They were very prompt in getting to their house after the issue was reported and the technician was friendly. Here is the problem: The reported problem was simply an out pilot light. 2 hours and almost $550.00 later, the pilot light had been relit. So the original complaint had been they had no hot water... after relighting the pilot light the technician did not even check to see if the problem had been fixed (it had not) still no hot water. the following day my parents had to have plumbers install a new water heater which did fix the initial hot water issue. How does something as simple as relighting a pilot light and cleaning out the grate behind & around said pilot light add up to almost $600.00? everything i found said electricians typically charge $50-100 per hour. this was a wednesday, it was not after hours or any extenuating circumstance i would think called for "special rates". both of my parents are on a fixed income and now have to come up with this outrageous amount of money because the technician claimed the light went out due to dust from not being cleaned out. again if that was the case then why wouild it be back out today?

Duke…read moreEnergy has an EV charger prep program to get reimbursed for preparing your home or garage with said charger. They will reimburse up to $1,133. After extensively asking Duke all the questions to get this reimbursement, I asked for a list of contractors they have worked with. They gave me a list of 5+ electric companies. Go Green was the 3rd one I called and the only one that answered. Right away, they showed me elevated service. I explained the situation to them and they offered a free consultation to come check out my garage and give me an estimate for the EV charger installation. The very next week, Richie, the technician, came out and met with my husband to check out the space. The first estimate was a little more than what we wanted to spend (with one expensive part being the cost of the surge protector). My husband asked if we could provide the surge protector would Go Green supply the labor for installation. Richie said they could do that and also that he will come up with 5 different customizations of estimates based on different services and promotions. Richie left and within a few hours, the estimates were in my email inbox. I ended up choosing one of the mid-level ones and signed the invoice ocking in the price. Go Green had to order some parts so installation happened a little over 2 weeks later. Richie was the technician for installation too. It took him and his partner a little over 2 hours to install the charger. The city also needed to approve the charger so Richie said Go Green would handle the communication with them so they could come out. I did put in a request with him for a certain day and the city was able to accommodate. Once I received all my documents (the proof of EV registration, my paid invoice, and the approved permit), I applied for Duke's EV charger prep program. I was rejected about a week-ish later for not having an itemized invoice up to their standards. I immediately called Go Green and told them what happened and within the hour, they emailed me a new invoice which I re-submitted to Duke. Two weeks later, Duke emailed me approval for the program and two weeks after that, I received my check in the mail. This is a long review, but I wanted to explain the full process of working with Go Green to get approved for the EV charger prep program. I cannot recommend them enough. They are efficient and professional. I am extremely happy with their work!

I scheduled an appointment around 9am. By 4pm I had to call and ask where the technicians were because not one "customer service" or "dispatcher" called to provide an update until after I called them. All they can do is say they understand, and couldn't even guarantee they could have me a technician the next day. As a customer I would like to think their service would be better. Not to mention HVAC is not cheap, so this is certainly not a "get what you pay for" quality review. At least offer compensation for your failure to deliver.

I was sure it was a capacitor that went bad in my outside unit…read more It was Friday afternoon and they said they would try to get to me the same day, but the scheduler called and said it would be the next day. No problem, I was charges a 95.00 trip fee. I have no problem with that. After the technician looked over the unit he said it was indeed the capacitor. He also said my contactor was not working as it should. I told him to replace both. They charges me $272.00 for a 15.00 capacitor!!!!!!! They charged me 363.00 for a 35.00 contactor!!!!!!!!!! Then he went upstairs and said there was a pipe that has come unattached and a small amount of moisture was on the plywood under the unit. He also said the last installation was not up to code as there was not enough room to walk around the unit. He went back to his truck and came back with a 4x4 piece of plywood and the glue for the pipe. He went into the attic with the plywood and glue. When coming back down I noticed that he left the plywood up there. Nice guy appreciate that. He finished and prepared the final bill. No charge to glue the pipe!!!! He charged me 95.00 for a 1/2 piece of plywood that was used and had oil stains on it!!!!!! I have not had to have work done on a HVAC unit in several years. I know prices have gone up, but THIS IS REDICULIUS. Maybe I am dreaming, but for someone to make that much money off parts .......... As I said the service fee and the technician were great. I will call around before choose a company to fix my HVAC.
