She did a thorough exam, reviewed all records and previous ultrasounds, and gave a detailed description of the diagnosis, therapy and outcome and spoke on a level that my son could understand. She also spoke to him privately (he's 16 years old) to see if he had any concerns or questions that he wasn't comfortable discussing in front of mom. Read many great reviews on them on their website and the Dr reviews were no different. Very true to their reviews. Once I came into this office, the staff was very kind and quickly got me in to fill out paperwork and get me to my appointment. Despite being late, they took me in and made it work. Booking process was so easy. I went to the CareMount Medical website found my doctor and bam scheduled the next appointment available. I didn't have to book months in advance for this doctor so that was a plus. Caring staff, awesome doctors, great office. Glad to have found my PCP and hope to stay with them for a while.

Dr. Madris is the rare doctor that blends a professional, businesslike demeanor with humor and a quick wit, which puts me at ease. I tend to be a bit squeamish about getting blood drawn and the other invasive aspects of normal physical exams, but Dr. Madris is always considerate of my feelings, and makes the process prompt and painless. He's also given me the best medical advice I've ever received - "Exercise!" - which improved my outlook on myself and on life in general. Dr. Madris is never cold or preachy; he treats his patients in a respectful, matter-of-fact way, and actually makes me look forward to my annual physical. As with any sole doctor practice the appointments can potentially back up. However, I have yet to go to a health practitioner's office and not expect to wait. The staff is very friendly and knows what is going on so they can expedite your visit. Dr. Madris may seem stoic at first but once you go back to him again you kind of get a feel for his personality. He knows what is needed at the time of meeting with you. I get it that when the test results come back he reviews them off-line, outside your visit. He does do that due diligence. If there are any changes to what he had previously recommended he'll correct it right there and then. For example, I had a sports injury (deep scrape) that was not getting better - the infected area was oozing pus after a week. So when I was getting my anti-biotic prescription filled he called me personally that I probably needed a stronger anti-biotic since the injury was a sports team related scrape. He wasn't going to take any chances on my proper healing. Well after he called me he called the pharmacy I was getting it filled. New "script" and the infection cleared up pretty quickly afterward. The only hiccup I had with the office was a summer vacation they had and I did not realize my prescription was at its last refill. I had to wait until the office "came back" from vacation. Needless to say I was worried about my ailment but the "lag" did not affect my next test results. (In his office's defense I was alerted in time and there was a back up doctor on call too.) I write this review as I prepare for arthroscopic surgery and I had to have a pre-op screening with him. Though I made my decision already he did his duty to ask questions that made not question my surgery decision but to also further research the pros/cons of the surgery. It's my first time for invasive surgery so I need to be better prepared even though I had thought I was already. He was the objective voice to ask if I am really... really... sure that I should have that surgery. In summary, I like Dr. Madris in the over three years I've been his patient and we've developed a pretty good doctor-patient relationship.

I was in labor for three days and stayed at the hospital for five and my husband and I still rave about how well we (plus our girl!) were treated. What a warm all-star team, from our midwife Linda to Katelyn our nurse and our OB Dr. Shaw, who made giving birth one of the biggest, coolest, bravest things I could do. I'd always heard that Northern Westchester has got a great labor and delivery dept but this went beyond anything I dreamed. Plus, the food is unreal. Feasting on salmon, chicken quesadillas, pancakes, and green smoothies pre and post-birth? Your own room? 24-hour nonstop help and advice? A first-time-parent's dream. 5 stars!!!!

She has taken the time to answer all of my questions despite how busy she may be. I've also found the receptionists there to be polite each time I've spoken to them. Dr. Evans' website is also easy to navigate. Overall I believe dermatology offices can become quite busy since they not only conduct assessments but have to perform lengthy procedures depending on their patients' needs. I just came back from a facial with Carmen, who works with Dr. Evans. Her technique and room is kept neat and clean. I felt nurtured and relaxed from my treatment. I believe she has been in this line of work for 35 years. It was nice that throughout the facial she asked if I was comfortable.
