Very bittersweet to have moved out of Windsor Village this weekend after almost two years of…read moreresidency. I had serious reservations about living in a condo community, and some previous Yelp reviews left me weary as well. But after the short time we lived at Windsor I felt like I had to come back on here and make it known how awesome the team at Windsor really is. My college roommate and I found a third roommate that we wanted to live with that over time ended up unraveling and turned our lives into constant chaos. When the end of the lease was nearing, our other roommate did everything in her power to make the process as complicated as possible, from trying to end the lease early, to not taking care of repainting her bathroom to the original color, not fixing up her small damages around the place, didn't even pay her full portion of rent the last month and then was trying to take the security deposit and run. The ONLY thing that kept me from having a mental breakdown during all of this was the team in the leasing office. They upheld their end of the contract just as my college roommate and I held ours, and they made dealing with our other tenant as simple and sane as possible. They were always available and timely with communication, they were honest and understanding with our bizarre situation, and they truly made what could have been a disaster of a transition as seamless as I could have dreamed of. I also have to give a shout out to the maintenance team-- there were only a handful of times that we needed things fixed or replaced but when we did, those guys were quick and efficient. No BS, just got the job done. I highly recommend living at Windsor-- you'll even get to enjoy fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies, pizza nights, and occasional coffee and donuts handed out by your leasing office

The office team was unprepared and for some reason, rolled their eyes at me and my partner for asking for our scheduled tour. Before heading out of the leasing office, our tour guide and the other woman in the office were laughing and making fun behind the backs of another group that came to tour which felt wrong. I didn't feel comfortable with that. We leave the office for the tour and our guide does not talk to us and is 50 feet ahead of us without turning around to make sure we were following alright. Then, we get inside the unit and she immediately gets on her phone. Whenever we had questions about the closet or appliances, she seemed annoyed and gave very vague answers. The space itself was clean but the ceilings felt really low which made the space feel smaller. The place was also very hilly with lots of stairs to get to the fitness center, etc. Parking was affordable compared to other places we toured at first car free and 85 for second car. Decent space but I really did not enjoy the experience of interacting with the office so it'll be a no for me. To top all this off, I keep getting automated emails saying I missed my tour appointment and that they'd love to show the space to me. Guess the office never even bothered to check me in.

We had never seen the apartment before moving, and were not disappointed. The community offers a ton of amenities. They have a pool, grills, fire pit, club house, yoga room, gym, dog park, business center, media room, bike storage, the list goes on. The dog park has been a major benefit. It creates great sense of community. Loving here with no friends, the dog park made me feel right at home. I met my now best friends there. I even threw a birthday party for my dog and had almost 20 people show up. The office staff had been extremely helpful. I recently transitioned to a work from home job. The office was great with letting me use the business center for some training I had, which made life much easier for me instead of having to find some random hotel conference room for training. They have always made me feel right at home. The maintenance is fantastic. It feel like things sometimes get fixed even before they break. The service is quick and painless. Rarely even realize they were in here until I finally see what was broken was fixed. They maintain the property very well. They change out the plants seasonally and make the apartment so welcoming. They are very open to suggestions. When the community requested lights at the dog park or the awning at the dog park, management listened. It was completed and made it easier for the community to use the park. Which is great for the pups that will only go in the park. I have been extremely pleased with everything. I would highly recommend Bell Watertown to anyone. Especially people moving form out of state. It is a great community to ease the adjustment into Boston/Massachusetts.

Whenever I have had an issue with the small things, she has acted quickly to resolve the situation. As a small example, the other day she personally delivered a package to me after it had been wrongly delivered by UPS on Saturday morning. There are honestly not enough great things to say about Brenda! One of the key reasons why I stay at the Merc is because of her personal care and consideration. The Merc would not be the Merc without Brenda!

Just want to summarize some things:…read more Zero air flow inside or outside the apartments. It's like living in a tomb. Sound insulation between apartments is non-existent. The building is at the corner of Main & Moody and the lack of sound insulation includes street noise. The kitchen sink does not have a spray, just a plain old faucet. Very few apartments have closet doors. Garage is only accessible for Buildings B & C. Management is very dictatorial; the staff reflects this. The building has settled with the ensuing issues. They don't change air filters in apartment often enough. It was only changed once in the year that I was there. There is enough parking for people who have a car. Some speed bumps were removed during the garage construction in 2024. The 70 bus is right there as is Commuter Rail to NORTH Station (minimal service on weekends). Lots of restaurants around; walking distance to Hannaford. The gym is good.

They are always coming up with new ideas and ways to engage the community. They're the most friendly and helpful management team I've ever seen after 14 years of apartment living. 2. Great amenities and new building - the amenities (6th floor rooftop deck and gym, as well as various seating areas and lounges) are top notch and well maintained. 3. Good value - considering the location, age of the building and amenities available, I thought it was a good value compared to the other luxury apartment complexes in Boston. Cons: 1. Poor flooring - for whatever reason, the flooring in the units is very thin. I've never had noise issues before until I live in this building. If you have an upstairs neighbor who is a stomper like I do, then you're pretty much screwed as you'll hear considerable noise and vibration whenever they walk around their apartment. 2. Traffic noise is sometime excessive - unfortunately, the building's location (right beside a major intersection) means that sirens and auto noise (i.e. honks and truck exhausts) are frequent throughout the day and loud enough to penetrate the windows. Thankfully, traffic dies down in the morning and evening, so it isn't such a big deal I'd say if you can get a top floor, inner unit (i.e. not facing Leo M Birmingham Parkway), then this apartment complex is most likely one of the best places to live in Boston!
