This place needs to close. Im drinking pepto bismol right now concerned whether Im going to get food poisoning or sick from the bug that was found ALIVE in my sandwich. NO regards for food safety and sanitation at this location. The employees need training on servsafe. I returned to the spot immediately after finding the live bug inside my sandwich, the employee was not bothered by the HUGE sanitation concern. His response was " do you what a refund or another sandwich", no apology was given nor did he even care. not to mention the employee did not check any of the produce or attempt to figure out where this bug came from... if there is more bugs or if it laid eggs. This location and employees have no concern or awareness for food safety and sanitation. I was waiting for 5 minutes and during that time, I saw cross contamination from raw chicken to a sandwich being served. The kitchen was a mess, the fryer oil was smoking and the flat top crusted with burnt food from earlier in day. I do not recommend this location. read more

On August 7 I went to this franchise and noticed that there was a deal for any small chicken sandwich for $7. Plus. When I got to the register I place an order for a small California chicken and the cashier asked me if I wanted regular fries or fully loaded fries. I told her I wanted to regular fries then she asked if I wanted a drink I told her yes and ordered a peach lemonade. After paying, I noticed on my receipt that I was charged for a combo for $6.28, and then for a small chicken, small fries and a peach drink for 6.79. When I asked the cashier if she can explain the charges, she said this is the pricing for what I ordered. Then I explain to her that there's a poster right behind her that stated that there is a deal for any small chicken sandwiches and I wanted the deal. She then told me that I should've told her that I wanted to get the deal instead of a combo. I then told her I never said I wanted a combo. But I can see where the confusion came from. I explain to her that I saw the advertisement and if I can get my charges corrected, she sent me over to the supervisor that was working that day. Before I can even explain what was going on, the supervisor started yelling at me, saying she charge me what I ordered. I tried to explain to her that there was advertisement for a deal and I wanted the deal she then said she can't do anything for me. I then asked for her contact her manger or give me there contact information and the manager name she said that she was will not give it to me and when I ask what her name was, she said that she has the right to not give me her name, and then I asked for somebody's contact that I can get a hold of, and she just pointed to a random place and said go get the email from there. I never in my life was treated like this all over a small confusion that I asked to have corrected. overall the customer service there was fairly poor, and I will never return to this location and because of this experience, I may never return back to any Charleys franchise read more

Went here for a cheesesteak sub tonight. Ordered the Bacon version with LTO and oil and vinegar. They hardly put any lettuce on it, and it was turning brown. The amount of steak was very small for an $11 sub. It tasted okay, but really could have had more toppings. Staff want the friendliest. I doubt I'll ever order again from here. read more

Lathered in gooey nacho cheese, ranch and bacon bits, what more could you ask for? Obviously not a heart attack but it's worth it! This particular location has a great team. They work very well together. Tag teaming the register, the assembly line and the food prep. Quick service all the way through. I'm a huge fan of their lemonades. Usually I avoid the food court in any Mall, yes call me a snob but I really don't love that whole system. In this case, I do stop whenever I can to have some excellent steak sammies.. Charley's Grilled Subs is delish! I must say I have only had the steak because once you go steak you can never go.. back? OK yea that didn't work did it, but you know what I mean. Came to the mall as my visit with my customer ended earlier. It was about 4p, so didn't want to go back to the hotel and had nothing to do. Found this mall on the map as it's not too far from my hotel. The mall was huge and had lots of people. I really wasn't hungry, but thought I might as well find some dinner for the night. Food court is something I usually do with my family and kids as we always have different of opinion, but being on my own, it's not the norm for me to stop by the mall for dinner. Anyway, I was very tired this day, so decided to just get something and go back to the hotel and rest. After walking around, Charley's wasn't a bad idea as I've visited them few times in TX and other places. I ordered the extra large steak and peperoni. I asked for more meat option, which was an extra $2, and made it the combo meal out of it with fries and large flavored lemonade. Total was well over $17, which I thought was quite a bit for essentally a fast food sandwich. Looking at the receipt later, it was interesting that they charged extras for fries and drinks, in addition to the combo meal deal. Let's get back to food, which was ready in about 10min. The portion was big for sure as I had the extra meat and all veggies. Overall, I was a little disappointed as there was not enough melted cheese, and the meats were dried. I'm not sure why, but it almost seemed like the meats were made previously, and the cook just reheated them. Either way, it was dry with little taste. Steak and cheese is really pretty simple, so not sure how they could screw this up, especially considering that my meal was $17+. Guess this has taught me the lesson not to do mall food again....or not anytime soon, especially when I'm traveling for business. read more

Came to have a quick lunch. Ordered their special $5.49 for a chicken philly w fries. When I saw them cooking the sandwich I thought it wasn't going to be enough and started contemplating on getting some more food the sandwich was small (6 inches) but it filled me up and I'm 6'2 230! (I wasn't stuffed but it did fill me up) Food was fresh, order was quick and employees very helpful. Will def come again! read more

bad service. There was a hair in my sub and when I let my server know he responded in a bad way , with terrible attitude. Instead of apologizing and fixing their error , we received bad looks by all the employees. When we asked for the manager, Diego , an employee said he was it. When later on we come to find out it wasn't the case, the real manager came out later on to ask what had happened and apologized for his employees. We received our order once again correctly. As a tourist here in Miami we expected a lot more. Thank you to the manager. Their employees should learn more from him and his courtesy for the customers.
