He came out the next morning and quickly diagnosed that our compressor fan motor had died. He obtained a replacement part within an hour and made the repair. They came to look at the problem twice and seemed to be fixing the leak but never the source of the issue. Our basement became a puddle of standing water, not just around the heater but it leaked to all other parts of our basement ruining things that were stored down there. At this point we had an extremely hard time getting them to come back out. Every day they would say they were coming, not show up, promise to come tomorrow, but tomorrow never came. They handled the situation with negligence. Ultimately we had an alternative company come and fix it for us. They pointed out some other issues that this company neglected including cutting a wire that was a safety for potential floods. Unfortunately airflo is not worth your time. He did not make us feel like valued costumers and his carelessness led us to a whirlwind of issues.

UPDATE: After the…read moreinitial delay with being able to get an estimate and have the work started, we were finally able to get the work completed. I am pleased with the quality of work and friendliness of the staff, and I would plan to use B & H again in the future for any further HVAC needs! Original Review: I'm currently undergoing a restoration project and needed an HVAC company to hopefully move a vent that we believe was the cause of some damage to our bathroom floor. I contacted a local contractor I used for other work who kindly recommended B&H for any HVAC needs. I first contacted B&H 21May and was able to schedule someone to come out and look at things 23May. The service tech that came out, who arrived promptly, was able to look at the project and even help identify another issue that I was experiencing with our HVAC system. They told me that the office should contact me later that day or the day following with an estimate for the work, which is required to initiate installation/repairs. I hadn't heard anything the following day (24May) and decided to call to see if there was any mix up with my email or contact info. The office staff had all of my information correct and told me that they would notify the estimator that I was still seeking an estimate for the work. The following Tuesday (28May) I still hadn't received an estimate, and called that afternoon. The office staff notified me that the estimator had an emergency and was out of office the latter end of the previous week and was out of office the remainder of the day, but that they would again notify the estimator that I was still seeking the estimate for this work. Today (31May) I still had not received an estimate. I called again, the office staff was aware of the estimate that I was still looking to receive, and forwarded me to the voicemail of the estimator, who I left a message for. I don't enjoy writing a negative review, and I'm hoping that I will have the opportunity to update this review with a better score. I'm understanding that emergencies come up and things can get delayed, but at this point I'm entirely dissatisfied that it has taken more than 6 business days to receive an estimate. This work is preventing me from completing the restoration work that is ongoing, where we have half our bathroom floor removed. I'm enthusiastic to use B&H as it's a local company and came recommended to me from a trusted source, but I have really been let down, specifically from their own claims of fast and prompt service. Please make this right B&H, I mostly would just like to get our house back in order, and this is starting to take way too long.

KIMCO MECHANICAL and BILL ROBERTSON This review is difficult…read moreto write for a few reasons. One is that as a homeowner, and owner of two rental properties, good, honest, reliable technicians and tradesmen are difficult to find and hold. Bill Robertson, owner of Kimco Mechanical was one that- at one time. That good relationship has been trashed by Robertson and Kimco. Over the years, between my three properties with four HVAC systems, Kimco Mechanical and I have done around $15,000 in business. All was well. Bill Robertson and his company Kimco Mechanical were responsive, pleasant, fair and honest. Another reason is that Robertson and Kimco had always been good to us, so this turn of events was a confusing shock. In January of 2021 we needed a new HVAC system at our rental. The roof there is old but serviceable. There was an old furnace vent pipe piercing the roof that would be rendered obsolete after the new HVAC install. We had had a leak there in the past, but this had been professionally repaired prior to the HVAC system install and the roof was fine- until... Kimco removed much of, and shortened that vent pipe through the roof, capped it and resealed it as part of the old furnace removal, but it immediately leaked at first rain. I called Kimco and they quickly addressed it themselves once, but the leaks continued every rain. I sent videos and pictures of the leaks from the tenants and I continued to call Bill and Kimco. I was then told "I don't do roofs- look at my invoice- it says so!" (It does say that). I said that "it wasn't leaking until you messed with it". He said "not my problem". I asked "if you had torn a carpet, or broke a window by mistake during the HVAC install, even if you "don't do carpets or windows", wouldn't you FEEL responsible and actually BE legally responsible for fixing it- either yourself or by a professional?". I was told again "I don't do roofs, look at my invoice". I suggested a compromise where I paid a roofer, and then was reimbursed by Kimco, either with cash or in free or discounted service calls, etc., but was told "Nope. I don't do roofs- not my problem". The professional roof repair cost me $150- no big deal. I moved on. There was no skin off Kimco's back whatsoever. I was willing to forget this $150 rip-off and continue to use Kimco because of the long history. When another recent HVAC emergency arose (our HVAC struck by lightning), I called multiple times, but was ghosted by Robertson and Kimco. No answer at cell or office. No callback, not even a "get lost". I asked to have an adult conversation if there was some issue. Nope. Nothing. Apparently, Robertson had decided we were done, but didn't have enough guts to say so. Kimco left us hanging with no AC in August. Do not do business with Kimco Mechanical or Bill Robertson. They "don't do roofs". Worse: They don't fix what they break. Then: They Ghost You. Steve O'Connell
