The price point of 12.75 for the food + 3 for the flat white felt reasonable, although I am still acclimating to using pounds (first day here!). Music playing was soft and pleasant, and the seating was plentiful and clean. Definitely recommend this as a quick breakfast stop!

The place was really busy but I managed to find a free table outside and spent several minutes looking at the menu and I couldn't decide what to eat as everything sounded so appealing. After making up my mind I chose the falafel, olives and feta on flat bread and an orange juice. The staff seemed really friendly, because you order at the counter but they bring it to your table. My lunch was yummy. Not a super meal, more like a quick bite for lunch but was quite good and the falafel wasn't too crunchy and hard as I experienced before. I decided to not stay for coffee as I wanted to try some other cafés but overall the place was a really good choice for lunch. Nice decor with a few tables to have a seat outside in the sun, pleasant staff, free wifi and a good spot for people-watching (my favourite sport!!).

It was my last night in Brighton and I had done loads of research and came upon this place, it's fairly new so not too many locals new about it but I decided to give it a try. The service was a little slow, one guy working but the food was way too fucking good. You have the option of wings with different sauces or fried chicken burgers. THEY ALSO HAVE VEGAN OPTIONS. I decided to order the Hot as Cluck burger with Fried Potato skins & 2 sauces. WOW.... I'm not even sure if I can use my words to describe how good this was. The thigh fillet was so juicy, moist and flavourful, the coating was crispy but the breading was evenly spread. It was topped with pickles, lettuce, & spicy chipotle slaw. As a side I got the fried potato skins... fuck French fries - these were insanely good. They were fully cooked, had a great crisp to it and a bit chewy. They were seasoned perfectly. I also decided to get 2 of the homemade sauces. The Thai basil & jalapeño creamy sauce and the Sweet Soy & Ginger. They were perfection. The Thai basil went great with the potatoes and I would splash a bit of the soy on the chicken burger. Now the most important part is after I had finished I didn't feel gross, I didn't feel as though I had eaten junk food! That's called quality right there. Please check this place out! Keep Eating, Angela

The menu is a bit of an eclectic mix of Oriental cuisine and prices are about what you would expect from a takeaway. Usually, I order as I pass the shop so couldn't comment on the speed of a telephone delivery order. The staff are always friendly when you are in the shop and it doesn't take too long to wait for your food. They do serve up a very good salt and chilli squid and this dish is probably what keeps me returning. A lot of the bean curd dishes are also quite nice and as a vegetarian for most of my visits here, I never felt like I was getting fobbed off with after thought dishes. There are better Chinese takeaways in the city for sure, but there are also far worse.

When my boyfriend and I ventured inside for the first time and ordered our usuals (green thai curry, chicken vindaloo and sag chana), we realised the menu is uncannignly similar to that of our old friend, Mumbai Express. The man behind the counter eased my confusion and told us it's the same business. The food is brilliant, full of flavour and not just doused in spices and grease like some curry house. Most dishes come with rice and yoghurt dip, and a 10% discount on pick-ups keeps us coming back for more. The Chef's Specials are well worth a look in, and if you're not up for the whole shebang you can dip into the appetisers to mix and match.

None the less, 'Panda Garden' (if only their were such a thing) is a good Chinese take away and restaurant, offering both eat in and take away services. Like with Yummy Yummy down the road, I was particularly impressed wit the price. I managed to get two mains and two sides for £11, which worked out as more than enough for two of us. The food was of a good quality, not over doing the greasy MSG that is so often present. I can't comment on the restaurant experience, but the decor is tradtional and relaxing, certainly nice enough to take a gamble.

The interior is gorgeous, really bright with fresh flowers on the tables and traditional Thai decorations adorning the entire restaurant. Upstairs pretty parasols hang from the ceiling. The best place to sit is definitely downstairs, as they have tables in a wonderful cushioned area with foot wells built in to the floor- I've made it sound kind of weird, but it's really cool! It feels like you're at a Thai tea party or something! If you want to sit in this area, I'd advise calling ahead. The food is delicious and the attention to detail is impeccable- every dish comes with really ornate carved vegetable flowers. Ok, so maybe this is a pretty standard Thai garnish, but I'm telling you some of the flowers that will arrive on your plate are incredible! Everything I've eaten here has been delicious, but I can particularly recommend the vegetable tempura to start and the king prawn red curry as a main. Yum, I truly love this place!
