Okay, I have to admit that I honestly am not a fan of English beers, namely because I just don't like the way they are made (they tend to taste like flat soft drink), but it is still cool that they have them available, no doubt because it makes me feel like I'm actually in England. Anyway, the pub isn't too fancy, probably more a place for the residents to come a have a meal, or a few beers. This was hot and cold veggies and salads to accompany your meal even if it's served with chips..which most meals are. You go to the counter to order and pay for your meal. This meal comes in different sizes, 3 ribs, 6 ribs or 12 ribs in entree and main size served with crunchy wedges and fancy slaw. These ribs are worth getting messy for! Meals priced $13 - $35, so there is something to suit all budgets. One little surprise at this fine establishment is Benny. While eating my ribs I noticed a little dog walk through the dining area. I absolutely love dogs, and enquiried about him. Especially after seeing him featured on the menu. I was told by the staff that was Benny and is not actually owned by the pub. He is a neighbours dog. This is actually a pretty quiet country pub, and a pretty nice one at that. There is a large outdoor area, and also a terrace area out the front. However, the thing that I liked the most about this place was the fact that they had craft beers on tap. Then again, any place with craft beers is going to be a pub that I like.

I visited on a Friday night as part of a bridal party rehearsal dinner - the wedding was very close by the following day. We booked well in advance for a table of 15 and we really need not have bothered, the rest of the dining room had maybe 3 other occupied tables. Food was as you'd expect after taking a look around the empty dining room. My steak was over cooked and drowned in an overly sweet smoky bbq sauce even though sauce was requested on the side. This gets a 3 because the cover band playing in the front bar were actually pretty awesome and entertaining.
