful. I am leaving with a huge smile on my face. This place is so much better than even the bigger detail shops like over by Kaiser and MacArthur and others. This is definitely my new spot. Oh yeah, the price is way better also. No comparison to the service between them and the others I have gone to. Most importantly, I don't have to rewipe everything when I get in. Other places especially over by Kaiser always leave trash that doesn't even belong to me. One time they left sand all in the car. I hadn't even been near a beach read more

Their prices went way up from the last car wash that was here. New cast of guys working there. Same our busted out chairs. When I started to drive away from the $10 increase in price the guy quoted me he started bringing his price down in )2 increments. I caved because the other place I go is much farther away. They barely wiped off the dash - it was still dusty and the windows were streaky. And they took a long time. Back to Touchless in Berkeley. read more

Drive up and said hi. No greeting back, I said hi again - still nothing. OK, no happy customer service here. Washed the car inside and out. The car was washed outside well. The crew is so dirty and greasy that when cleaning the inside - where they sat they dirtied the upholstery. The seats used to be spotless - now somewhat filthy, I had to go home and clean up after their mess. Not cheap - 40 bucks, and I gave an extra 5 bucks to each of their crew of four, another 20 bucks (trying to help during rough times.) Not one thank you, thanks for coming or good bye. Very unlikely I will return... can easily go somewhere else for less and not have to clean up the greasy mess on my upholstery. And customer service would have to be better anywhere else.... it could not get worse. And if they are to clean the inside, wouldn't they clean the floor mats? Geez. I used to go here a few years ago and it was fine... perhaps it had been sold to new people?? read more

I live close by so I want to like this place. It used to be fine under the previous ownership, Feddie Eddie, but I don't know about Charlotte. I had some gunk stuck to my car and they took it off along with the paint. Also, their vacuums suck. I mean they don't. Terrible job on the inside. read more

It had been a long time since we had our car detailed, so we decided to give Charlotte's Web a try. They don't charge a flat detailing rate, so you pick which services you want to add on (shampoo, wax, buff, etc.). I was really impressed with the upholstery cleaning and shampooing job that they did. Joe got out a bad oil stain on a floor mat that had been there for over 5 years! Good prices, and I like that you can pick and choose all the different services you want to add. We'll be back. read more

I recently went to get my car washed by my house at a place formally called Feddie Eddies or Eddie Freddies I can't rember the name, and found out that it's now called Charlotte's Web and has new owners, my car was filthy inside and out, a basic carwash inside and out was only $20.00 and my car was done in about 30 mins, they have a jumper for the kids, and Dino the person that washed my car was very plesant and professional, the only thing that bothered me was how loud the music was its so loud that you can't even talk on your cell phone and there wasn't enought customer seating. read more

So I get there and they took in my car really fast, I didn't have to wait. But then, they started collecting all the trash on the floor of my car and tossing it on the floor and it flew out onto the street and the sidewalk. So first, while they were cleaning out my trash, I was running around the street and sidewalk picking up what they littered and throwing it in the trash. Then I sat down and would get up to check on the car every few minutes. First, she started just packing stuff into my trunk for no reason, and then she asked me to remove all my cables and put them in the glove compartment. After I did all that, I sat down again. Then she came and told me she was done. I got up, emptied the trunk and asked her to vacuum it too. Then she said she was done, I asked her for a towel and had to give the dashboard a wipe and the doors because they were still so dirty. That was wasted money for sure, I wish I'd just done this at home. Not worth a single dollar I paid. read more

With the change in ownership and business name came a higher price and some bad decisions among staff. As always, they do a fast and decent job. At $20 for a thorough inside and out, the convenient location is what keeps bringing me back. It amazed me to watch the owner have to tell an employee that he needed to put out the cigarette he lit (sitting in someone's car) while halfway through cleaning a car. I used to go to this place years ago, and they did great work. NOW they charge $25 to basically do the bare minimum. They pay attention to details and take pride in their work. The deals can't be beat ($15 VIP on Mondays as well as others). They went above and beyond to make scratches disappear and teach me about oxidation - for free. They truly care about their customers and earn our patronage. When to charlottes web to get my car detailed (buff), talked to the guy who does buffing, he wanted to over charge me for buffing...saying that I would also need to pay for car wash + wax + buff... then I decided to leave and the owner (lady) came out and said no no no you don't pay that price, you just pay for buffing and I'm like okay do it (should have just left!) then when it comes to buffing my car, all they did wash it, wax it, and lightly I mean lightly buff it, didn't remove any residue! DEFINITELY WILL GO THERE AGAIN!!! Save your money and go else where! read more
