Everytime i come to the mall I come here for my food. It's quick it's delicious there's plenty of options and i love the strawberry lemonade. It's super sweet though so be cautious. However, today as I waited in line for my food the guy adding the toppings and condiments was really rude the the guy two people before me. He was rushing him as if he was supposed to know what all they had to offer from the top of his head. The guy wasn't particularly slow at all, he asked about condiments and the guy working completely ignored him. When he asked for more mayo the guy ignored him again and when he repeated himself he yelled at him dude I heard you. The customer said my fault I didn't know, you didn't say anything. And the guy rolled his eyes. The next guy in front of me didn't want anything so I'm sure his experience was pleasant but when it got to me. I know exactly what I want and yet here the gentleman goes rushing me and when I spit out everything, I see he forgot the ranch I wait just Incase. So he doesn't say dude I heard you. But he didn't and when I say hey i asked for ranch as well he jerks my food away puts a line on it and throws it on the window. No matter what you call it, the line in the Opry Mills Mall food court for the cheesesteak and other grilled sandwiches is a testament to Charley's popularity and quality. I got the regular Philly Cheesesteak (Steak, Grilled Onions, and Provolone Cheese) with everything. The sandwich is prepared right in front of you as you work your way down the line from the register to the pick-up counter. I'm not sure who invented the Philly Cheesesteak Sandwich, but mad props to that man because there is little in life that satisfies as much as a hot oooey-gooey steak sandwich on fresh bread. read more

Yesterday I ate at Charleys while my son and husband had pizza. I left a fry on my sons pizza box so it can cool before he ate it. After my son was done with his pizza, my husband accidentally threw out the box with the one fry in it. I ate all my fries so I didn't have any left to give my son. My son wouldn't stop crying for 10 minutes. I went back to Charleys and asked for ONE FRY. The gentleman was so sweet and gave my son a cup! Located in the Franklin mall food court... Charlie's Grilled Subs offers a variety sub sandwiches, so many that I couldn't really say which one is the best but I did enjoy the California sub! Out of all the places in the mall to eat this one stays busy the most from the few times I have ventured here and there is good reason for that and its the FOOD! Only thing that kept it from getting all 5 stars is the organization,. If I was in charge I would set a particular site/location for order pick up instead of just yelling out a name and reaching over a coworker from behind the desk..kinda tacky but hey whatever works. The first time I got a small 6" teriyaki sub combo with the ultimate gourmet fries, which includes cheese sauce, bacon bits, and ranch, for $10.58 including tax. Gourmet fries, like the ultimate, are an extra $1. Everything was so good. Plus, they have the best lemonade. Make sure that you hold onto your receipt and complete the survey. The second time I came here, I used a coupon on my last receipt to buy a regular 9" philly chicken for $7.86, and I got the fries and drink for free, a $3.69 value. The food here was great(as usual with other Charley's I've been to). The service was poor. The older black lady behind the counter was having what sounded like a personal conversation with the customer in front of me, for an extended amount of time. It seemed like 5 minutes, but in reality may have been 2-3 minutes; it seems like forever as I'm standing there, only one other customer as I walked up, and I stare blankly ahead for a few minutes while they have a conversation about their families and friends. So they finish their conversation and complete the order, the customer in front of me moves over. The lady behind the counter looks up at me, as if she's waiting for me to initiate the conversation and transaction. I get the hint, and begin ordering. She's very short with me, and not at all friendly. I finish the order quickly(I've had plenty of time to decide while waiting), pay, and I'm off. No smile, no "thank you", "have a nice day"... nothing. Employees like this make your customers feel very unimportant. Customers don't see the owners, who are relying on each customer to pay the bills. They see an employee who needs more training, or to find another line of employment that is a better fit for their personality traits. read more

I was with my boys in the Opry Mill's Mall, and I'd had my eye on the place for a couple months. After attendant served my drink with the lid half-opened I went to put it on my tray and half of it spilled over the tray and counter...after apologizing to my neighbors in line I looked over the counter and each and every one of the attendants (there were like 6 of them) where staring at me with the most mean faces I've ever seen in a business before....like I had killed their dog or something...I had noticed them before (I used to eat here about twice a month) giving dirty looks to clients asking for things but never though that I would received those myself for a spill that was more their fault than mine...and after that it took two tries to get my drink half filled cause the drink server also wanted to stare at me with the mean face...not eating here ever again... read more

Chicken Philly with Gourmet cheddar bacon ranch fries yummi!! One of my most go to eat joints in Opry Mills Food court.

Friendly service and fantastic food. Wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was, and the price wasn't bad. 10/10 would go again.

The food was great the service was efficient. They have there routine down pat. Loved the food so much, I ate there twice this week.
