Removing the tree was not the issue we had with this company. Our issue was how our lawn was treated during and afterwards, and how rude and unprofessional they were. They initially began the removal by using mats on the ground but I guess I done point they gave up on using those and decided to drive across the lawn with their almost 11,000 lb Caterpillar which completely destroyed the yard. After they left the first day the crew left multiple water bottles and trash in our yard as well. When the job was finally completed they left that same 11,000 lb piece of equipment on the lawn for 5 whole days which during that time it also rained heavily. We called daily to get them to remove it. I would not recommend, or use this company again.

The first time Justin and his team were out was in 2016 to remove a large tree from my backyard. I'd gotten several wildly different estimates, and Justin came in with both the best price as well as a recommendation from a trusted business associate of mine. The price was right and his team did an amazing job. Their clean up work was also excellent. The whole project was better than expected. Justin and his team was back out to my property in 2017 to do major tree trimming. I had several large trees with branches large and small either touching or way too close to the house. Again, right price and excellent work. Today, Feb. 7, 2019, Justin and several of his crew are here with a crane taking down three large trees in my backyard and one dead tree in the front. After watching them expertly swing an entire, large tree up over my house and into the driveway for chopping up, I have to say I continue to be impressed. The price for this job was again fair, and I have no doubt the finished product (they've only removed two of the four trees as I write this) will be up to Justin's usual high standards. I've referred Reiss Tree Service to all my neighbors and several friends. If you are looking for fair, reasonable pricing, genuine skill and talent (hey, when they swing whole trees over your house, you want people who know what they are doing) and who do excellent clean up when the job is complete, I cannot more strongly recommend anyone than Reiss Tree Service. Call Justin today.

I had 3 different contractors out to look at them. Justin's pricing was comparable to one and a bit lower than the other one, but I was impressed by his demeanor and his obvious knowledge of local trees, so I chose him--and am very glad I did. His team showed up right on time and the 40-ton crane followed. No problems navigating our narrow driveway, and they quickly got to work. They took everything down pretty much the ground, as promised, and cleaned up really well (leaf blowers, picking up small branches for the chipper). Reasonable pricing, quick work, and they're total pros (and it's impressive to see how comfortable Justin was up there working at the tops of the trees). I'll be calling on Reiss Tree Service again when I next need trees removed or pruned back. HIGHLY recommended.
