For one car I was getting different stories from different bankers after I bought my car and tried to make a large payment. When I tried to buy my wife a car we waited days for the loan to come through. When it came down to the end we used another lender. Westerra couldn't fund my loan to get the car but the loan was definitely listed on my account home page to start payments. I've been a member for over thirty years here and I thought good loans were the reason you work with a credit union. 800+ credit score you'd think they could make it happen better than they do.

We are constantly having to reset our password to log into either their website or mobile app. Not only that, we usually have to call to complete this task rather than being able to reset via the security questions. This happens at least once a month, if not more. It is extremely frustrating and they would do well to fix this issue, as I'm sure that I am not the only one that has this issue.

A man named Moody handled my issue with absolute professionalism. He made half a dozen calls, hung out on hold several times and got it all cleared up. By the time I returned home, the new card was approved and all the miscommunications were handled. I just may have to open an account with Chase since their people are so professional and helpful. Based on that, we rearranged our work schedules and made a special trip only to be told there was nothing they could do and the money wasn't available after all. This is unacceptable. Not only was the check issued by your institution, but we were also clearly told everything was good to go. No communication, no follow-up, and no accountability when we showed up and were turned away. Wasted time, lost work hours, and no resolution. If this is how Canvas handles their own checks and treats customers trying to follow their instructions, it's hard to trust them with anything more important. Do better.

DO NOT ASK ANYONE AT THE FIRSTBANK (Wads & Cole Mine) BECAUSE I HAVE DOCUMENTED PROOF OVER TIME THAT THEY DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER!!!...!!! The answer is common-sense based customer service and they will echo and preach this but THEY DO NOT PRACTICE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The other day, I was waiting in line to get new checks re-ordered because their vendor (Deluxe) screwed up my new account order... fine but this issue should have stopped there. Instead, it led to my cancelling of one account completely and two more are pending so I can RUN, not walk, AWAY FROM THIS HALF-ASSED BUSINESS! Teller JAMES recognized I was waiting and said to me, "I'll be right with you Sir. I just have to respond to an email." Fine, I continued to wait. James looked up at me several times in the next few moments and then I noticed he walked away from his desk, walked all the way back to the far end of the room, around the floor and then walked out the building, got in his car and left... I stood there, stunned and disrespected like never before. The front door agent, KAYSIE, noticed this and met me at the teller stations to help. I mentioned that James had said he was going to help me but decided to just leave instead and she dismissed the issue. She originally set the order for my new checks so I showed her the error and confused and/or completely disengaged, she shrugged and asked me what the problem was. The address the vendor sent these checks to was correct but the address on the (100) checks themselves was wrong; not even close to my address... I ask you, anyone, faced with this issue, what is the only rational and common-sense comment to offer to your customer? Exactly = offer to immediately re-order new checks that resolves this issue... What did Kaysie offer? = "... oh, just write over your address with your real address..." I refused and demanded new checks be created; needing to wait yet another 7-10 days... I left and logged into my online bank account to document the issue with James and his complete failure to offer any customer service when he should have. About 20 minutes later, STEPHANIE (branch manager) called me to discuss this issue. I offered that even if it was James' lunchtime, he certainly should have completed his role by taking my questions and helped resolve my issue or at least referred me to someone who could help so he could be dismissed without disrespecting me by literally sneaking away... What did manager Stephanie offer? = "... oh, actually it was James' lunchtime... but customer service is our top priority for our customers..." I immediately denied her claim and told her, "obviously that's not true! Don't you understand what just happened? James recognized me, told me he'd help me, and snuck away right in front of me... that IS NOT CUSTOMER SERVICE, not even close!" Again, Stephanie apologized and parroted, "... but customer service is our top priority for our customers." Like a goddamn robot...!?!?! She NEVER even addressed James' behavior...!!! Fed up with this whole day and previous issues with this bank not supporting my chargeback needs, not helping me to protect my money several times, exhausted, I stated, "Maybe when I cancel all of my accounts, maybe someone worth a damn at Firstbank will notice a big drop in accounts and decide maybe they hired too many crap employees to run this place!" Bottomline: do you want post-college aged punks and delusional supervisors/managers to manage your life savings?
