It definately is head and shoulders above most of the burgers in the area. The side of fries were well made as well with a nice crunchy texture and nice flavor although not to the level of the burger. The facility itself seems to be oriented to more of a takeout operation versus dine in as there are only three small tables at the front near the entrance where on cold winter day you can feel the chill every time someone comes in or leaves the restaurant. Relative to staff, there is no waitstaff as it is a counter order operation where this is really not a factor here. Overall, one of the best burger joints in the area at a reasonable cost. The takeout nature of business is a factor here to consider if you are looking for table dining as it will be a roll of the dice if you get a table depending on time of day.

That was no problem, but I specifically remember reading another review where someone stated they made a carry out order for pickup, so I thought maybe their policy changed. When I get there, I notice that there were people walking in and simply picking up there food. This leads me to believe they were picking up their carry out orders but maybe they ordered inside, went back to their car and then came to pick it up. I highly doubt this was the case but I was already there so I went ahead and ordered. Now the service when I got there was very good. The person taking orders seemed very nice and I'm not even sure this was the same person I spoke with over the phone. I ordered the lobster grilled cheese sandwhich that comes with fries. It's about $30 and as pricey as that is, I wanted to give it a shot. I do think the sandwich was good and the fries were tasty as well. I don't know if it's all worth $30 but at least it was tasty. They do have many other items on their menu and from my understanding it's all very tasty so I would say check them out. Aside from the carry out confusing the food itself is good just be weary of the price.

I had seen a lot of great reviews, so I decided to give it a shot--and it definitely lived up to the hype. One thing I immediately liked was the ordering setup. You have the option to order at a kiosk or go up to the counter, which is super convenient depending on your preference. I used the kiosk and it was quick and easy. I ordered a classic burger with lettuce, tomato, and onion along with a side of tater tots. Everything is made fresh to order, but I was pleasantly surprised at how fast everything came out. While I was waiting, the girl at the counter was very friendly and welcoming--she handed me my drink cup and later brought the food out to me, which was a nice touch. The burger itself was excellent--juicy, flavorful, and cooked just right. You can tell it's made fresh, and it really hits the spot when you're craving a solid, no-frills burger. And the tater tots? Always a win--crispy and delicious. Another thing that stood out was the customer service. There was a guy behind the counter--possibly the manager or owner--who came out to check on me and make sure everything was good. Between him and the staff member checking in as well, it really added a personal touch you don't always get. Overall, great food, fast service, and a welcoming atmosphere. I'll definitely be back--next time I've got my eye on trying one of their hot dogs.

One day I searched for diners near me and Farmington Diner popped up. It wasn't far from the office and had a lot of great reviews, so I figured I'd give it a try. When I pulled up and walked inside, you can definitely tell the place has been around for a while. The décor is dated and it feels like it hasn't been updated in decades. I'm not even sure if it's always had the same name, but it has that classic old-school diner vibe. That said, the service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the "Heart Smart" special (which made me laugh a little) -- the country omelette with sausage gravy on top, plus biscuits and hash browns. Oh my God... it was amazing. Everything was hot, flavorful, and exactly what you want from a diner breakfast/lunch. Don't let the run-down appearance fool you. The food is spot-on, the service is friendly, and even though the place hasn't been updated in years, it was super clean.
