It was such a challenge to find a primary care doctor and someone to talk to within the city, the transition was hard enough and I just needed help and someone to talk to. When I called Dana Farber, they got me in right away, no problem! Once in, they set you up with the most incredible nurse practitioner who will then evaluate you and set you up with your best fit for you in terms of a therapist. It is the most well-oiled machine. You should not bring your children here for any psychiatric care. To start off with it took two…read moremonths after filling out online intake forms to have my child assigned to someone. I called multiple times and emailed and never got a response. Finally my daughter was pared with someone and she would cancel often and frequently sometimes same day. She was very unprofessional. Then her schedule was changing and it was not going to work with her school schedule so we were reassigned. I was assured weekly virtual appointments. All I knew is that she was nice. A few weeks later we did an intake appointment. She could only do biweekly and at the end of the intake she told us she was going on maternity leave in two months. Why was I not informed that my child was being set up with someone who could only meet with her four to five times and then go out? We were told there would be someone to meet with during the leave or we could go somewhere else. I chose a temporary clinician. A month and a half later we were told there were no providers that had space for adolescents. So we decided to wait. She went on leave Dec. 2025. In March my daughter had some very concerning behaviors. So I contacted Dana and they said end of March beginning of April. I asked them if they were sure because my daughter really needed to see someone. The person on the phone laughed at me, called me honey and said that is the information they had. I tried calling later and asked to speak to the manager, they said they would send an email and I would get a call back. I never did. I called back and got someone else and they said that therapist would not be back till June. I asked to speak to the manager and once again was assured an email would be sent and I would get a call back. In the interim I found someone else for my child. But I was upset on how the reassignment was handled and how the people who answer the phone behave. None of them identify themselves by name. They are very inappropriate especially speaking about your concerns regarding your child. I was not taken seriously. It took two weeks, multiple phone calls, emails, portal messages to finally get to speak to the manger. She of course apologized but also use the excuse of being short staffed. Then they should not be caring for kids. This company gaslights and hides behind a smoke screen of bs. They do not care about anything except making money off of you and your suffering. It is a disgrace to medicine.

My therapist was nice but their admins and billing team have communication issues. They asked me to…read morepay $30 or otherwise they would cancel my appointment. No bill, no breakdown, nothing on paper. I called gave them my card, the guy is like oh I'll give this info to billing and I asked that they email the receipt for the $30 to my email on file. Guess what they did? They charged my card for $40, not $30, did not send me a receipt and now I got an email saying that my appointment has been cancelled.

The office experience was excellent they actually answer their phones rather than talking to an AI…read moreattendant. They ran my insurance for me and told me exactly what the costs would be. Testing was professional and timely with a very comprehensive report and feedback. I would highly recommend this group that has a number of excellent neuropsychologists and professional staff.

This Neuro feedback was very expensive and resulted in no improvement of any aspect of my…read moredaughters brain injury. The Dr spent a lot of time testing in the beginning and showing the results of the tests but there were no plans to retest at the end if 20 sessions. The only thing that was repeated was a very subjective and unreliable survey rating aspects of her symptoms on a scale of 1-5. Dr Ross was sure that my daughters speech had improved when it was clear to all of us that it was no different or even worse that day. This was a huge waste of thousands of dollars.

It took my brain a while, so be patient if you don't see instant results. Dr. Ross continues to be engaging and helpful in our discussions and check-ins. It is clear to me she cares about her clients and is passionate about the work she does (as is everyone in the office). The staff are kind and it is clear they care about each other and the clients. The office is a little hard to find if you are using the googlemaps phone app. You should look for the driveway close to the train tracks then go to the left and down. There are designated parking spots.

I recently visited Mariana for a Reiki session. I have to admit it was my first time with Reiki,…read morebut I've always heard things about it, so I thought I would give it a try. Mariana has a great set-up, she works out of her home, parking is easy and she has a side entrance for her practice so it feels professional and comfortable. For me, the Reiki was very relaxing. I happened to be getting over the flu, so had been experiencing sleepless nights from coughing. I was concerned that as soon as I lay down, I would start coughing, but somehow Mariana's Reiki managed to calm my system down. The energy from her hands did manage to let my body relax, which it hadn't in the past few days due to the flu. I did feel better when I got up to leave! Mariana had some feedback on the energy she was feeling in different areas of my body, and followed up on it with an email explaining the different chakras (energy centers of the body). If you are thinking of giving Reiki a try, I would highly recommend Mariana, she is warm and welcoming and her Reiki gave me a boost when I was dragging!

Dr. Thor Bergersen is a life saver! I have extreme adhd as well as being an ultra-rapid CYP2D6…read moremetabolizer. This means my body metabolizes my adhd meds at least twice as fast as normal metabolizers requiring me to need higher than FDA recommended doses. Most doctors in psychiatry do not understand this and would not give me my therapuetic dose, despite evidence from genetic testing. Dr. Thor does understand this and prescribes adequate doses for me. He is very responsive with requests and the office is very adhd friendly with me being able to schedule appts online and request refills online. The phone is never answered but after your first appt you are given a different phone number that goes directly to Dr. Thor. He is a god-send and I would be devastated if he were to ever go out of business. DO NOT TRUST the 1 star reviews.

A week later, after not hearing from her, I gave another call. Voice mail said leave a message. After not hearing again, a few days later, I called the main number mail box, which it seems is answered by no person, but left a voice mail on the machine. So far, ~ 1 month later no call. I am left wondering if this business is for real and why they bother to post all this information about the therapists and a phone call away advertisement, when no one responds. The one star if for the potiential of something, but really there is nothing to put a star on... No service.
