You may well wander into Charcoal Grill after a healthy booze at one of Lewes' many beautiful, quaint and cosy little country pubs, and think that the prices are a little high, and you are right. BUT...you have to try the food first, because in my opinion it makes up for the price.
£5 for a small Kebab is not cheap, and £6.70 for a large isn't either, but once you've gone over the £5 mark, I would be inclined to go large for an extra £1.70, because you will not be dissapoined. The Lamb Shaslik is my personal fave, and I love it with extra jalapenos and lots of their hot sauce. NICE..
One thing though for Brightonians or 'outsiders' who don't know the area, is to be aware that even on a weekend this place shuts early (1 on a weekend, 12 on a weekday) so blame yourself if you miss out. read more
